I really liked the lighting in the room and the design of the hotel.

Ease of access from Brussels airport (10 mins by coutesy shuttle). Extremely sapcious & quite hotel.

Physical environment and appointment of hotel very good at the price. Very near the airport.

Expect to wait to check in at the front desk while the clerks answer the phone and take reservations. Don't expect the waiters to notice that you are there for breakfast.

Shuttle service to Brussels National airport. Reasonably quick check in/check out. Clean & quiet room. Coffee facility for early departure.

I think we were given a one-night stay room. There were little facilities for arranging or stocking clothes, only hangers, no drawers etc. Also, when being promised 'a gift' when booking the so-called 'summer deal' arrangement, one expects more than only one 20 cl. Bottle of still mineral water, and that is even just one bottle for two guests. Better not to make promises at all.

While most of the hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful, that was not universal by any means. Hans (a waiter in the restaurant) may very well be the rudest waiter I have ever had. Fortunately, the restaurant manager was very helpful and seem genuinely embarrassed by our experience with Hans.

It was extremely convenient to the airport.

I was disappointed with the choice and price of the room service menu, as an airport hotel many people need to avail of this service and it was inadequate and ludicrously expensive. Also shuttle buses only once every 45 minutes in summer!! That cost me an extra 10 Euro for a taxi.

Excellent value for the money. We stayed there with our travelling companions since it was so close to the Airport, and we were leaving for the USA the next day. Large, comfortable rooms (by European standards) that are well maintained. If you are considering an IBIS/ Novotel or equivalent, try this hotel. It's much larger and there are beautifully maintained walking paths in the green belt behind the hotel. My rate of 89 Euro also included a buffet breakfast, making this an exceptional value.

Food and drinks are high, but they were everywhere we went in Europe, so I wouldn't focus on this one hotel. They were at about the same rate as any of the other hotels we stayed in.

Staff was excellent. Room maintenance issue was fixed immediately. Management, desk, and breakfast staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive.

(1) Shuttle service. Hours reduced during the summer. Okay once you've arrived since you can walk to the local train station. Cab driver at airport was really irate about his short fare to the hotel. Told us we should have taken the shuttle (which we advised him wasn't available). The hotel may want to assist with working something out for guest arriving during the mid-day off hours in the summer. (2) Internet charges. As much as I needed to check mail, I refused on principal due to the high charge.
