Westhoek is in the dunes just outside Nieuwpoort-aan-Zee, half a mile from the beach. It has extensive recreational facilities and a bar with a spacious terrace. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was quiet yet near the beach and other facilities. Breakfast was excellent and dinner was beautifully and freshly cooked. A very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. For the price charged I would normally expect tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Dinner options could be explained better as, having booked bed and breakfast, it was assumed I wanted a la carte in the restaurant while I would have preferred the buffet. It would have been helpful to have a TV guide or operating instructions. But these are small, hopefully helpful, criticisms of an excellent hotel.

Ontbijt was dik ok, en dame die het ontbijt verzorgde was heeeel vriendelijk, dat mag dan ook gezegd worden. Erg onvriendelijk personeel, bij inchecken had ik niet gelezen dat personeel in koffiepauze was, toen ik vroeg of ik kon inchecken werd ik afgesnauwd dat ze pauze had . Leuke verwelkoming, met 3kinderen die doodop waren. In het babybedje lag nog een tutje en haarrekker van vorige reiziger. Personeel in algemeen heel onvriendelijk.

Un accueil chaleureux et en français. Situation calme, en pleine nature. Chambre spacieuse. Très propre. Repas au bistro délicieux. Serveuse très sympathique. 3 fois en 6 ans qu'on y allait. On y retournera.

La situation/ la disponibilité du personnel d'accueil / le parking aisé/ les petits déjeuners / les équipements (ping-pong,...) Les remarques désobligeantes d'une responsable de salle au petit déjeuner à l'égard d'une des stagiaires/ employées. Le fait qu'une des chambres n'était pas nettoyée à notre arrivée... Changement sans problème

La chambre était spacieuse et correpondait à notre réservation booking. Tout y était propre et fonctionnait parfaitement bien - Le petit-déjeuner : les tables du petit-déjeuner déjà utilisées ne sont pas débarassées ni préparées pour les autre clients, pas assez de choix, pas de remplacement des aliments manquants. - Mauvaise insonorisation des chambres, bruit du système de chauffage quand il est allumé; -Chambres faites à partir de 16h

Uitstekende ligging, in de duinen en niet ver van het strand. Voor te winkelen ben je op 10 minuutjes in Nieuwpoort. Alles was zeer netjes en de kamer had voldoende ruimte voor twee. Ontbijt was ook lekker, je kon uw eitjes zelf bakken, veel variatie van brood,zelfs rozijnen en suikerbrood.Personeel vriendelijk. De gratis parking was ook een pluspunt.

De ligging. Er was een stroompanne ten gevolge waarvan het ontbijt bestond uit enkel water en brood (+beleg) ; geen koffie, thee noch fruitsap. Tweemaal hebben we er 's avonds niet kunnen eten wegens geen plaats, gelukkig bestaat de kusttram.
