This was the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in - no noise from slamming doors and people talking etc. Best night's sleep I have ever had!
Room service menu is very limited, but I managed to get the cheese and smoked salmon to make up a gluten free meal.
We were celebrating our anniversary and were made very welcome by the staff. Was a lovely setting and would defiantly recommend to others.
There was no swimming pool, there was no milk in the mini bar and could not work out how to use the coffee machine as no instructions were present.
Staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Location was perfect. All round a great hotel.
Nothing to report.
Relaxing atmosphere with a great breakfast!
great staff..beautiful building
The building was beautiful, in a lovely location very central - short walk from the main square and just off one of the shopping streets. The bar was a nice atmosphere, with a good selection of inexpensive beers, wines & spirits, and the staff were very attentive in here. The room was comfortable and clean.
Unfortunately, the reception staff let us down a little. One gentleman in particular was not incredibly polite, and when he made a mistake with our luggage (Brought the wrong bags to us) he tried to tell us that this was the corresponding number as if he wanted us to take these people's bags that weren't ours. There was also a payment misunderstanding that he did not handle very well. Reception was often empty and we saw people standing around waiting for assistance for some time. To be fussy, the room was not very well stocked with coffee & tea (namely only one caffeinated coffee pod for two people...) and we did not receive a proper turn down service one of the evenings we were there.
The beds were so comfortable, the breakfast very good. The hotel decor was very tasteful and the hotel was in a great situation.
For the money the room was quite small. Room 516
Gorgeous hotel Free wifi Friendly staff Well located
Feel stupid for saying this but breakfast buffet is split into 2 rooms and not clearly signposted and I wasn't told anything - so paid full price for a breakfast only to fill up on a tiny part of it which I wasn't in the mood for!
The building is exceptional. Great meeting rooms. Lovely bar and lounge.
The location is excellent, the room was spacious and very clean. The spa was lovely , breakfast was very good. Overall the atmosphere is welcoming and plush. Very quiet and relaxing.
A personal preference: The bed was too soft for me and the pillow to high. Once I had a lower pillow it was comfortable enough , other wise the room was perfect.
The hotel is set in a beautiful old building. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. The bar is very cosy and welcoming with a good drinks list. Just a great experience in general. Did not want to leave!
The lack of free Wi-Fi. Unable to access my emails.
Everything. Our Duplex rooms were off the chapel and we had all the chapel area to ourselves which oozed history and was very emotive. The beds are really comfortable. Lunch on day one superb. The breakfast is one of the best in Bruges . A wonderful break. All four of us just wanted to stay.
I couldn't possibly complain but in being objective some would say the rooms we were in were a bit tired in the furnishings department. But hey L'Occitane toiletries were a great compensation !!!
Everything about it. Key was the extremely friendly, polite and happy staff which is a pleasure in this day and age. Breakfast was world class.
Nothing at all to find fault with.
Location in the centre of Bruges Style of furnishings throughout Room size and facilities Bathroom was stylish and spacious Shower was large and beautifully clean Breakfast was amazingly good, with so much variety. English TV channels available. Staff efficiency and friendliness made everything easy.
Great hotel, very friendly, would recommend this hotel to friends & family
Friendly helpful staff, location perfect, very clean luxury room .we will defiantly return
Shower need sorting goes from hot to cool to very hot reading other reviews this seems a common problem in this hotel but hey it's a small point
no sunday evening meal
Very helpful and accommodating staff, excellent service. Excellent room and delicious breakfast.
There is nothing to dislike about this hotel.
The hotel oozes luxury and class. We were upgraded to a junior suite room, which was wonderful. The staff were polite and attentive.Superb location.
There was a persistent, unpleasant smell in the corridor on the first floor. Keep an eye how much you are charged in the bar !
A really good example of a 5 star Hotel, offering courteous and helpful staff, comfort and warmth combined with excellent room service. Our bedroom was spacious with well appointed en-suite facilities, and a superbly comfortable bed. Excellent garage facilities, and situated within a short walk of the Brugge Market Square and shops.
Purely a personal thing - I prefer less "boisterous" pillows. They are ideal when sitting up in bed reading but not so comfortable when sleeping!.
Everything. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is yummy with a large choice and staff are always at hand to help!
Nothing to dislike!
Everything about the hotel, staff, location, food, room and customer service was excellent. If only all hotels in this category were as good.
Sense of being in a medieval castle.Really helpful staff.
Coffee machine in room not user friendly.
