Very nice room with balcony and view. Comfortable beds. The room on the top floor is great! You do have to take the stairs for the last level, but it is well worth it. Be careful with foreign credit card charges, the hotel staff converted to foreign currency (for an exchange fee) without asking - but the receipt does disclose it, so just be careful.

The staff at the Hotel Cordoeanier were so helpful and kind. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved the included breakfast; and the attached bar and terrace were such a nice convenience. We enjoyed having a couple drinks after a day of site-seeing just a few steps away from our hotel room.

It was well located, the price was reasonable and the staff was friendly and helpfull. I would go back to this hotel again and I would also reccomend this hotel to other people. The one issue was there was no parking facilties around the hotel, we had to leave the car in a multi story car park a mile away.

Best attribute is the Rose Cafe. Great beer list and music in the evening. Location of this hotel is also excellent. Shower was very good. You are paying for location for this hotel. The rooms are quite dingy and old. Carpet is very dirty and needs replacing. Beds are old. Breakfast is totally mediocre and unvaried. Eggs are inedible.

Myself, my partner and 2 friends booked a family room at hotel Cordoeanier through Booking.com for nye. I could not be happier with the whole trip, booking.com is great as you do not have to pay untill you arrive with no cancelation fees! Also, I was very pleased with booking.com customer service. The hotel itself was extremly helpful, as we were driving I emailed to ask parking, they sent a full email with detailed parking instructions, cost and directions. When we arrived we parked right next to the hotel at a pay and display, unloaded the car and then drove less thank half a mile to the multistory carpark. Such a short walk to the hotel and only €8.70 a day! It is much cheaper at the station which includes a bus transfer, however as it was nye I was unsure the buses would run so we parked here. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean with fresh towels everyday. The bathroom was small, but was all we needed. The breakfast was great, nice and fresh and surrounded by lovely decor. The Red Rose Cafe attached to the hotel is really lovely, and serves very tasty beer! This hotel was a real bargain and in a perfect location. I would highly reccomend it and hope to visit again soon. My only tiny criticism of the room was the bathroom door, it was a slide door with quite a large gap, which wouldn't have been a problem had it just been myself and my partner, however, being with friends it could have been slightly uncomfortable when needing the loo!

Excellent location and really friendly staff. Included breakfast was reasonable. Loved the attached bar which had over 150 Belgium beers!! Room was a bit on the small side for three people and we continually hit our heads on the low hanging lights.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right around the corner from the Markt/ Grand' Place! The hotel sends a very informative e-mail including nearby parking options to prepare for your stay. The room was very simple, no deco, but with comfortable beds. Extremely clean for a older hotel! The bathroom is the size of a closet but workable, even for a high maintenance gal ;) Very quiet street with a cafe/ bar attached. Breakfast was included, charming breakfast buffet room with eating in the Red Rose Cafe, so cute. The staff were exceptionally friendly, spoke terrific English and were very informative. We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby while touring for the day before heading back to our car.

Very clean basic room, serviced well. Well appointed in Brugge. Staff friendly. Had to pay extra for daily tea/coffee tray. No hairdryer Breakfast whilst adequate scrambled egg and bacon was only luke warm on each of the 3 mornings we were there. Appreciate it was not an expensive hotel, but these are basic requirements.

The perfect location, the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast and the Rose Red bar which was ideal for that last drink of the day when the bedroom was only a flight of stairs away! I didn't take a hairdryer with me and there wasn't one in the room but I coped by borrowing one from my friend who was in the next room.

Comfortable and affordable. Room slightly on the small side for 3 adults ( no where to hide!) but netherless suited a one night stop over. Would book again Red Rose cafe awesome, beers fanatastic, wine lovely (and cheap!), staff friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast is homely & location can't be beaten.

The staff was very helpful and polite. They were pleased to answer our questions about everything. The soundproofing wasn't that good so the first night we could hear people from other rooms talking however the noise wasn't annoying.

We loved the hotel. All the public areas were very pretty and really suited the feel of the city itself. The staff were helpful and the extras were not overpriced (packed lunch, coffee/tea in the room) The first room we were given was very small but we slept there the first night. In the morning we asked if it was possible to change rooms and they moved us to a very pleasant room straight away

The staff was very helpful and easily changed our room when the first was too small. The first room we had was extremely small. The second room was slightly larger and fit the need for the weekend. If you need 2 separate beds, be sure to ask for that.

The hotel is located just around the corner from the Markt (center of town) but close to local restaurants, grocery store, etc. We booked a double room but they gave us a triple because we had a 1 year old baby with us. The breakfast is fabulous- bacon, scrambled eggs, ham, yogurt, cereal, delicious coffee, juices, different breads and spreads. They will even pack you a lunch if you ask! Gil (the front desk clerk and bartender) was wonderful! He was so accommodating and helpful. We loved the Rose Bar at night. It was a wonderful and affordable way to relax in the evening and enjoy unique Belgium beers without the touristy prices. Bed was very comfortable, shower worked well and was quite clean. They also gave us a discount card to be used during our stay! Great time in Bruges! I wish the hotel served dinner at the Rose Bar, that would have been nice. Also, I got quite a few mosquito bites while sleeping bc the windows had to be opened (it was hot and stuffy) but that happens in Europe, no screens or AC in most hotels!

This hotel is in a building that is quite old, which we found charming. There were some things that went along with this, i.e. thin walls, creaky floors, relatively small rooms. However, the charm of the building more than made up for this in our eyes. If you are looking for every modern convenience, this may not be the place for you. But if you are looking for a cute hotel in a great location for a great price, this is it. The hotel bar, the Rose Red, had an excellent selection of beers, many that were difficult to find elsewhere. The hotel staff were extremely knowledgeable with regard to beer, and made sampling beer there a truly wonderful experience. They were also quite helpful for other things as well. Breakfast was better than expected for the price of the room. To sum up, nice, well priced room in a building from the 1600s with an outstanding beer bar in the lobby and great staff. Really enjoyed the stay. Air conditioning would have been nice, however we really didn't need it for most of the stay. Really a minor point.

“I was travelling with two young children. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. We had a good size room for 3 plus a great bathroom. There is a small lift, thus no problem with bringing bags upstairs. Decor was very pleasant and room was clean. We had a back room so there was no traffic noise. There was free access to a computer for browsing the internet. There was parking available close to the hotel (for a fee).” Robert, Fareham |

“The hotel was great! Not far from all the activities, but far enough to not be exposed to the noise, etc. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with lots of selections. It was much better than I expected considering the low cost. I would highly recommend this to everyone” Connie, Mt. Pleasant |
