location right in the heart of Bruges on the canal. staff very very good and friendly and reacted very professionally to our concerns about room Breakfast though extra cost to room was very good Quiet

the first room we were given was grubby with stained chairs and curtains. As a result were offered a different room and an upgrade as hotel staff wanted us to be happy with our stay

Loved the room and decor. The view was amazing. Brilliant service, very helpful. The whole hotel is gorgeous and very very clean. Expensive stay but in my eyes worth every penny. Location second to none!!!

This didn't bother me but the wifi signal wasn't very strong. But you don't go to Bruges to go on wifi!

Our extended family of 7 chose the hotel for its location right on the canal and the fact that it was featured in the movie "In Brugge", a favorite of my 2 adult sons. Upon arriving by taxi in the rain, my daughter fell on the main street and broke her wrist. The staff could not have been more helpful arranging a room for us to put all of our luggage, a taxi for transport to hospital, and pampering during our entire stay. Further, the staff made excellent dining recommendations and reservations to allow us to try local food. Would go back in a heartbeat.

    Nothing.

This is a very romantic, cosy, and small hotel. We had a classic double room with a lovely view straight down onto the canal. Friendly and helpfull staff. Excellent location in the city centre, close to all major sights.

The tourist vessels passing by do make quite a lot of noise (voice of the guide). But this is only during the day.

    Location

Very expensive small gloomy bedroom, poor light for reading, no English tv channels, breakfast not included and charge was 19euros. Bathroom door initially would not close at all, botched repair done, mirror so high that impossible for wife to use. Generally very disappointing

Location, decor, quiet spot, beautiful hotel.

Perhaps a small breakfast could be included in the price with the option of a paid for larger breakfast.

The hotel is absolutely charming and is beautifully located. Each room is individually decorated and makes you feel as if you've stepped back in time. The breakfast room is lovely and provided the best breakfast of our trip. The staff was genuinely interested in our welfare and went out of their way to help. Of them, we got to know Silka the best - what an intelligent, delightful young woman. We plan on visiting the hotel again!

It's a pricey hotel, but I suspect it's right in line with every other nice hotel in Brugge. For us, it was worth it.

Location, champagne with breakfast, friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Small quaint boutique hotel which offered an exceptional experience - lovely view of canal from breakfast room too

Nothing - this was one of the best small hotels that I have ever stayed in and I have travelled all over the world

The location was the best for seeing everything Brugge had to offer. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make suggestions for dinner and sites to see. Over all a most pleasant experience.

Room was a bit small, but for a view of the canals was worth it. If room size is more important than make sure you request a larger room.

Lovely setting of hotel by canal. The entrance in a narrow alley off-street has small external seating area by canal too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great city. Very pretty. Good restaurants. Beers and chocolate the specialities. Recommend getting away from the crowds in the centre and walk around the East and South areas - the canal path, St Anna island perimeter see the windmills.

Breakfast was expensive. Our room on the 3rd floor was comfortable but small and only had a small window A comment, not complaint: If you drive there streets are narrow and one-way system. Hotel parking at €25.00 per day is expensive and 200m walk away. The one way traffic system means either carry bags back to car or a long drive around the town to get the street at the end of the alley in which the hotel entrance is located. The staff offered to help take the bags though.
