The staff was excellent. They provided great suggestions, were very knowledgeable about beer and we're happy to talk to you. Breakfast was great and location was fantastic.
Bathroom was a bit akward as it was just a sliding door. Sometimes strange when staying with friends
very friendly and helpful staff Excellent breakfast
The staff was helpful and the location was good. They arranged a pickup from the airport and to the train station. That was excellent! Also, they arranged a tour to Giverny which was so easy to and from.
The beds were uncomfortable and the breakfast was the same thing every day! No fresh fruit. I figured being in France we would have delicious breakfast pastries, but no. Boring breakfast, no toaster.
Value for money, friendly staff, nice cafe/bar open until late, great location, room is comfortable and clean, nothing to really complain about! Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice and reasonably priced hotel to visit Bruges.
Location and value for money
Noisy courtyard at night
the location the staff the breakfast
the room was decorated well but everything was kind of poor quality once you looked a little closer, the bathroom was very small and to be honest a bit dirty. There was a lot of noise coming from the street and people smoking on the street from the hotel bar coming into the window(which isn't technically the hotel's fault, but bring ear plugs!!) Overall the place isn't bad, but I've stayed in much better places for less money.
Very well located. Excellent bar. Clean.
Location to city center Colocated bar was great fun!
Parking was about a 10 minute walk away Rooms could use an updating but are functional
Excellent location, right off the market square. Breakfast was lovely. Staff great, helpful. Decor and overall hotel was really nice. Bar downstairs was excellent - 127 types of beer, busy but quaint and atmospheric
Bathroom was very small
Location Breakfast Price Cleanliness Staff WiFi
Tiny (But functional) en-suite Some noise from neighboring rooms
Expect friendly staff Quaint hotel Lovely cafe with great choice of beers Breakfast
Tired rooms Small bathroom
the hotel was central to every thing but just of the main track so was very cosy nice bare well supported by the residents good value
the continental breakfast was a bit basic
No elevator Really noisy staircase Bad wifi reception
The hotel close to the main square, but off the beaten path on a quiet street. The breakfast was included and was excellent: scrambled eggs, cereal, toast, sweet bread, meats, cheeses, coffee, tea, and fruit juice selections.
As with many places in Europe, there was no elevator.
Hotel is great. Just off square. From our room, 39, you could see across roofs to belfry & hear bells. Don't worry they stop at night and restart in the am. Great breakfast. Small shower but clean. Free wifi . Great base. Station 20/30 mins walk through park and into high street so you get your bearings as u arrive. Should be more than 2* definately .
En suite v small and sliding doors were a challenge some times
The location The bar downstairs The breakfast The cost The staff
The wood floor in the rooms, Reception and breakfast area was very nice and homely, yet modern. The building splits into two hallways, one is better decorated than the other and sadly we had the other, that could do with some TLC. Red Rose pub is situated right in the centre of the two hallways, it is a superb pub and very relaxing feel to this, it iw where you also eat your breakfast in the morning. Breakfast is quite good.
The bathroom door didn't slide fully closed so you were always on show, the bathroom was partitioned and looked like it was done on the cheap.
It was like a big happy family and I fell in love with flo the dog she was adorable
There is nothing that I didn't like
Apart from the location, sadly very little else, although breakfast was ok
The room for us and our daughter was on the ground floor and looked out straight into the outdoor bar area. People were sat drinking and chatting within touching distance of our window. The window was open when we arrived and we shut it straight away due to the noise and before some one lit a cigarette and the smoke wafted into our room. ( a non smoking room!). During late evening we could hear loud chatting and laughter that finally stopped around 2240. There was no air conditioning so again with the window closed it was too warm. We regularly stay in hotels and this room by far the worst room we have ever had
The location was fantastic, just off the main Markt square and a few minutes walk to Burg Square and the beautiful canals.
The bathroom is tiny. It's completely functional and the shower is great, it's just that its very small.
Breakfast had top quality fresh ingredients and a wide choice
The breakfast. The quality beds. The situation of the hotel near the city center.
the door to the bathroom which is noisy.
Excellent hotel in the centre of Bruges. Breakfast with hot dishes.
Only the vicinity to the town
Everything, not at all impressed with the room, it was more like a backpackers, we are in our late 60s we were put in a room on the third floor with a winding narrow staircase and the place was so noisy with people downstairs partying in the back section.
The location was great and the beer was excellent. Breakfast was very good
Bathrooms very small
