Score from 430 reviews Excellent
Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff, good wi-fi
Noise and dust from works within hotel, small room, bathroom is ok but a bit shabby and small.
Noisy , small rooms
It was convenient for Hasselt Centre and the staff were helpful. It is good value for money.
The Hotel needs refurbishment it is getting a little tatty.
-perfect location near center -room has everything we needed for a short night, no luxury but well equiped -very good price -late check out time
cheap breakfast was ok
the rooms are small the rooms are noisy (thin walls) we could hear the neighbours talk and later, snore
Location - easy walk from rail station and very central. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Warm and clean.
Room small and doesn't include a fridge, kettle etc. but that is why it is such a reasonable cost. Breakfast was nice but quite expensive.
As above, central location good. Cleanliness good. Breakfast ok, but not up to the standard that I we expected.
No tea/ coffee making facilities in room. Cooked breakfast not as good as expected. We would not stay at an Ibis again if an alternative was available. This includes in the U K.
The staff rose way beyond the call of duty: incommensurate with this hotel's 2 stars, they were great. A big "bravo" to the management for achieving this. Also, good location and useful parking.
You get what you pay for, so I can't complain about the fact that the facilities are pretty basic and quite depressing.
Everything you need!
Central location - parking on site, only 6 spaces so be quick and good at getting in and out of a tight spot
Looked old and tired and in need of re-fit
Location was excellent: walking distance to the city centre with its shops and restaurants.
Difficult to find the 'free-of-charge public parking nearby' as was indicated on the website. This actually meant street-side parking and it was difficult to find an empty space. The rooms are outdated but we heard that the hotel will soon start renovation works. Good news.
Teh staff in reseption was very halpful and friendly and they did do all they best to service customers. To the hotel management I would like to say that take care of the equiment which are in hotelrooms that they function. Women need hairdryers, in all hotelrooms should be hairdryers. If some hotelguest is so stupid that takes a hairdryér to her self, send an invoice after her.
Television didn't work because all distanceequiment were broken. The reseption employees could change the batteries if hotelmanagement only aloud that.
Perfect position for the Centre and the Station. It works really well as a base.
Room a little on the small side
Very small rooms, noisy from the street. Only one elevator, which is really not enought for so many travellers. So expensive breakfast where is almost nothing for that amount.
Carpet dirty with stains Noisy neighbouring rooms
Trouble was the key card, but it was fixed my frontman work hard.
Hotel staff had cancelled my confirmed reservation through 'Booking.com', and then told me that I was "lucky as they just had 1 single room left" !! To add insult to injury, when I wanted to have a drink in my room I only found 2 plastic cups, and had to go to reception and ask for a proper glass. All this 'service' and they charge 80 euro. The very basic "buffet breakfast" is also a joke at 14 euro !! Other Ibis hotels have similar at only 9 euro, which is also overpriced. By Ibis uniform standards, this hotel is for 1 night overflow needs only. Avoid.
Close to centre, easy to get around
Quite small rooms but suited as as only a place to sleep
Convenient for the shopping streets, Grote Markt and restaurants. Walking distance from Hasselt station. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Comfortable, clean and good value for money.
Excellent location Great value for money
Small room (stayed 7 nights) Ok for 1/2 nights
Breakfast was really good: a lot of choice, fresh fruit, tranquil to sit.
The room was very basic. For example, the bathroom was very small.
Excellent place to book for a budget citytrip.
The rooms don't look very modern. The bathroom is quite small.
key card don't work and couldn't be replaced do to computer proplems.
Nothing fancy but correct
Incredibly hot duvets on a warm summer (spring) night.
The staff were friendly and housecleaning attended everyday.
The Wi-Fi was worst in this hotel.
