We went to visit our daughter who was flying into Brussels for one day and staying at the Sheraton which was opposite. As such we compared both the Crowne Plaza and Sheraton and for us the Crowne Plaza was the perfect choice, being friendly, personal and with a warm ambience. Reception staff were welcoming and changed our room when we asked for one with a view if possible. Decor in room was relaxing and comfortable and facilities good with plentiful supply of coffee/tea/milk. Bed was V.comfortable. Breakfast choice was extensive with wonderful selection of fruit juices, cereals, nuts, cheese, cold meats, fruit etc. English style breakfast was little unappealing with streaky bacon only (prefer back) and powdered scrambled eggs which other people have commented on. Boiled eggs were cold. However oriental style stir fry (one with noodles other with rice) really tasty and we chose this both mornings. Breakfast staff were courteous and friendly. Wide selection of teas and coffees available too. Underground parking was very convenient in Parking Rogier Euros 14.30/day and we felt car was safe. All in all a great stay Only fatty bacon and powdered scrambled eggs!

The Hotel at large is very nice a combination of modern and old buildings is fantastic. The staff is very keen to help although I had...... But I willl explain hereunder. Food fantastic the bar is very relaxing cleanliness etc. I loved my stay An accicent occured whilst checking out wher the system did not release my visa card money. I had to pay cash as the receptionist told me that the day after she will speak to the accounts departement so that I would have my problem solved. The day after which was my last day went to check re the money if they were released and I had no reply. I went several times and they once again told that they are working on. At one time the receptionist came showing me just an email that Mr. Grimbaud sent to the bank to release my money. I was frustrated and filed a complaint to both Mr. Grimbaud Financial Controller/ city ledger and to the Ass. General Manager but I was and still am without acknowledgement and reply and my money are still blocked. So whilstthe staff were all friendly then on another note the ass.gm and the finacial controller did not bother to handle a situation which the hotel system caused. Kevin Camilleri RM 625

The comfort of the hotel was its best feature. Beds were lovely and soft and the overall state of the room was impressive. Staff at reception seemed quite disorganised for a 4 star hotel. They had a long line up of people waiting to check in while one manager stayed on the phone and the other acknowledged the long line but didn't actually stop to attend to people. It didn't create a favourable first impression.

All was good. Breakfast was very good. Parking !!! I always select hotels whom have parking and so I choose the Crowne Plaza. However I did not arrive in my own car ( Mercedes s420 dutch numbers ) but in a car from an employee ( vw Golf polish numbers ). Upon arrivle I asked the concierce to park my car and after he looked at the car he said : we do not have parking sir. You have to park in the public parking arround the corner ( will cost 15 euro per day only sir ) which I did not do.After I brought my suitecase to the room ( 224 ) without any view , I went with my wife to the shopping centre and while I was walking out of the hotel , 1 of the hotel parking places was free and I parked the vw Golf at that spot leaving a paper on the window writting : Crowne Plaza room 224. It was a very bad feeling to do so only because of the Polish license plates of the car. Believe me , me and my wife felt very bad anout this.

Good location? not far from either central part or the Nord railwaystation, which is comfortable to reach the airport.Polite staff at the restaurant, clean rooms. It was very pleasant to find the tea equipment in the room after a and long eventful day. The deposit at a check-in. Nobody told about it before and no notices about it during on-line booking. It was a graet ammout of a half of a real accomodation fee (50 euro per day - 50 or 100 euro as it is usually). If you are ready to stay there for 5 days for example - be rready that 250 euro will be blocked on your card without any notices before.

For the first time I wish to claim my stay. It's unbeliveable to have such low temperature during the night (this is a winter time anyway), and so leaky windows and gaps in doors - and everything for ca e 170,-!!!! P.S. Also it'd be good to raplace TV remote control batteries from time to time as well

We booked a double room making use of the term that children under 12 could stay freee of charge. They gave us one of the larger double rooms with a double bed and a double sofa bed. Very spacious. Given the general cost of hotels in Brussels, this was a very good deal very close to the tourist attractions in the city centre (walking distance, about 10-15 minutes). The breakfast was also good, both in terms of variety and especially quality, but maybe not one of the richest I have had in four star hotels elsewhere. The hotel is an art deco building of about 100 years. Overall you don't feel it as an old hotel, but in some details (eg wall painting in some places) it could use some refurbishing.

Good location, close to shopping, about 15min walk to the Central square. The hotel is catered to business people, very clean rooms and large rooms. The hotel is very quiet with an excellent breakfast. The rooms have no carpet which we loved!!!! The cleaning lady kept taking our keys and we had to go get ones every day which was very odd! She never left enough towels and we had to request more. She would turn the heat down all the time which made the room so cold, especially when you want it warm after walking around Brussels on a very cold night!

The common areas are very nice. Free wifi and gym. Great location. This was our second stay. The first time, our room was much much newer and nicer. We rebooked because we thought all the rooms were like that, but that was not the case. Our room this time was not nice, outdated, old.

It was a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities. Rooms were fabulous, breakfast was fabulous (lots of variety to choose from), bar was fabulous and cozy, reception was nice, helpful and friendly. It is great for any traveler that prefers a clean, nice and large spacious room, and of course a wonderful and accomodating all around staff. I will stay there again on my next visit to Brussels.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Nice breakfast. The staff was always willing to assist. Free wireless internet in rooms was fast and connection was excellent. Guests can also use computers at the business centre free of charge. The only downside was that we could hear the noise from the adjacent roons.
