The accommodation was nice and close to the central square. The room was fairly basic but who needs a great room when there is Bruges to explore :-) Breakfast was good and they have a quaint little bar too!
The walls are a little thin and we could hear everyone walking up and down the stairs!
The staff were polite and the place was nice, food was nice and there was plenty for breakfast.
Beds bathroom confort relation (price/comfort)
Staff were really friendly, bar was cosy, location excellent.
Style of hotel and bar. Friendly helpful staff. Good choice at breakfast.
Small bathroom/toilet space...but it was clean and didn't affect any part of the trip/experience
Excellently located with great staff, the real bonus is the Rose Red Cafe being downstairs...a superb introduction to Belgian beers in an intimate and cosy atmosphere
The walls are pretty thin so take your ear plugs!
location is fantastic just around the corner from the town square and restuarants, shops etc.
the bar,the staff the location all fantastic!
Helpfull staff. Clean and friendly hotel. Not far from main square. Breakfast had a great variety, was all hot and fresh food. Going back again next year
Staff were welcoming and helpful. Excellent location, close to square
Excellent location with only a 3 minute walk to the centre. Lady a reception seemed a little cold having spent some time travelling but checked in all okay. Room was very basic and felt like a studio flat and a little tired and dated, but for the price it's more than enough for such little time spent in there. Drinks are expensive as with most places and breakfast was 'okay'. Bruges itself is literally a fairytale and simply stunning, especially with the Christmas vibe and market. Will be retuning again but may try a different hotel with a little more comfort
Receptionist seemed a little miserable and not very welcoming on arrival or helpful with the nearby parking which we needed. Don't expext too much for breakfast. Eggs and bacon and the usual continental breakfast which was busy and seemed to take forever to get a slice of toast
our room was up some narrow steep stairs bathroom w/c to small not bad but we will not do that one again only stayed one night had some sad news from home so had to return home
Location Cafe Bar Staff Value
Rooms were very small
Our entire stay was perfect, from the moment we arrived 5 hours early to drop our bags off, only to be told our room was already available, to the prompt service to get the radiator working properly, the delicious breakfasts, the fabulous Rose Red Cafe, the wonderful beers....the list goes on. This hotel is less than a 3 minute walk from the Markt, so you are on top of everything, but you wouldn't know it as the rooms are so quiet and peaceful. The Cafe is buzzing all day and night, it is the epitomy of cosiness. Their beer selection is fantastic, each one served with ceremony by knowledgable and friendly staff.
Very friendly staff, the rooms were clean and in a fantastic position close to the main square. Annex to the hotel was a lovely pub selling over 200 Belgian beers
Breakfast was just OK
Location plus good breakfast
Bed was very soft and mattress old
A lively Bar, good prices and a super Breakfast
Cafe Rose Red and its range of beers. Good breakfast. Warm and clean.
Endless steep stairs.
Great location, nice clean rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices. Red Rose bar attached was wonderful!
Staff extremely friendly and the Rose Red cafe attached/next door, lovely atmosphere.
Nothing, all very good.
Location 3 minutes from grote square, brilliant bar, wonderful selection of beers
Step from bar to hotel not safe
All of the experience The staff were so helpful and local knowledge was. better than the information centre
Nothing to dislike
Breakfast was excellent Location excellent Staff excellent Bar excellent
Could of done with tea & coffee facilities in the rooms, but that's the only minor gripe
Pleasant stroll to main square and decent restaurants. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Good beer tasting on site.
Room initially cool but soon remedied. Bathroom small although decent sized shower. Stairs rather dark and a bit tricky for the not so nimble.
Very central and nice staff. The backyard is very well tought
Breakfast could have been richer on choise. No croissant or similar when I Belgium is disappointing.
