Fourneau Saint-Michel (10 km): Here the local houses have been rebuilt identically in a large park planted with trees and offering all kind of activities in the summer time.
Redu, the village of the Book and Space (10 km): This village is one of the first 'book villages' with a historic bookshop. The European Space Agency is also located here.
Laroche-en-Ardenne : An ancient fortified castle.

zeer lekker ontbijt 1/ best niet de familiekamer op de eerste verdieping want deze is gelokaliseerd net boven de TV kamer van de eigenaar van het hotel en deze stond nogal luid en kan je dus niet onmiddellijk inslapen 2/ rook iets teveel naar de sigaret in de inkomhal 3/ restaurant Romain des Bois net over het hotel was zeer goed |

De kamer waar we verbleven was proper en goed onderhouden.Het ontbijt was goed. De kwaliteit v/h eten was beneden alle pijl,tussen het zeer eenvoudige voorgerecht(een soort frituurkost) en de hoofdschotel hebben we de eerste dag 2h moeten wachten.Het vlees v/d wildschotel was niet gebakken en taai. |

d'avoir pu changer de chambre car la première nuit nous étions dans une chambre qui était vraiment peu confortable et qui donnait sur la route et la place de l'Abbaye (très bruyant, pièces peu chauffées, belle douche à hydromassages mais qui ne fonctionnait pas complètement). Après discussion le lendemain avec le propriétaire de l'hôtel, deux autres chambres nous ont été proposées dont une à l'écart dans une aile rénovée du bâtiment que nous avons accepté de prendre. Cette dernière était confortable et calme. |

Als je de prijs met de kwaliteit vergelijkt kan je niet beter zitten. We kregen zelfs heel de bovenverdieping (twee badkamers, woonkamer, keuken en een stuk of vijf slaapkamers voor ons viertjes...) |

Le petit dejeuner est copieux, le patron très aimable pour parler des environs, possibilité d'obtenir des cartes etc, ambiance familiale, salle de bain spacieuse, wifi opérationnel. Vieillot, lit jumeaux au lieu d'un lit double, pas de rideaux aux fenetres mais un simple store, désordre des salles communes,décoration trop chargée et poussièreuse, couloirs froids et sombres, impression générale de laisser aller.Le repas du soir n'était pas a la hauteur |

Goed ontbijt. Rustige hotelkamer. Erg gunstig gelegen in het centrum van het stadje, en dicht bij bossen en mooie natuur. Internetverbinding deed het niet. |
