Domaine Des Hautes Fagnes  

We had dinner at the hotel and it was delicious. Also, the service was excellent, food came quickly and staff very friendly and helpful.

We ordered the food package at 25€/person and on check-out, it appeared 35€/person (the 2nd package, which we did not order). when we pointed this out, the receptionist quickly adjusted the price back to 25 without even questioning. The price for slippers is never mentioned, but the hotel will add 2€/person if you ask for them. Always check your bill very very carefully.

There were plenty of things to do with my 7 and 5 year old girls, the pool and jacuzzi were super although the restriction on the childrens' access to the pool was limiting for us. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Lovely surroundings and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Excellent cuisine and very quite location in the beautiful hautes fagnes

We liked the wellness the best; nice welcoming, good and professional treatment and advice; friendly and correct. Small group but that made us feel comfortable in this -for us first- experience. The wellness gave us the feeling of a bit of luxury, where the hotel itself could not give that impression.

Simple rooms; no heating on at arrival; no cosy restaurant room; the restaurant gave only a very limited menu; the service was too fast and strict ('eat and go'); the quality of the food was just ok; nothing more.

20 euro extra for dog, ridiculous

Wij kozen dit hotel omwille van de uitstekende ligging: er zijn veel mooie MTB-routes in de onmiddellijke omgeving. Het interieur beviel ons ook: mooi gerenoveerde kamers, uitstekende matrassen, nette badkamer. Heel rustig gelegen. Na een dagje fietsen konden we 's avonds genieten van de wellness-faciliteiten: zaaaalig! Heel vriendelijk personeel aan het onthaal.

Wij boekten kamer met ontbijt. Bij aankomst werd ons het diner aangeboden. Wij hebben dit aangenomen maar daar kregen we spijt van. We hebben ons om 20u30 aangemeld in het restaurant (keuze tussen service van 18u30 of 20u30) maar konden pas veel later aan tafel. De bediening was een ramp: de kelners liepen door de zaal als kippen zonder kop, niemand wist van elkaar af. De zaalbediening was slecht georganiseerd. De andere avonden dineerden we buiten het hotel. Het ontbijt daarentegen was uitstekend: heel uitgebreid en rustig in de zaal.

Prachtige welness afdeling, zéér proper. Het eten is supergoed, uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet...Heel vriendelijk personeel, zéér gedienstig en wij werden overal in het nederlands verder geholpen

Wij logeerden in een vrij grote kamer, met toch wel 'verouderd' meubilair, en behang dat niet echt beantwoord aan de vereisten voor een 4-sterrenhotel anno 2011

Les massages et le centre wellness.

Le manque d'essuies et de peignoir de bain dans la chambre. Le fait de devoir utiliser les essuies de la chambre pour la piscine est compliqué parce qu'ils sèchent difficilement (pas de sèche serviettes mural dans la salle de bain). Pour un hôtel qui annonce 4 étoiles, je trouve qu'on devrait disposer automatiquement d'un peignoir et de pantouffles et d'essuies en suffisance pour profiter plainement du centre wellness et de la piscine.

We zijn héél goed ontvangen, vooral de tweetaligheid was een echt pluspunt. De kamers waren goed, en hygiene was niets op aan te merken. De massages waren uitstekend, relaxerend. Het totaal van het hotel was zeer goed, iedereen deed zijn uiterste best. Het ontbijt was goed, en verzorgd.

Het avondeten, wat wij eenmaal gebruikt hebben, viel ons een beetje tegen. We hadden iets meer verwacht van het zwembad, het was vrij primitief, en had weinig te bieden. De jaccuzi werkte maar half.De zonnebank had bij de prijs inbegrepen mogen zijn.

Très bel hôtel dans un cadre merveilleux.Le personnel, très compétent, est aimable et très attentionné. Je remercie toute l'équipe de l'accueil et de la gentillesse. J'y retournerai bientôt avec plaisir.

Le buffet petit-déjeuner généreusement fourni et proposant des produits bio, le personnel et particulièrement celui du spa.
