This hotel, in a restored former farmhouse, offers boutique-style rooms and suites with extensive recreational facilities and a country club. Aspria is half a mile from Tomberg 2 Metro Station.

Everybody was friendly and the food was great. Being next to a lake made it more pleasant to stay at.
It was not coomunicated to the last staff member I met upon check out that breakfast was included in my room rate so there was an awkward moment but he took my word for it and didn't charge for the breakfast. I am thankful but it would have been nicer if that had been communicated. I was definitely told upon arrival that breakfast was included.
Nothing. Certainly not a five star hotel...
Decor of the hotel is tacky. 5 stars? Dirty corridors...smell of cigarettes. Glasses on the floor and by bedroom doors. Very small and overcrowded fitness club. Webpage looked quite nice. Deceiving publicity. very very noisy bedroom.expensive. this should be a 3 stars hotel...only god thing about it is location. Very disapointed. Will discourage anyone i know to go there.
location. The room was very good but needs a bit of refreshing.
nothing to say
Everything restaurant staff facilities and room are a credit to Martins Hotels
More coffee sachets needed in the bedroom but when asked they brought them immediately
Friendly staff, good food and very comfortable, well equipped room
Receptionnist Céline, overal friendly staff.
Many little details that don't fit, no napkins for our tapas in the bar, no rooms available when I called directly, spoke with Sarah and found all the rooms I wanted on Booking.com!!!
Staff was good.
There was a repeating noise in Room 140. Made it difficult to sleep.
The position by the lake was pleasant and the room was of a good size.
Marketed as a 5 star hotel - 4 at best as doesn't have that 'feel'; breakfast should be cooked to order at this level and price and staff service a bit too relaxed!
Location Decent restaurant
Patchy wifi Decor still tired
Staff were excellent. The location can't be faulted. Decor and layout of public rooms vet good. Lovely to see parts of the old chateau built into the hotel.
Rooms were big and well furnished but nothing exciting.
location is not bad but ask a room with view on the lake or you will have to live with artificial light even during sunny afternoon the room at the back are extremely dark
the overall look and maintenance of the hotel looks very old, feels like you back in 70' 80' 90' depending of the part of the hotel you are in. Pool is extremely small Conference room are old carpets are dirty seems not being maintained very well and needs for sure refurbishment. Room at the back are extremely dark.
Good staff Proximity to SWIFT La Hulpe HQ
All very good and excellent.
Location Hotel Somewhere we wanted to come again (which is what we did)
Dislikes are far far outweighed by the likes. Two slight niggles, though. Restaurant (one dinner) a bit pretentious and not quite up to the rest. Not enough space n the restaurant - too apt to get crowded.
Ok but expensive
Their website does not work very well.
Me, as a regular in your hotel, and my CEO were placed in an offsite accommodation, without proper Wi-Fi although we were listed as business guests. With a bad knee my CEO had to walk up a hill to find a room which was not what we are used to at the Chateau.
The location was beautiful, and the venue was also gorgeous.
Having traveled across Europe and having stayed in quite a few hotels, I was extremely impressed by the extremely poor customer service a five-star venue like this had to offer. I and my wife were invited for a wedding (she was to be the bridesmaid) and we had requested my suit and my wife's dress to be ironed, only to find that my shirt and the dress had been stained by the laundry service. After complaining, we were promised that it was going to be fixed by the next day (the wedding day!). The day after the Housekeeping Manager knocked at our door and showed us that the dress was now also burnt on a very visible spot and of course said that the burn was already there and that that part of the dress wasn't touched (strangely also the plastic bag covering the dress was burnt and melted) – because of course, a bridesmaid doesn't double-check her dress beforehand… Anyway, they were also unable to remove the stain from my shirt and offered me a replacement shirt (which was oversized, but I had to make do since the wedding was about to start). My wife ended up borrowing a dress from the bride (which was luckily of the right colour!) and due to all these delays we had to get a quite expensive taxi to get to the ceremony venue. Ironically, this doesn't end here: the wedding reception and dinner were taking place in the same hotel we were staying, so right after the ceremony we went back to the hotel for the drinks reception, and a waitress dropped a tray and spilled a glass of wine on my wife's dress and shoes – the waitress didn't even bother apologising. Also, throughout the dinner we were subjected to frowns and grumbles from the staff every time we requested anything… I think they wanted us to feel guilty for making them work so hard… Anyway, at the checkout we were also charged for the laundry service (!) at which point I had to ask for the manager.
Staff at bar and in restaurant unfriendly and not much interested in the guests and/or providing proper service Menu has changed à lot compared to the previous one; now rather restricted
Location-staff friendliness -room comfort-management attentions to the details.
It's a good location, very good breakfast and clean rooms. Staff are generally speaking friendly. So as a business hotel, good.
The welness is a poor thing, not for a 5star hotel making publicity for it. The swimming pool is nothing more than a big bathtube (and certainly not as the misleading picture that is on the website), and there are only 6 beds inside. Not easy if the hotel is fully booked, weather is as it mostly is in Belgium and more than 30 guests are in the facilities. And... it's as hot in the whole welness area as in the sauna. Honestly... it's certainly not a correct price/quality balance for this hotel, altough we do not request high expectations and even could take profit from a promotional price.
Location and View of Lake. Lovely Breakfast Lovely Spa
Rooms too hot Air Conditioning not working Bedrooms and bathrooms dated Whole hotel smelled of sewage Toilet blocked in our room
Amazing place and setting even though Castle part is a limited portion of building where reception and restaurant are:it's made of a huge annexe complex which looks like any anonymous international hotel, room I got was far off and with a dumb wiev on the bush.Nonetheless first class room up to its stars rating.
Upon booking the room I also booked a table at restaurant and despite I arrived right at estimated time they hadn't keept it!I complained and said that it was unacceptable for a place like that, they replied that it was a problem with booking.com procedure so I just pointed out that if they weren't happy with it they might as well cancel their agreement with it instead of blaming Booking.com and keep working with them. However, they managed to find a table for later and food was good (even though expensive and with tiny portions),also waiters were smart and ready.Oh yeah, last thing:scarce lifts and ANNOYINGLY SLOW TOO!
The bed was huge and really comfy. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choices and food was replenished regularly.
Location, common parts and public rooms, room well designed and comfortable; food good.
Staff not all as well trained as one would expect, particularly in dining room where couldn't cope at breakfast; bathroom fan didn't work, which is common enough in hotels but shouldn't happen in a 5 star; room fine, but lacked the 5 star added plus.
