Superb breakfast in beautiful surroundings . Atmosphere and decoration of middle 20th century. A nice lady manager.

From parking towards the entrance , instead of a brick path or asphalt, there is just soil turning to mud under any rain -24/7 ! The room could be treated a more detailed cleaning. Route to Brugges jammed in rush hours.

Where do I have to start? The location & environment is fantastic. It feels like you enter an fairytale Tim Burton movie when you arrive. It is an extatic old charming castle with a very nice garden. The B&B is run by a couple who bought the building and restored it completely keeping the original style. Secondly the welcoming. The woman welcomed us warmly and gently. We felt like we arrived in a very familiar place. Thirdly the accomodations. Each room has its very own personal character and 'fits' exactly the entire picture. Quality of bed, accomodation in the bathroom is perfect. Privacy is at its max. While other guests were there, it felt like we were the only ones there. Breakfast is standard but good and meets all expectations. Bottom line: 10/10. This B&B ends up in my top 5 favourites!!!!!

Nothing! Everything was perfect to me!

Booked this property as seemed full of character and wasn't disappointed. Lovely furniture, spacious family room, extensive grounds, peaceful. Breakfast was generous, even proper English tea!!Good idea to have communal room with fridge for guests use and good value mini bar. Excellent out of town base with easy car drive to coast, Bruges and Ghent. Very friendly host who speaks good English.

Corridors and landing were not well lit/bit dingy.A better selection of fruit for breakfast would have been appreciated, also milk in the rooms for use when making tea/coffee. Be warned-we were bitten lots by mosquitoes the first night when we left the window open.

The family room was spacious with 2 comfortable double beds. There is a small communal kitchenette which was useful for storing baby milk and there was also a small selection of drinks on sale. There was a huge amount of information available about local attractions

Although the garden was lovely, the play area was a little jaded and could do with a refresh
