Calm, Incredible forest view from room, Good facilities, staff and breakfast
Restaurant or Brasserie! Very high prices for standard dishes. Nice Spa but to small for the hotel
Facilities were great with easy access to the forest (and the walking paths). Confortable beds. Great service at the breakfast.
Unfriendly and arrogant staff at reception. Dirty baby cot with a broken side.(you pay a fee for getting one, so you expect perfection here). Cutleries missing from room service (small things, but they get to irritate you have too many).
Quiet, and refined. Very modern with lovely rooms and a bed so comfy I would have loved to take home! The pool area and sauna were clean and welcoming. Set in substantial grounds. Only 6 km from Waterloo. Which is well worth a visit.
A bit pricey.
We have been here for conference, place is very good, nice park, but big problem was how to get here from airport - extremly high prices for taxi (may it is problem overall in Bruxelles...)
It is a relaxing hotel in a wooded area. Everything is modern and comfortable and despite being senior citizens would certainly return.
The walk from the car park to reception, although there is another entrance it is not displayed, but we did use it on our departure. The position of the television, which is high on the wall and, most uncomfortable to watch from bed or chair.
This is a great place to escape Brussels and enjoy a quiet and relaxing weekend in the nature settings, with spa, good resto etc.
It was too hot in the room during the night!
Very polite and helpful staff, fantastic room, easy access from Brussels, great all night taxi service, breakfast was extra, and quite pricey but comprehensive and really good quality. Definitely recommending to others. Our go-to hotel for another Brussels visit
There's quite a good selection of options for eating and drinking. The food was pretty good
Whilst the hotel is good for a retreat it is isolated- getting out of the hotel without a car was horrifically expensive so if you want to get out and about have a car
The location is exceptional; within five minutes you can wander and wonder in a very impressive forest. Wellness facilities are excellent as well
The setting is really scenic. The hotel is beautifully decorated.
The room and wellness facilities could be cleaner. In particular, the wellness needs a serious check, with many faucets not working. No staff present in wellness reception confused everybody waiting!
nature spa dinner room terras at swimming pool
prices service at registration desk suggest access to promotion when extra buy ( as promotion ran at same reservation days)
the environment, room, breakfast
Top Service Good facilities - Spa, pool, rooms great breakfast
Restaurant much too expensive for only average quality meals
I thought the hotel was well decorated with high quality furnishings. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
I found it difficult to follow the signs (outside and inside) to find my way around. There was no porter available the morning of our departure to bring our baggage from the room.
Double bed with single duvet
attitude of staff cost of breakfast & drinks
The comfort of the room and the food in the Brasserie.
The distance from the car park to reception. No offer of help with luggage. It was wet and I had just had spinal surgery and was unable to carry baggage. It was embarrassing to watch my wife struggling with our bags.
Only 2 small milks with tea/coffee facilities! Not enough bar staff for large crowd (numbers known in advance)
I liked the setting. The forest, the quietness of the place.
I did not like that it is a spa. Seeing people in bath robes walking on the corridors back and forth is an experience...The pool was disappointing: cold water. Also, there were quite a good number of couples showing PDA. Difficult for my 10 year old daughter, she was asking me where to look to not look at these couples. Not a place to take your kids. The bistro food is very good, but the prices are overrated. Paid 9 euro for a bottle of 1 L SPA Water...sounds unbelievable. The feeling of a cantina in the morning at breakfast: lots of people, not too much charm.
It was a great find! A lovely location for a forest walk!
The food in the buffet dinner was just ok. I thought it was quite expensive for the children 20euro and not a lot of selection.
The rooms very spacious The reception staff is very professional The location is a must; in the middle of the forest of Soignes
The choice of restaurants is poor. The staff at the restaurant is not friendly
I loved everything about this hotel. The service was excellent. A particular mention to Nicolas on reception and also to the guys in the bar. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The food was also good.
The hotel was a little isolated but we liked this. It was peaceful, had great walks and cycling routes and was a short drive away from shops and restaurants.
I liked the setting a lot. There is a forrest around the hotel, which makes this location just awesome. Not far from the hotel, walking distance, you can find a castle with a beautiful open space. What we liked also is that this location is just 25 min from Brussels. Inside there was a swimming pool, gym, sauna, opening time from 8AM-11PM. It was really a great experience which we all had.
We needed some flotters for swimming for my daughter, unfortunitely that was not available, but the Manager which i spoke promised me to have that in place as soon as possible.
The trail around the hotel is lovely to go with kids. Plenty of space. Feeling of relax! Pool (though a bit small, nice for the kids). Nide pizzeria at LaHulpe
Despite of providing information via booking.com about number and age of children and being asked again oer email by the hotel, when arriving nothing had been arranged in the room for them (though they prepared it in 10 minutes). Long queu at 15:00h for check-in and in the morning for the check out.
I stayed at DolceLaHulpe as part of an Open University Meeting, which worked very well for us due to the business facilities of the hotel. I would recommend the location to my company for future meetings.
