It is a pretty hotel in a quiet yet convenient situation, it is only a few minutes walk to the town centre with several sights of interest on the way. Although it is quite inexpensive it is clean and well presented. We have stayed at the hotel once before and if we should visit again we may choose the same hotel. Although it was December and cold outside, the bedrooms were a bit too warm at night. The bathrooms are a little cramped but ok for a budget hotel. |

The homeliness of the place. The hostess was great and saw to us professionally and in a friendly fashion. Lovely and quiet in the locality. Not too near the touristy bits but close enough to walk. The owners restaurant around the corner is good and convenient. The stair are a trifle steep. If you are somewhat handicapped it would be difficult to mount the stairs. Mind you it would be a hell of a walk to the centre of Bruges. |

good renovated shower-room, quiet street close to a bus stop very small room (suits one person), no elevator, unsatisfying breakfest, 15 minutes walk from town-center. couldn't accept our credit card (fairly enough the took us to the A.T.M) |

It suited my short visit. It provided me with what I needed for the night. Noisy floorboards. Once any other occupants moved above us, it was quite loud. |

The hotel is ideally situated a short walk from the main square The hotel reception is not open and you are required to go to a local resturant to gain access to the hotel. The owner did'nt seem to know we were coming although when she checked her reservations we were there!! She did'nt seem very pleased to see us. |

The updated bathrooms were very nice. I also enjoyed the breakfast. The pillows were uncomfortable and it was warm in the rooms (our stay was in July); they could use fans. |

A great, "best buy" 8-room hotel, one of four located in a quiet residential neighborhood around St. Gilliskerk, about 10-minute walk from the Market Place. Only one nearby restaurant, Oud Handbogenhof, which is owned by the same couple and serves excellent traditional Flemish food at 1/2 to 2/3'ds the cost of other Bruges restaurants. The only shortcoming was minor: the pillows were a little insubstantial and lumpy. |

A very need and cosy hotel. Breakfast was good and they were prepared to give us an earlier breakfast, because we had a train to catch. The hotel is a bit far from the station when you travel by train. |

The room itself was very nice and cosy. The bed is very comfortable and the toilet has been fully refurbished. However, I must say that I ran out of hot water while having a long shower. The hotel is okay but there aren't any common areas, so you jst have to stay in your room. Breakfast was quite poor and drinks were only served by the owner just once. If you are planning to leave your luggage there and then pick it up before leaving the city, be aware that the owners will give you a time slot and you will have to stick to it. There isn't a 24 hour reception service. |

Good quiet location, about 5 minutes walk from the centre. Friendly staff. Breakfast fine; range of breads, cheese, ham, boiled egg, yoghurt, cereals. Room looked like it had been recently enlarged. Bathroom was a good size, but shower and toilet were rather small. |

Lovely little hotel, in a quiet area of Bruge, but only a short walk into the main town square. There is also a bus from the station that will drop you around the corner from the hotel. The room was sooo comfortable, and had one of the best showers I've ever had. The staff were attentive & helpful. |

A comfortable, friendly place in a beautiful part of the old city. Only a few minutes' walk from the the restaurants and shops. The Christmas markets had just begun and the lighting and atmosphere were magical. |
