My Wife and I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions over the years and have always found it welcoming and relaxing. In fact, it is almost like a second home where we both feel comfortable and welcome. The attached restaurant is the domain of Philippe, husband of Hilde the hotelier, where we have enjoyed many Belgium dishes and have delighted in the choice and quality of the meals. In short, the hotel is just a short walk from the Markt and historic town centre and an ideal base to explore this delightful city. We would thoroughly recommend it. In common with almost all other continental hotels tea and coffee making facilities are not provided in the rooms. However, when in Rome ......

We liked the Hotel and its location. Although we feared it was a bit out of the way, it isn't at all: Bruges is a tiny plqce and walking to the centre or attractions of interest wasn't a problem. There's bus stop round the corner which can take to and from the rail station. The hotel is comfortable, quite, it's got friendly staff but without overdoing it and breakfast is plentiful as a buffet with great soft boiled eggs. This isn't a complain, just a slight note. If you don't like narrow and steep stairs, or have walking difficulties, this hotel is not for you: There is no lift, qnd itùs tricky to get tot he top floor witht he luggqge but the views fro,t he top room is worth it though. We were also expecting a double bed but got two singles together. Not the end of the world but some people may be bothered by that.

Charming, small hotel in a tradional building, set in an attractive square opposite the church. 10 minutes walk to the centre. Offstreet parking, just round the corner, available if reserved.

Comfortable beds, reasonably clean room (except for some marks on the walls) Location not so close to the center, inadequate breakfast (almost no variety for eggs, cheese and salami, bad tea/coffee), cramped room (photos may mislead you!), cramped stairs, bad money for value. Look for other hotels that are closer to the Markt.

Great location, only a short walk to the city center. Very pretty hotel and very clean. Delicious breakfast. Very picturesque view of a church from our room but this also meant waking up at 8am by the church bells! We got use to it though and it's part of the experience.

`Prima ligging. Goed bereikbaar. Mooie hotelkamer. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer, die zeer behulpzaam waren. Prima ontbijt en zij hebben een uitstekend restaurant naast de deur. Een prima aanrader voor een weekend Brugge.

Vriendelijk personeel, nette kamer en nieuwe badkamer, heerlijk eten voor een schappelijke prijs in het restaurant van de familie. Mooie ontbijtzaal. Zacht bed, kleine kamers, restaurant oogt ietwat kantineachtig. Bij het ontbijt had er wel iets meer keuze in beleg mogen zijn.

Het kleine, ietwat oude, maar zeker gezellig charme/familiehotel gaf ons een gevoel alsof we thuis waren. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. De vernieuwde en mooie badkamer, het lekkere ontbijt en de fijne ontvangst hebben ons verblijf aangenaam gemaakt.

Prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Net hotelletje. Te weinig warm water. Vriendin had in het begin nog een warme douche, maar voordat ze haar haar had ingezeept, was het warme water op. Ik had dus helemaal en koude douche. Dat kan in een hotel niet.

Charmant hôtel. Calme la nuit et le jour. Les lits sont confortables et nous avons bien dormi. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. A seulement 5 min de la grand place. Accueil agréable aussi. Pas d'ascenseur
