Good sized room! English TV.
Bath room slightly tired
Very friendly and helpful staff. Free wifi. Very clean.
Small shower area.
The hotel is a bit old
Excellent location Bed size
Shower & toilet amenities Bed mattress
Photos actually does not reflect reality. A room with a toilet and shower is part of the bedroom. Blown blanket on the bed. Unpleasant odor upon entering the room. Price did not match the quality of the room.
The position, which is very close to the EU parliament and in a very quiet area. The room was quite spacious (but the bathroom was quite small).
The bathroom was quite filthy and small. The carpet was disgusting (dirty). The bed was so so but didn't look that clean either (I mean, the mattress). No elevator, and my room was in the 3rd floor. The staff was alternating being very friendly to being quite disturbing. Totally not worth the 110 euros/night I payed.
Very close to the EU institutions
Lack of necessary things e.g. elevator (instead narrow stairs), the room is too small, no wardrobe (only a tab for coats), no shelves, and even a towel rack was not equipped in the shower cabin. Even a 10 minute delay of check out was disturbed by knocking in every 3 minutes.
the location near to the parliament
old building needs renovation
A very nice family feel hotel which for the location is great value for money. Seriously all these people who have left very negative feedback really need to stop looking for bargains and pay for 4 or 5 star hotels which their high standards obviously demand. If you are after a decent central-ish room location at a snip of the high prices of what the local big chain hotels are charging and you are open minded enough not to have huge expectations on what you get for what you pay, then this is a recommended choice. I would stay here again.
Yes, if there was one complaint which was valid, the sound proofing of the rooms could be better. You could hear guests in the other rooms sometimes but it didn't bother me as I'm a heavy sleeper. I actually slept like a log all three nights. I do like a firm bed.
no elevator, but it's not terrible
Kind stuff at front. Cheap and good location.
Noisy, no elevator.
location room hair dresser
no free breakfast no elevator
the staff are friendly good value for money on breakfast
the tv was broken the heating did not work very well and was off when I arrived late in the evening bathroom very cold and basic
Normal hotel, nothing special
the bed was really hard, breakfast is not included
very old rooms and building
Very kind personel, I do not know which one we should thank the most! The coffee shop at ground floor is offering homemade snacks at good prices. Beds are very comfy! Very near the EU parliament, next to the Brussels Luxembourg train station, 50 meters to the bus stop, 6 mins walk to metro Tron (which is next to the Royal palace and the Parc de Bruxelles and to the surrounding museums). We kept walking to Grand Place very often, although the distance is around 20 min, if the weather allows it is a very pleasant walk, not too far.
If I would complain about something it would be the fact that the room was a bit small and the bathroom really tiny. Also we could hear everything from downstairs as there is no sound-proof door. But there was not much noise. Also I think it was expensive (I did get a half price offer for the room which was 50euro a night. This 50 euro in my opinion should be the standard price for this room).
Excellent location for those coming for sightseeing. Nice personnel.
No hot water from the tap in the bathroom, only from the shower.
Staff friendly, good breakfast, excellent location.
The cleanliness should be taken care of more. There were hairs lying in the rooms (not vaccuumed), and the bathroom was not dry and clean. There should be more space in the improvised bathrooms, no space to put legs when sitting on toilet, and I was standing against the plastic curtain in the shower because it was hanged too close to the exit.
Good location only 2 min away from Luxembourg S. Comfortable room.
Very thin breakfast.
The bed was terrible. The same with sound isolation. Would never book there again.
-Very good location. Right next door to the European. Great value for money for this area. EU Institutions and 5-10 mins walk away from the bus which takes you right to Brussels main airport. -Staff very helpful and friendly. -Room was basic but very large. It was clean, comfortable and had everything required for an overnight stay including a TV, hairdryer, shampoo etc. -Good Breakfast - Tea or coffee, orange juice, croissant, cheese, jam, butter and a couple of other bits of bread. -Plenty of places to eat nearby.
-Very noisy, mostly from the street outside. Even with the windows closed it was impossible not to hear the music from nearby bars thumping all night and people screaming. Taxi's and rubbish collection also made noise outside all night. Not the hotel's fault but definitely something to be aware of if you need a good night's sleep or a quiet stay. Could also hear noise from the corridor/ neighboring rooms. Take ear plugs!
Pleasant intelligent receptionist. Satisfactory breakfast.
Noise outside at 4/5 am - binmen?
Excellent location, quick staff Nice atmosphere
Flashing neon lights across the road Smelled smoke a couple of times Very thin walls Badly needs some renovation The room was really badly lit
