A big clean room, the hotel is situated very close to the railway station and to city centre. You can have tea for free at any time of a day. Friendly staff at reception.
There were some problems with wi-fi in our room and a cool airstream was blowing from the bathroom during the night for some reason.
Its a decent budget 3star hotel. Nice lounge, good coffee, helpful staff.
there is no hairdryer in the room, a bit too much brown and grey colors
Good breakfast, good value for the price.
The lights in the hallway were out, and we told the front desk about this several times with no result.
Located in a quiet street near main walking street and only few blocks from main train station. Comfortable bed.
Close to the main station in a quiet street Very nice breakfast Small but comfortable room
Wi-fi was very sporadic - OK in the morning, lousy in the invening
Coffee & Tea bar open and free 24 hrs was a nice bonus. I would take my decaf coffee or hot chocolate up to my room each night. Good buffet breakfast included in the rate which was very reasonable. Great staff that helped me out by bringing me a hair dryer and showing me directions. Comfy room, nice size, reliable Wifi. Well positioned by the Diamond centre if you're there for business and just a 15 minute walk to the old town (along a bustling street full of shops for the shopaholic).
Free WiFi Centrally located Decent breakfast Good coffee Comfortable bed
Dirty, moldy bathroom!!! Holes in tiles, still dirty from pencil markings. Broken lamps in room. Holes in wall, scratches, stains, etc. Hallway to room was completely dark when you leave the elevator. Walls were so thin you could hear everyone else as if they were in the room with you. No information in room about the hotel (checkout, breakfast). WAY OVERPRICED! 99,90€ For a tiny, dirty, loud room.
The hotel is conveniently located very near the station and wifi was working fine.
Heating didn't work in my room TV channels all messed up No safe Breakfast far too expensive
The Coco-mat bed & pillow were excellent and I went and bought a Coco-mat pillow at their shop before we left. Room was clean and size was fine.
Room temperature difficult to regulate and WiFi was worthless. Also expected a bit more from a 3-star hotel, e.g. nicer dresser, toiletries, more towels, a blow-dryer.
Location is not central but adequate - walking distance to the center and through shopping street. Room is rather good and big for 3* hotel. It's obviously not luxury, but perfect value for money. Lobby area is quite nice - with special dedicated sitting area with big sloping windows for coffee.
As of now (Nov 2014) there is some renovation around the road, so hard to drive in by car. Not an issue with hotel by itself.
1. Mattress 2. Wifi
1. View 2. Mold on the ceiling (bathroom) 3. Water pressure in the shower
Location is great, breakfast is ok. very friendly and helpful staff. Free luggage storage.
Smoking smell is everywhere which is quite unpleasant. You cannot even leave the window open as the room is on the -1 floor and anyone came literally step into the room through the window. Room was quite untidy, even dirty. Needed to be vacuum-cleaned better. No safe box in the room.
Staff are very friendly, beds are great
Wifi is very poor
The support and hard work of the Night Porter getting the right number of beds in the rooms as booked.
I stayed with a group of six men, travelling on business earlier this month. I phoned the hotel mid afternoon on the day of arrival to check the reservation and to let the hotel know that we would not be arriving until midnight. I was assured that the rooms were as stated on the reservation (three rooms with 2 x single beds in each room), and late arrival would not be a problem. On arrival keys were given and two of the three rooms were not as stated, only having one double bed in them. Not good enough, especially as I had phoned through to make sure this event was avoided. This was the fifth night of our trip, and the other four nights (staying in Accor Group hotels), having phoned them as I did with this hotel during the afternoon, there were no problems like this. Also, the breakfast room was packed at 09.,00 without seats available to sit and eat breakfast.
Location, staff and facility's were all good and I would stay here again.
Can't fault the hotel.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, tea and coffee and Wi-Fi were free and very good. The bathroom was very good with excellent shower. The TV reception was rather unclear but I was able to view the channels I wanted. Overall, a good experience and the hotel location was very convenient for Antwerp Central station and shops/restaurants.
The room was rather quirky, with bare lightbulbs which I didn't like. There was also a large poster on the wall advertising the bed which is apparently of unusual construction. I would have preferred an art poster of some kind.
Elevator used to break down.
Only the cocomat matraces
Unfrienly stuff Cleaning ladies scream to the guests Very dirty hotel Breakfast impossible allguests booked via booking .com they acommodate to under ground rooms Definition hotel is too mu h for that think
location is good, close to the station
Staff help Comfort Facilities
Good breakfast, friendly staff. After we complained about noise, faulty fire precautions and electricity cuts, they gave us a partial refund without any discussion.
Fire precautions sub-standard. Room too hot, (couldn't leave window open, as there was free access from outside) and noisy. Electricity cut out right after breakfast. Bed excessively soft. Wi-Fi very poor in rooms (better in foyer).
Located near central station, just a few minutes walking from the shopping center of Antwerp Nice, clean and bright room Good breakfast
Wifi didn't work properly
The location is very good, next to the Central Station and right in the diamonds area (if interested). The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. We enjoyed a nice, full breakfast every morning and a parking place inside the hotel as well. Overall we recommend this hotel as a good choice while in Antwerp.
Breakfast room a bit crowded.
Just enjoy staying weekend and nothing complain
Need more strong wifi
Excellent location and very helpful staff. Good bed.
Very noisy inner court, even with window closed. The restaurant below cleaned at 2 am every night. Poor lighting in the room.
