It was a lovely old, historic building with many of the original features still in place. Looked out over parkland. Parking available on site No tea or coffee in the room, although it was available in reception |

Managed with an informal, friendly and welcoming style which makes you feel at home throughout. The owners happily share their two cocker spaniels with guests to add to this feeling, and they do not affect the dining room. Good breakfast buffet and useful coffee-making facility in lobby. Building has the air of a stately home set amongst lake and parkland, yet is easy to walk to from both station and centre. |

This hotel is in an excellent, quiet location in Brugge, it's staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean with a great shower. The breakfast was very good. Easy parking We didn't like the number of dogs in the building. After two months in Europe we are over two small single beds being called a double and sad euro pillows |

The situation of the hotel in Brugge was excellent, near to cafes, within easy reach of shops and near a lovely park and lake which was beautiful in the evening light. The breakfast was good and very informal. It is close to the railway station but also has its own open air parking. It was priced very reasonably. The outside area was in need of tidying............ |

It was very close to the centre of Bruges yet in a quiet backwater. The bathroom did not have a bath and it was quite small. |

Beautiful, romantic castle-like mansion in fairytale city bruges - tucked away into a garden area of the lovely city park. Very professional and kind staff with nice touches in the hotel like coffee and desserts in the afternoon as well as an ample breakfast buffet. Painting while we were there was disruptive, but likely not an ongoing issue. It would be nice to have had bikes available. |

I liked perfect location : close to train station and to the historical center; beautiful and quite place. Tasty breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. My room (#3) was on ground floor - I didn't feel comfortable to open window during the night... |

An exquisite setting in a lovely, quiet environment. This home is very well kept and true to its history. The new owner was warm, friendly and a great host. Breakfast was well presented , tasty and very ample. The park directly adjoining the property had hooting owls at night and vibrant colors during the day. All this just a short walk to everything including the train station. We hightly recommend this property. Only that the lift was temporarily out of order |

The hotel is well situated in a quiet and picturesque location, with good access to restaurants, site-seeing and local shops. It is a B&B rather than hotel, but is well run and comfortable. We particularly appreciated the characterful building and lovely gardens. |

Beautiful surroundings, very quiet (despite all the tourists walking around), beautiful building (outside), big garden, friendly staff, free wireless internet. Very quiet to all the sights, restaurants and shops. Although it's an old house, some parts (inside) were neglected. Paid parking on premises (!), uncomfortable beds (mattresses were much too soft), lingering odour of vinegar (used for cleaning). And breakfast selection was poor. |
