We loved staying there! It was a perfect balance between a city break and a countryside stay. Only 10 min drive from Bruges - it was the perfect place to stay (if u have a car) as it's so close to Bruges and has free car park. There is a supermarket nearby (delhaize) perfect to get goodies from belgium. Leene provided us with a wonderful duplex apartment (a renovated barn from the 1500 - she showed us all the pictures) and fantastic breakfast with home made marmelades and jams, fresh eggs, milk and eggs from their farm. There are cooking facilities if needed (perfect when u have young children) and an additional living room (with kids toys) to relax in with tv. Our 3 year old son also played with lots of toys tractors bikes outside with other kids which was perfect (we met a few other families from Belgium who were staying there at the same time) a few locals were there as well, we felt fully immersed in Belgium culture! The village where the farm is, oostkamp, is a gem: not a piece of grass out of place so clean and tidy, so is Bruges, but never saw anybody cleaning up or rubbish collection - how do they do this?! All in all, it was awesome - never imagined it would be this good (I was a little wary as I couldn't find any reviews before booking) so to whoever is considering staying there: don't hesitate!
