Good location both to train station and town center. Hotel surrounding is a very nice garden. When we told our train departure time is 8:30, the staff made breakfast earlier by half an hour. Early train before that time, you may have no time to have breakfast. Couldnot ask for hair-drier from staff after our one day tour. Maybe the staff are out of duty after 18:00. Our room is on the roof level, so it is tiny.

Staying in Egmond was like staying in a real medieval castle! The exterior truly resembles some palace and the interior is somehow antique, it has a lot of old furniture and decorations, flowers in the room. Breakfast was good, the choice of different gourmet cheeses was amazing. Also there was central heating which is very apt for Bruges. But the best thing were the dogs! One host had two wonderful dogs, who liked hotel's guests' attention, but also they didn't let anybody inside the hotel and kept an eye on the baggage that you leave at the reception. The breakfast didn't have any warm things like sausages or omelets, and if you come 15 minutes before the end you'll probably find almost nothing. Also the bathroom facilities were not very good: very small room with only a curtain to take a shower (so everything left in the bathroom becomes wet immediately) and the water and the water pressure were poor, although I guess this is not the hotel's fault.

The hotel is in a lovely position for exploring the town. Breakfast was very good with hot and cold food available and the staff was helpful and friendly. Room 12 had a very bad smell of drains in the room.

The hotel is a beautiful 18th century Bruges mansion house which retains its sense of history but offers good 21st century facilities. The situation is tranquil even though it is only a ten minute walk to the historic centre. Nothing - everything was lovely!

The room was very spacious and the en-suite bathroom was large too. The room was clean and a TV and WiFi also provided. The staff were helpful and the building was very old and interesting. There was plenty of choice for breakfast with cereals, bread, meat and cheese and bacon and eggs, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Tea making facilities were provided in the communal area downstairs. There were no tea making facilities in the room.

The location was excellent only a short walk to the centre and all the sights. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable with lovely original features. The staff were very welcoming and laid out a good selection of food for the continental breakfast.

A very good and quiet location away from the tourist hoards of Brugges, but close enough to everything one needs to see. Also close to the station. Wonderful building and atmosphere opposite parkland. A few signs of an update needed, such as peeling paint and shower damage to the bathroom wall in my room. Old fashioned TV.

Great location which means easy access to both the city centre and the train station. The breakfast is lovely and staff is very helpful. The bed was a bit too soft for me but that's a question of habit.

The hotel is situated in Minnewater park - a beautiful location for any season. We stayed in January and the birds singing was just perfect. The hotel is small and quiet but perfectly cozy. Breakfast was also pretty nice. It was very warm in the room and around in the hotel. No wi-fi in rooms, though there is a free wi-fi in the Lobby (ask for the password). Towels smelled a bit nasty - I think it's the dryer's fault. Too expensive for the service, but it is expensive everywhere in Bruges.

very cute hotel, price was very considerable when you think about quality. Design of the rooms and the hotel was lovely! Definitely recommended! Try not to get small room, because it is very(!) small.. However, very cute.

Excellent location and own car park. Lovely old building with plenty of character. Good choice for breakfast. Our room (4) wasn't the best by any means. We saw the next door room and was much better. It was generally clean but there were numerous cobwebs which need to be seen to. For what we paid, 250e, think we deserved a better room. Would certainly not pay this again although would stay at this hotel next time as long as the price was acceptable.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful mansion in typical Flemish style overlooking a park, the Lake of Love and the canals. Warm, personal welcome, very clean, spacious room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Even an honesty bar! Less than 10 mins slow stroll to the central Markt square.

The hotel is in a particularly picturesque part of the city bordering a very peaceful park and easy walking distance to the centre of the beautiful historical town. We spent 3 nights in Bruges and loved the hotel and the city. We had booked a small double room with private bathroom but it was tiny and the windows would not open so condensation was a real problem. When we asked if there was a bigger room available Steven, the owner gave us another without argument and for the same price. It was beautifully decorated and overlooked the front garden and parkland. Would like tea or coffee facilities in the room but that doesn't seem to happen in Europe.

Location was fabulous. On-site parking was convenient. They originally had us on the third floor. We asked if they could put us on a lower level since my husband has bad knees. Fortunately, they were able to accomodate our request. Otherwise, this would have been a real problem.

Lovely looking hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and the room was great. Gravel car park is tricky for motorbikes but the staff provided something for us to put under our side stands. Breakfast was good. We had a really good time. The lounge is a bit small for a group to sit and drink from the honesty bar but we managed. The stair treads are a bit narrow and seem steep.

The good thing is it is close to the train station, with the stony streets everywhere in Bruges, it s difficult to walk to far with suitcase, so the location is very helpful. The garden is pretty and it would be nice to sit outside in summer time, plus staff are very friendly. However the facilities in the hotel are disappointing, wifi is absolutely useless as it kept dropping off every TWO minutes, and the radiator in room 10 kept making noises all night, both my friend and I couldn't sleep at all.
