Nice quiet location,5 mins from train station. 10 minute walk to centre through park. A very unique place to stay, made a pleasant change from a "normal"hotel. Needs tea and coffee facilities in room, you shouldnt have to pay extra.Breakfast very nice but the galley to small to cope when busy. |

We loved the cosy room with a view of the canal. The full breakfast was spectacular and delicious! Dining rm was very pleasant in the morning with a view of the canal.Check-in and check out was very pleasant- excellent and helpful staff with good directions and maps! A couple of the towels were frayed- maybe they should be replaced for a fresher look. |

The Barge is quirky, and has lovely views over the canal, as well as ducks who quack to be fed right outside the window. The rooms are nicely decorated in a nautical theme, and the bed was really comfy. Its very handy for Eurostar travel, a short walk from the station, and 10-15 minutes brisk walk from the centre. |

It is a pretty unique hotel, and nicely situated. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. It's also small, which gives it a cozy atmosphere. They don't accept PIN transactions, which can be a bit troublesome. |

The concept is unusual, it is small and intimate but at a decent standard of comfort. The breakfast was good - and oh, yes - it is in Bruges Obviously, being on a boat does cut down on space, with the corridor in particular narrow. It's also rather hard to find the first time, and there are only 7 free car parking spaces. |

It was certainly "different". Nice to look out each morning onto the water and watch the barges pass by. The staff were not as professional as at other hotels. We had to pay extra for tea making facilities in our room. |

This is a unique hotel in a good location for a city break so long as you don't mind a pleasant stroll into the city. We booked a midweek package which included breakfast, which was excellent with a good buffet, a three course dinner, which was also excellent and bikes for a day, an excellent was to see Brugge and to cycle along the canals to some of the outlying villages or even to the coast. This package was excellent value. Although unique and interesting with the exception of the dining room the remainder of the hotel is rather tired and in need of a little tlc. We were travelling by car, we chose this hotel as private parking feature in the hotel facilities. Beware there are 6-7 spaces which were always full. The first night we had to park 5 minutes away as there is nothing else nearby. Although wireless internet is also advertised throughout the hotel we could not connect, like others, without going to the bar-restaurant. There is a nice small lounge, however if you don't smoke you would not wish to sit in here. |

It is a very cute hotel with a lot of flair. The food in the restaurant is very good. It is ca 20 Minutes walking to the centrum of Brugge. From the description I understood it would be much closer. |

Location. The bathroom was very smelly and the rooms were much smaller than I anticipated. |

De Barge was a really unusual place to stay - A floating hotel. We really enjoyed our time there. We had dinner in the restruant, which was superb. A little pricey prehaps but the food was well worth it. Our room was very comfortable and overlooked the canal. Would recommend this hotel for those who like quirky places and don't mind a bit of a walk into town (although well worth it for the quiet location and uniqueness) |

The setting of the hotel was different to most city hotels, being on the water, but with easy access through pleasant parks to the centre. The restaurant was excellent. |

The hotel is in a good location. It was fun watching the ducks swim by the hotel window. The breakfast was good with many choices. It was not air conditioned and it got a little warm in the room in the middle of the summer! The fan helped, but if you left the window open then bugs would fly in the room. |
