The owner, she is really great and lovelly person (the opposite of her husband!!).

The smell of the bedroom was a mixture of mold. Another really bad thing was the antipathy and rudeness of the owner.

The staff was very friendly and approachable. They were willing to assist with directions and questions regarding Bruges. The breakfast was unexpectedly nice!

The only criticism I have regarding the Hotel de Paux, is the lack of advertised "free" wifi. Most the time, the so called free wifi do not work. When we asked about it, we were told that it was unavailable at night because of children. That didnt make any sense! Friends of ours, were staying a few blocks away, and they had no trouble with their wifi, even at night!

My Wife and I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions over the years and have always found it welcoming and relaxing. In fact, it is almost like a second home where we both feel comfortable and welcome. The attached restaurant is the domain of Philippe, husband of Hilde the hotelier, where we have enjoyed many Belgium dishes and have delighted in the choice and quality of the meals. In short, the hotel is just a short walk from the Markt and historic town centre and an ideal base to explore this delightful city. We would thoroughly recommend it.

In common with almost all other continental hotels tea and coffee making facilities are not provided in the rooms. However, when in Rome ......

Great location, only a short walk to the city center. Very pretty hotel and very clean. Delicious breakfast.

Very picturesque view of a church from our room but this also meant waking up at 8am by the church bells! We got use to it though and it's part of the experience.

Accueil par le fils des propriétaires car ils étaient absents lors de notre arrivée (ils ont un restaurant à l'autre coin de la rue et y sont pour les services du midi et du soir). Le fils était bien au courant de nos demandes et tout était prévu (emplacement sécurisé pour les motos). Petit hotel familial de 8 chambres (3 ch. Au 1er étage, 3 ch. Au 2ème étage & 2 ch. Sous toit au 3ème étage). Chambres assez petites mais d'une propreté impeccable. Bonne literie (lit de 160cm). Salle de bains assez étroite mais fonctionnelle. Hotel situé juste en face de l'église et nombreuses places de parking gratuites tout autour de l'église. Aucune nécessité de louer un emplacement de parking car c'est en dehors du centre et c'est très très calme comme quartier.

Le tapis-plein et le thasso (papier peint) dans notre chambre étaient un peu vieillot. Les sols sont en plancher donc.... On entend le moindre mouvement des chambres de l'étage du dessus. Assez mauvaise insonorisation entre les chambres du même étage également.

Belle situation et ambiance calme. Très bons contacts avec le personnel. Déjeuner extra.

L'accueil, qui s'apparente à celui d'une chambre d'hôte. Situé dans une rue très calme mais aussi à 5 mn à pied du centre. Parking possible pour 10 euros par jour. Propreté des lieux, salle de bain quasi neuve. Petit déjeûner copieux et oeuf à la coque

Hele goede services, uitstekend en uitgebreid ontbijt. Je voelt je hier echt thuis.

Ottima colazione a buffet. Le stanze non sono molto grandi, ma pulite ed accoglienti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Buona vicinanza dal centro

Eski şehire yürüyerek 5 dakika mesafede. Odaları çok sevimli. Cok güzel bir klisenin karşısında yer alıyor. Fiyat-Kalite dengesi bizim için çok uygun oldu. Keyifle konakladık.
