The location is lovely and the chateau was lit up at night - and the view from the breakfast restaurant was very pretty. The pizza restaurant next door is wonderful for families ( we were there for family pre-Christmas celebration. Despite specifying two twin rooms on booking we were shown to two doubles on arrival. Reception took a long time to deal with things. Ground floor lift was not accessible on arrival because of a photo shoot in the bar so our elderly mother had to walk up stairs to the second floor lift. Her room - on the third floor - was at the furthest point from the lift! |

Nice setting, good restaurant. No atmosphere in the hotel bar - too many and bright lights. Every additional service overcharged - entry to the spa is an additional Euro 30,- p.p.; coffee in the room etc.A lack of space where breakfast is served. |

I enjoyed the setting, the breakfast, and the location close to historic sites. The windows did not open sufficiently to get air into the room with warm weather. |

The room was spacious and comfortable, very good beds andbathroom. The hotel has an excellent location att the side of the lake. There are several good quality and reasonably priced restauants nearby. We ate at the Italian restaurant where the staff made us feel very welcome, the meal was good quality and cheaper than breakfast the following morning, The cost of 26Euros for breakfast was extortinate for the mediocre quality and lack of choice, however the fresh fruit was good. Also the first time we have ever been charged for the privelege of making a cup of tea or coffee in the room at 3 Euros. Apparently a garden view consists of looking at a vertical bank of ivy approximately 4 metres from the window! |

Location nice near the lake, relaxing. Request NS room near elevator at quiet side.got room at end of corridor and building, telephone did not work, no view. Went back and asked other room, that was better. Coffeemachine in room nice, containing old coffee cups in there with nasty and rotten smell! Personnel at reception not very friendly. Check out procedure not smooth, employee asked several things 3 times. When going to Spa, you have to pay additional 30 Euro. Coming back there second day I was told that I had to pay separately for towels 1euro per piece, wheras day before I was told they were included! Only one sauna was opened, the hammam was closed This was not told when paying the fee. Tried to change booking, both at hotel and booking.com not easy to arrange. Left it. |

Point of visit was to be near family. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and commend you on all your staff, your hospitality and of course the value of our weekend. Only thing we felt could be improved upon is hot plates for hot food, also the english like their tea made with boiling water and fresh milk. Small points but valid for us |

Beautiful surroundings and nice restaurant Despite booking a superior double room was initially given a standard twin room (which was poor for a 3 star let alone 5 star hotel) and had to argue to get it changed. ridiculously overpriced breakfast, toiletries not replaced and limited info in room. Coffee machine and tv also did not work properly. |

Fantastic setting, quiet, relaxing, good service, very good breakfast. Cigarette ends left on the window ledge. Non smoking room clearly had been used for smoking. Room had a hint of smoking about it. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive at 26 Euro (room rate paid 90 Euro) |

Restaurant's food is very good, service can be improved. Yes, in Europe on the 21 century, is not normal that a 5 star hotel charges you extra money for internet access on the room neither that you have to pay 30€ to access the swiming pool... |
