Superb value for money, clean and modern rooms with great bathroom. Very attentive hotelier; fabulous food quality for the money (Paid three times the price the night before for a meal that was half as good). Recommend to anyone!

The helpful and friendly reception, prompt contact per email after a question, the general outlook of the hotel and the very nice room I had. I was really happy about my stay there and would definitely recommend it. The food in the restaurant was marvelous and the breakfast buffet worth every single cent. Having a multilingual host would be a benefit to most guests and was a pleasurable experience for me. Nothing springs to mind. Other reviewers commented on the location out of town in an industrial estate. There's a glassfibre factory nearby which wasn't a distraction to me and I found the hotel well signposted. Really, the place was well kept and has nice grounds itself. Nothing to complain about a hotel in that category.

This is a quirky hotel with a great many artistic touches. Our room was clean and adequate for a couple of nights, but was also dark and facing on to a road with a goods depot on the other side, so impossible to leave the window open due to noise. We could have wished for a larger room, perhaps on the ground floor at the side or back, but as it was only for two nights it was okay. We had an event dinner there on Saturday evening and the catering was wonderful, the food very delicious. Breakfast was a very good buffet with endless coffee, tea etc. The "modern" side of this hotel (presumably a converted older house) was of a wonderful and interesting design. I can see that for any conferences or events this would be a good choice. Our room was on the small side and quite dark, even with the lights on.

We stayed at this hotel as we had tickets to go to the Belgium Grand Prix, excellent situation (30 minute drive to track) and plenty of parking. Excellent food (we ate at the hotel every night of our stay because the food and restaurant was so good). Really nice friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend for anytime of year.

Kind and courteous staff, very eager to please. Excellent food in the immaculately clean restaurant, beautifully presented and clearly cooked with care and attention to detail. Plenty of breakfast choices in the well stocked buffet each morning. The hotel isn't brilliantly located, being close to an industrial complex and was tricky to find due to road works and diversions, with key access points apparently blocked off by barriers, which we soon learnt to ignore! Once inside however, the gardens easily make up for any disappointment about the wider surroundings.

The location was and the rooms were clean and a good size. The best aspect of the hotel though was the excellent food. The inclusive breakfast was excellent with a wide range of cold foods and some hot. The evening set menu we had was also very good and reasonable value for money. None

I loved everything about the place! The only disadvantage this lovely hotel has is it's location on a road that cuts through a factory industrial estate. Credit to the owners, they have tried to make the grounds and the hotel itself an oasis in stark contrast to the buildings around. Our room was lovely, extremely spacious with a fab bathroom and will probably contend as one of the best we have stayed in. The hotel is beautifully appointed with a bright and airy breakfast room and a superb restaurant. There was a good range of food in the buffet breakfast and everything was very fresh and nicely prepared. The food offered for evening meals draws on local traditional dishes but the standard of the cuisine and the presentation of each dish was excellent. Overall, we had a great experience staying here, the staff were courteous and very friendly. If, like us, you are wanting a nicely appointed hotel within close proximity to the main auto routes to get to the Spa-Francorchamps race circuit, I would thoroughly receommend the Domaine du Haut Vent. Only a minor criticism of the surrounding area and this really is not the fault of the hotel owners. There is nothing within the immediate vicintity other than factory/industrial units, although the hotel makes up for this with its lovely grounds and interior appointment. Battice is a small town and can be walked to from the hotel, although you would have to know where you were going throughout the myriad of factory side roads. It wasn't assisted by the poor Belgian road signs detailing a detour around the side roads due to road works on the main Rue de Maastricht where the hotel is situated. That said, under normal circusmtances it is probably quite easy to reach once you come off the motorway from Liege or Verviers, and we had no real issues getting in and out of town on the days of the Grand Prix events.

Very hospitality and friendly owner. Big clean rooms with large bath rooms. The breakfast is yummy. Everything is perfect. Without any doubt we will choose to stay the same hotel if we visit the same area. Thank the owner of the hotel again, a very kind gentleman.

Nicely designed rooms, calm of the location, parking nearby , nice full breakfast, restaurants nearby (5 min car), modernity and location in the countryside The area might look strange as it's an industrial zone but a lot of trees are around and this ensures you quite a lot of calm. Lack of flexibility of reception hours (until 20:00 only) and some staurs might cause problem to those disabled (or with huge suitcases!)

Excellent rooms. Friendly service - the manager booked us in elsewhere for dinner as his restaurant was closed that night (and the alternative was very good). It has a slightly strange reception arrangement - ring a bell outside a locked door and wait until someone comes. This would be unpleasant in poor weather.

Delicious buffet breakfast. Too bad that the couple that travelled with us had to go to another hotel because our hotel was overbooked. The receptionist had some excuse about the police claiming a room, but we didn't buy that.

- On a envie d'y retourner ! ... - La salle à manger manque un peu de clarté. Ceci n'est pas une réclamation mais un simple avis ou conseil.
