Staffs attitude + Location+ Price + Neighbourhoods. Overall excellent hotel.
As somewhere to put your head down without caring what was around you on a long and tiring weekend it did the job.
No tea/coffee making in room. No nice touches to make the room more attractive.
The staff was very friendly and I got there really fast from the train station. The room was big enough for one person and enough if you just want to stay there one night.
The shower in my bedroom didn't work properly. As much as I enjoyed the friendly service, I wouldn't stay there again.
reception service room facility price
Strategic location near to the Gare du midi. Good facility. Clean and neat. Possible for early check in.
Hotel is in excellent location. Close to railway station. Allowed children below 6 yrs age for free.
There was fan in the room instead of an A.C.
I like the welcoming attitude from the front desk to the staff who fed and cleaned. They all appeared happy in what they were doing and provided a good service. Having wifi on hand all the time was necessary for me and for the price the atmosphere, food, services were very good. Thanks.
I actually have no negatives - I was well looked after.
Within walking distance of Bruxelles-Midi/Brussels South, attentive and helpful staff, competitive pricing
Lift was spoilt on the day I arrived, and I got a room on the 4th (top) floor. Would appreciate if I could have gotten a lower floor, especially since I would be checking out in only a few hours.
The hotel was close to Railway station. The place was very clean and one of the male receptionists was extremely helpful and the wait staff were lovely. We went budget and we got what we paid for. I would go back there but would go for a dearer room. The hotel is in the Arab quarter but we felt extremely safe at all times.
The beds were like bricks. Our bathroom door was warped and couldn't be closed. No heating/cooling. No tea/coffee. One male receptionist couldn't speak English particularly well and wasn't very helpful.
Very close (5 min walk max) to the Midi rail station, and good value for a late booking. Simple but sizeable room.
Lift seems to be out of service permanently.
All in all a good couple of nights stay, Staff really friendly and helpful
A bit more choice with Breakfast
Staff mainly helpful. Good breakfasts but charge 5 euro. Good location.
1: Weird smell in hotel 2) clean but a bit old so can seem unclean 3: mosquitoes/flies around. Bites all over body 4: only 1 key provided!! 5:rooms quite small.
Close to train station
Poor wifi signal
I am staying in this hotel probably the 4th or 5th time. I chose this hotel as this is the cheapest available near Midi Station. Rooms are clean and big enough. They have a fan which is helpful in summer.
They don't have air-conditioning, just a fan. So, pretty hot. Road side rooms are bit noisy. Wifi is slow. Shower in the bathroom is very poor that it don't have any pressure.
Not the best part of Brussel but central and reasonably priced.
It's €48 per night, a very cheap place to stay the night very close to Bruxelles midi and that is exactly what you get. It's not as nice as on the pictures but it's ok, nothing fancy, an old room to stay where you can shower and watch some tv, slept well
Doesnt really matter how much you pay but the bathroom was extremely small, a little more space, for sure when you are tall would have been nice and a shower you can actually stand under would be nice too.
I thought it would be close to the train station but I arrived on the last train and it was too dark to walk
It should have cost max £40 for the room - I paid £80. Smell of fire retardant in the corridors and room. Obvious smokers in room before. Door did not have a security lock. Felt sleazy. I would not go back there.
Breakfast was cheap and everything worked.
The room needed decorating. It would have been a challenge to store suitcases if I hadn't had the 3 man room to myself.
Close to the railway station, good for early morning train traveller. Friendly staff.
Room is smelly. Surrounding does't look safe, especially at night.
Smell of tobbaco on the corridors and in the room
Everything was clean and the staff was really nice.
The location was good. Train, metro and bus stations were very close. The area is not very nice but you re quickly out of the place. But would have been scary if I was completely alone. The breakfast was also value for money...for just five euros. The receptionist speaks English and was very helpful.
At night sometimes its a bit noisy but nothing too big. And the area isnt wondeful otherwise as previously said.
The location was close to the train and bus station
Small rooms and bathrooms,no mirrors,
There was no hot water in the room for 2 days. The staff didn't do anything. At the end I want some discont from the price, but they didn't give me any discount.
