Our second visit - we stayed in early May 2009 also. This time we went to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. The friendliest welcome, a (free) bottle of champagne in our room, the most central location - what more can you say? |

Thoroughly professional. Welcoming, efficient, helpful staff throughout the hotel. A good breakfast, a clean, comfortable room and a well-placed hotel beside the cathedral and the grote markt. The reception staff even remembered my wife's birthday and we found a surprise bottle of Luxembourg wine in our room! |

Good location, comfortable bed and usual buffet breakfast Small room, small bed, low ceiling, quick to overheat, cheap fixtures and fittings, low sink and ambient smell drains/canal. |

The location, in the town center, was conducive to walking to shops and restaurants,and just near the cathedral and art galleries. The staff was pleasant, breakfast was substantial. We had a front room with a cathedral view. Paid parking was several blocks away, but underground and safe. |

We were a group of 6 from Norway visiting Mechelen and a local friend suggested we try this charming and very central family-hotel. Location was excellent and very handy next to town square. Breakfast served in nice glassed-in breakfastroom next to small cozy garden area. Very friendly and polite staff. |

Good location nice rooms excelent resturant internet connection Seems that no one is in the lobby most of the time... house keeping could do a better job cleaning the room |

Very user friendly and in a wonderful location. The staff did everything possible to make our stay wonderful. Although they provided room service, it was very easy to stop by the restaurant, pick up your food/drink and take it back to your room. We would definitely like to go back to this hotel. |

By mistake I had booked for two persons, which I realized when I came home. By checking in I highlighted that I was by myself but the booking was not changed. At checking in I was not aware that I had booked for two but I got a drink voucher for two so I asked. |

They insisted to take a copy of both my passport and my credit card - including the 3 digit number from the back of the card. This made me very uncomfortable and in future I would refuse to do this. It is very insecure and totally unnecessary in my opinion. |

Very quite.Surprised that hotel was locked after 19.00 although they advertise bar and brassire open till 23.00/24.00 on Sunday evening place deserted by 19.00. Poor breakfast, Our room was not cleaned or bathroom towels changed, when I questioned this problem, was told that never happens. Later I received call telling me that the room was not serviced because of card on door the card on door said please clean room as wittenesed by my partner because when we returned at noon rechecked the card as room was not cleaned and we though that they were very busy |
