De Beiaard is a small hotel situated in the city centre of Torhout. Experience the warm welcome of the friendly owners Chantal and Johan and discover the beautiful area surrounding the hotel. Extremely helpful staff. Parking in front of hotel before 6pm must pay if more than 30 mins, or free car park short drive away.

Inchecken na officiele aanmeldtijd (20:00u) mogelijk, na mailtje met eigenaar. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Ontbijt bij prijs inbegrepen. Eenvoudige kamers, zeer compact (lees: klein) sanitair. Voldoende, maar ook eenvoudig ontbijtbuffet. Goede indruk, maar prijs/prestatieverhouding is aan de hoge kant.

Lekker rustig, fijne kleine eenpersoons kamer, niet overdreven. Ontbijt netjes verzorgd. Toilet en Bad ruimte iets aan de kleine kant.

het onbijt was nie heel erg uitgebreid, maar was in orde en ordelijk en verse broodjes enz.zeker voldoende,kwam niks te kort. de kamers zijn wel erg klein.vooral de sanitaire voor ziening.wc,douche,lavabo.dat is echt op een heel klein oppervlakte voorzien.

Chambre moyenne reception tres poli pas de soussis petit dej parfait et bien reçu Chambre propre salle de bain nettement trop petite pas de place pour se retourner même seul en été chaleur intenable p)as de clim nuit trés chaude car chanbre sous les toits bebit de boissons bruillant en face sous la fenètre tard dans la nuit

Het eten was er goed. De kamer was klein, geen buitenraam, maar Velux raam in het dak. Enorm warm, lag ook aan het weer, echter de kamer bleef ontzettend warm. Als je de Velux openzette had je last van muggen.

Washandjes, zeep en shampoo, vochtige handdoekjes, douchekapjes aanwezig Het behang in de ontbijtzaal bleek al oud en gaf een ouderwetse indruk - presentatie van ontbijtbuffet kan iets beter stond genoeg maar oogde wat rommelig

De uitbaters zijn heel vriendelijke mensen. Je voelt je vlug thuis. De badkamer was heel klein, maar dit werd gecompenseerd door de mooie presentatie van de zeepjes en shampoo in een washandje! Zelden dat je washandjes vindt zelfs niet in 5 sterren hotels. De baas zorgt voor alle gebak. Zelfs de cakejes bij de koffie en de broodjes bij het ontbijt zijn door hem gebakken. Hij verzorgt ook de eenvoudige maar heel smakelijke kaart! Het restaurant wordt ook veel bezocht door de plaatselijke bevolking. Mevrouw zorgt voor de bediening van de gasten met een glimlach. Je kan stad Torhout moeilijk een 'stad' noemen. Als je van rust houdt is het een ideale verblijfplaats en uitvalsbasis. Brugge is maar 20 km en de kust 35 km. Het is een provinciestadje met heel wat charme en enkele kastelen in de buurt die je zeker moet bezoeken. Wijnendale is ideaal voor een gezin met lagere school kinderen. De kids zullen zich zeker niet vervelen! Prachtige groene omgeving is overal te vinden. Ideaal om te wandelen en te fietsen indien je er verblijft voor meerdere dagen. Voor herhaling vatbaar!! Enkel de badkamer viel wat tegen qua omvang, maar het was wel verzorgd.Voor 2 sterren allaeszins ok.

Nous sommes content de notre passage dans cet hotel, rien à redire. Le restaurant avait l'air bien mais nous avons préféré mangé sur Bruges. Un peu éloigné de Bruges mais peu d'hôtels disponibles sur place. Il faut mieux prendre l'autoroute que la nationale...

Les chambres sont très agréables sous toit avec grand velux il a été prévu un grand ventilateur et moustiquaire. Personnel très accueillant et disponible. Petit déjeuner copieux. Nombreux parkings gratuits autour de l'hôtel. Bruges n'est qu'à 20 mn.
