Stayed for two nights, our room was a bit small but then we only slept in it so hay ho,some of the others are a lot bigger. Our bathroom was a bit cupboard like but clean. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of both hot and cold food and the area is nice and quiet and only ten minutes walk to the main square, all in all,we enjoyed our stay at Egmond and would return, but not in the same room that we had this time

The hotel has plenty of character and is in an excellent location only two minutes from the beginning of the town and only ten minutes from the main square.

The only time you see any staff is either at breakfast or at booking in times, otherwise you are pretty much left to your own devices which if you don't have any problems is no big deal. They did advertise an "honesty bar" but we never actually came across it but that was no big deal either. I would stay at this hotel again because of its location, nice and quiet but close to all Brugges had to offer

Very close to City Centre and all amenities, whilst being in a very quiet setting and next to the park. Excellent outdoor seating areas and on site parking facilities. Breakfast was plentiful and a good selection.

Did not have disabled access to all areas, due to the age of the building.

Safe car parking within easy walking distance of the town centre. Excellent breakfast.

Not specific to Egmont --- but Bruges is a jumble of one way streets, without a SatNav we would have struggled to find it!

Ideally situated in the old town of Bruges. Beautiful house and garden in a very quiet lane. The breakfast was delicious.

with a few tweaks the bedrooms could be much more attractive. They are a good size but lack atmosphere.

the ambience of this hotel is wonderful . the owner is very friendly with his two beautiful dogs breakfast was everything you could wish for .we were sad to leave and wished we had longer. everything about this hotel just long's for you to go back

everything good over rides what we didn't. the shower was just a bit on the slow side but would not stop us going back, just getting ready for a coat of paint but don't be put of its one of the best places we have stayed

Overall it was good how ever I would have appreciated free wifi, more pillows and covers! More tea and milk in the room with biscuits and more toiletries such as conditioner and cream.

Breakfast was quite enjoyable, both in menu as well as atmosphere. The location was a welcome reprieve from the crowded streets near the market square.

Bathrooms were uncomfortably small. The rooms need some serious sprucing up...fresh paint, repair and refinishing of floors, and overall good spring cleaning is definitely called for. The garden had the potential to be lovely, but was also unkept and not very inviting as a result.

Beautiful old building tastefully improved - just had a lovely feel to it, particularly the breakfast room. Private parking, nice garden and very quiet. Two minutes from restaurants, cafes and a short walk into the heart of Brugges. Very nice breakfast - only 8 rooms so quite intimate.

Took a long time for the hot water to run through in the bathroom - up to 5 minutes the first time.

Loved this little hotel, right beside the canal, Minnewater Park, railway station, restaurants and the cosiest little pub in Bruges (One - just around the corner). Stephen the manager is terriffic, friendly, chatty, lovely dogs, and if he leaves some of the character of the hotel will leave with him. Loved our stay here, even if there was no bar, not restaurant and basically no full hotel services, because you are at home from the minute you cross the door, and it feels like your own private hotel. Room 7 was small but adaquate, lovely view of the garden, and yes we did smell the bacon cooking in the morning and the birds singing. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Very close to centre of town. Parking at the hotel. You can enjoy this lovely town by walking from the hotel.

Not a comfortable room. Enter into the room you have a few steps.

Everything. Location, the room, breakfast, staff, wifi, the dogs Прекрасный отель. Красивое место, романтичный квартал Брюгге. Уютная комната. Вкусный и питательный завтрак. Старинное здание с садом, прилегающим к парку.

There was nothing to dislike. Понравилось все, минусов не было!

I liked the staff, the breakfast, the garden, the location and the sweet escaping dog! If you are going to Bruges, stay at the Egmond Hotel. You won't be disappointed.

I didn't like that we had a prior booking and had to leave after only one night.
