break fast was good and close proximity to bruge city centre. the virtual tour of the hotel room looked better than the actual room we got. also there was three steps down into the bed area. there was also a mini step which i managed to trip over. |

The location was very good, we could walk into the centre in five minutes. Very basic, cold feel to the room. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quirky and provided nearly everything we wanted. The breakfast was good quality and there was always enough of everything; if anything ran out, all you had to do was ask the staff and they'd replenish it straight away. The hotel is in a great location, close to the centre of Bruges, and in a quiet and pleasant street. We would have liked to have tea/coffee facilities in our room. The square pillows were not particularly comfortable. |

Nice place. Room was large and it had a nice view. Small hotel just off a main square. Room was a little dusty and needed to be updated. It was not marked very well (like many of the smaller hotels in Brugges) so we had to drive around a few times before we found it. |

Basic but great breakfast. Although it overlooks a canal, what they don't tell you that its the end of a canal which looked very scummy and smelt bad close up. Reception staff ignored us when we arrived until another member of staff came to talk to us. |

The location was a pleasant surprise. Very quiet and within 100 metres of the main square. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends. The shower tray in my room leaked and the shower head holder had become detached from the wall. Two jobs that would have taken a matter of minutes to rectify. Also there are limited spaces to park a vehicle. A reservation is a must although there is free parking available about 200 metres away. |

Marc was wonderful. He guided us to many locations and told us a lot about the culture of the area. We appreciated getting to know him and his daughter. The breakfast was very good. The room was much larger than the others we stayed in in Europe. Wish they had free internet. Guess we are spoiled. |

The breakfast was just amazing: buffet style- could eat cornflakes, make butties with fresh bread, ham, cheese and could even have crepes. Thank you to the owner. As well, we was allowed to park car for £8 for overnight stay. Good! |

the breakfast was very good, the location was near downtown and on a canal, parking was nearby and affordable the room smelled horrible (like burnt rubber and air freshner), the bathroom smelled of raw sewage and there was a curtain for a door to the bath |

We were able to walk from the train station to Hotel Ensor, even if most of the path was cobblestone. The location was good as most everything was walking distance in Brugge from the hotel. We needed two beds for our room and there happened to be a room available with two beds. Jan, who ran the front desk, was very helpful, very kind and did a good job meeting our needs! The breakfast was adequate and good. Overall, a pleasant, clean, and good hotel. Thanks! |
