Central location, although you have to walk 50 m from the very quiet street before arriving at the attractive area of the city.

Small elevator and narrow stairs could be a problem for somebody travelling e.g. with plenty of luggage. The hotel is along a ragged street, but walking 50 m brings you to a nice area.

The room I had overlooked a charming narrow streeet in the Old town opposite the Music acadamy from where in the early evening you could hear strains of classical music played to a high standard. The 'Terrace' was a pleasant courtyard to the rear where you could enjoy a drink - buy your own. The hotel itself has no bar but there are a dozen within 100m open until late. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. WiFi is free which is a bonus, but you have to ask for a free password.

Check-in is 3pm - no exceptions. Do not expect luxury or room service. You get a very comfortable room - which needed some redecoration but this was underway in other parts of the hotel - the buffet breakfast and that is it. You are left to yourself. No Bar, no public areas apart from the terrace, and no meals but basic Breakfast. But you are in the heart of the city with all it has to offer within metres so you dont need it. If you want luxury and room service dont stay here. If you want a comfortable hotel with reasonable facilities at a reasonable price then it is the hotel for you.

Room was very spacious with great view over pleasant historic buildings opposite. Bathroom sizeable as well. Breakfast buffet ok, but dining room cramped. Location is right in the middle of the historic centre, so ideal for tourism.

Beds much too soft. Free internet was in the small print sign by the front desk, but the book in the room said we had to pay 22Euros per day, so I didn't use it. Likewise the sign by the front desk said tea and coffee facilities were avaliable by request in your room in very small print - why not just have them there anyway? Small touches like that done generously would make the hotel feel like better value for money

No climatization in the room; very small bathroom.

The first room we were given had a tiny bathroom. When we asked we were given a complimentary upgrade to another room (same) with a much larger bathroom. The hotel is close to all the things you want to see in Ghent. Our room was on the street but there were few night noises.

Central location, old but clean hotel

It was one of the worst hotels I have been in Belgium. Very old furniture, bad look from the window plus they will charge your card and than block the same amount on top of that.

The fact it is right in center town and close to all monuments and areas of interest.

The breakfast described as exceptional and in reality absolutely nothing special.

alles was een beetje gedateerd, parkeren was een drama. Veel de kleine parkeerplaats. Niet een echt gezellig hotel. Voor de lift moet je niet claustrofobisch zijn! Zeer eenvoudig hotel

Uitstekende ligging midden in het centrum. Kamers niet overdreven luxueus maar comfortabel.

Door de beklinkering van de straat (kinderkopjes) kan langsrijdend verkeer 's nachts verstorend werken op het slapen.
