One word- perfect
Owners were polite and breakfast were delicious.
Very fine structure with very kind guests. The owner is a wonderul lady that will help you with almost everything.
Ginette and Patrick are lovely, as are the house cat and dog.Ginette has found her true calling as a B&B host.Beds had chocolates on the pillows and our childs bed had adorable bedding on it, which made her super happy. The house is pretty, full of charm and character. We stayed in the fall, but I imagine the gardens and outdoor pavillion lovely to use in the spring and summer months. Our room was comfortable and we loved the giant tub to soak in after a long walk around town. The breakfast was super, Ginette pays attention to every detail. The added bonus of being able to take the leftovers for a picnic lunch was truly thoughtful. Good value for the money, very friendly and we would not hesitate to stay again.
Ginette is a fabulous host. The breakfasts are thoughtfully prepared and beautifully delivered and the bag supplied to put leftovers in for a picnic later is insisted upon. Lovely.
Fantastic B&B - best I've stayed in. Such a beautiful house with tons of character and brilliant location as well - within easy walking distance to the centre of Bruges. The breakfast was incredible and hosts were very friendly and so helpful. There were numerous little touches that made this a great stay - would recommend this to anyone visiting Bruges as an ideal base for your trip.
Nothing - everything was great and met all of our expectations.
A fantastic place to stay. The host and hostess are very warm and friendly. Breakfast is sumptuous and excellent. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Would go back again.,
Wonder place. The decorating was superb. Food was excellent. Easy walk into town.
food friendly and helpful owner situated close to ring road in Bruges
Jennette was very helpful and made an amazing breakfast and encouraged taking leftovers with you.
Room was a little crowded so not much room for the suitcases.
Woderful welcome. Owners couldn't be more helpful. The only problem was being able to move after the fantastic breakfast. They go to a lot of trouble.
Greetings on arrival made us feel special, the breakfasts were amazing, and Ginette gives you the greatest "to go" breakfast ever! Patrick went above and beyond by rescuing us when we couldn't get a taxi after a torrential downpour! Wish we could have stayed longer.
We didn't like leaving.
A nice cosy atmosphere. A very pleasant garden with outdoor seating and shelter. Wonderful home prepared breakfast with enough to take with you for lunch. A steady 15 minute walk to the town centre along picturesque canals and windmills.
We found nothing to dislike.
This B&B looks like a fairy tale, every little detail in the rooms and outside is thought out. The hosts were very nice and friendly and the breakfast was good.
Week Wi-Fi reception in the room.
This B&B was voted the 3rd best in Belgium, the two that beat it must really be something. The owner Ginette, is really nice; she obviously loves what she does and does it well. The rooms are immaculate, as is the rest of the property. Bruges is a beautiful place and the centre is just a 20min walk away along lovely canal side paths. Breakfast is something else - outside of a really good hotel I don't think I've had anything nearly as good. You are also encouraged to take a packed lunch from the food you don't eat at breakfast - she even provides you with a plastic bag to take it in. So really the price is for bed, breakfast and a packed lunch !! There are beers and wines available in the fridge at the price you'd pay in a supermarket. Free parking and a beautiful garden to relax in and have a drink complete the package. If we ever go back to Bruges we wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.
Warm, friendly owners who give you an interesting briefing, over a drink, on arrival. The house is like stepping back in time. Easy 20 minute walk into the City. Secure parking for our motorcycles. Biggest and best breakfast ever!
Wish we'd have booked for longer.
Within walking distance of town centre, Ginette is the most perfect hostess, could'nt be more helpful! breakfast was great, rooms are gorgeous, will definetly be going back next time we're in Bruges !
It was an absolute pleasure to stay in this lovely house even if it was just for a night. Everything was so cozy and beautifully decorated with a personal touch which created a feeling of home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and Ginette was a wonderful host. We really appreciated her hospitality and generosity - she welcomed us with drinks and an overview of Bruges. Her attention to detail and the care she took of the house and her guests was impeccable. We would highly recommend it for a weekend getaway or a romantic trip.
It would be better if customers booking through booking.com are informed that they cannot pay with card facilities at the B&B. It would have been better to know in advance that we would need to pay cash. There were luckily ATMs that were not too far from the house. The location of the house is on the outskirts of the city and it is in a quiet somewhat residential area. There is a bus (not so regular on holidays) that goes through the village to the city centre or one can easily walk. The coziness and warmth of the B&B outweighed the fact that it is situated a bit far off.
That you felt special
This place is absolutely heavenly! The decorations, the house, the owners...everything was absolutely amazing. The breakfast was WOW..I've never had such an amazing breakfast anywhere. Words can't describe this amazing place. I will definitely come back to stay here and I definitely recommend this place. It is not far from the center, maybe a 15 minutes walk but there is also a bus station very close. This is also a 'biker friendly' place. The owners insisted I place my motorcycle in their indoors garage. Excellent! This was the best accommodation ever!
The location was excellent for access to Brugges and great restaurant. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of fancy choices and lunch bag offered. We especially enjoyed the pavilion where we had an evening drink. The hosts allowed us to store bikes in their garage.
We received a very friendly welcome and felt at home. Ginette gave is lots of useful information about Bruges and what to see and do. We slept well in a comfortable bed. Bedroom and bathroom excellent and spacious. The highlight was the delicious breakfast with lots of tasty choices. Ginette gave us bags to fill to take what we hadn't eaten with us, so lunch was assured. Thank you both for a wonderf stay. We hope to come again. Mike and Sylvia
Ginette and Patrick are delightful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble - like picking us up and returning us to the station. Incredible breakfast and they even provide a "doggie bag" for you to take what you didn't consume to make a picnic lunch. Their tips re places to see and things to do is also exceptional. We loved it and said it was a B&B&P = Bed & Breakfast & Picnic!!!
The squeaky bedsprings in the "Romantic Room" BUT we worked around that minor detail!!!! LOL
Delicious and chic B&B with pleasant owners... a huge and delicate breakfast, we really advice this place and wish to come back there...
nothing to say
We enjoyed a fantastic stay, Ginette and Patrick were excellent hosts. The location is a short walk to the city centre and Ginette provided us with detailed directions during her routine welcome. The continental breakfast was a true work of art which had been prepared with meticulous attention to detail.
Nothing at all!
