The reception looks bad
Great location Very helpful staff Hotel theme Room quality Very accommodating Bar Drinks service
Chiming clock which started at 7 am even on Sunday which chimed every 15 minutes.
-fans in the room -many facilities in the room
-no lift to our room in the 5th floor -no air-conditioning in the attic -parking place a bit distant from the hotel
The rooms are refurbished and charming. The restrooms have plenty of space and offered toiletries. The staff is very accommodating and aim to serve.
The narrow stairs - and no lift service. The carpets/rugs in the rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned; there was a lot of hair embedded. The smell of the room was a bit musky; the staff quickly accommodated and move us to another room. I trust that they will resolve that problem. The Wi-Fi boots you off automatically - the next morning I had no service on my laptop but I had service on my iPad so I was okay.
location is very nice, close to everything
no elevator lift difficult for elder ppl, the weird thing is the bathroom with glass that you can see thru?? and its very humid inside the toilet
Nice and clean.
No air conditioner and in July was very very hot! No elevator.
Clean rooms with a cool bar downstairs
No elevator and much more like a hostel then a hotel.
Secure no stairs to climb good location to the centre
Very hot needs air conditioning no electric jug no toaster
location staff food service comfortable beds clean rooms beautiful decorated rooms
the climb up to the top floor everyday, but I knew it was coming.
Accessibility to tourist attractions & shopping.
No aircon. Noisy neighborhood at early morning.
Location was great for us as a stopover. ..1 min walk to shopping area. Manager helped us with our bags up the steps to the top floor which was good, for us not him! Very obliging. Breakfast was good and apartment perfect for a young family.
Amazing hotel, excellent location, right in the city center but still at a very reasonable price. The staff was extremely polite, although I booked a simple room I was offered a studio with the same price. The rooms are big and very clean. WIFI is free and fast.
Great design, friendly personnel, good location
Extremely hot in the room, unable to sleep, also some kind of plastic protection around the mattress which makes it extremely uncomfortable
A really wonderful find. The art-deco character is superb.
Hotel is in an excellent location right at bottom of shopping district with a choice of restaurants. Rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean. This is a hotel that is excellent value for money and staff were very welcoming.
only about 5 mins from everything , staff were friendly, room was very clean and good sized shower and bathroom.
there's a church next to the hotel and the bells start at 8 am and go on for 12 hours every hour. no elevator in hotel so make sure you get a room on 1st or 2nd floor
Location, firendly and helpful staff, good money/value breakfast
Super cute hotel. Clean, comfortable, modern. Everything was perfect! We loved it and would stay here again.
There is no lift and the stairwell is steep and small. Not a problem for us but could be a problem for older people.
10 mins walk to the metro station, but it will be a little bit hard to find at the first time. The bed is very big and the decoration of the room is lovely.
Breakfast is not included and a bit expensive.
Funky styled rooms added a bit to the stay. Art Deco style of building was charming. Really good location close to centre of town (quick walk)
Booking.com stated on their website there was a car park at the hotel which was one of the reasons we initially booked. There was no car park and we were not the first according to staff to arrive and find this. Please note there is good parking nearby but it is not part of the hotel (this was not hotel esperances fault). Also as Australians we found the breakfast a little disappointing but this may be just because we are used to something a little different!
It was convenient for the centre of Brussels.
Car parking was expensive. We were 'upgraded' and the bath in the middle of the room, the toilet had a curtain separating it from the rest of the room.
Attic room was spacious and newly renovated.
Had to climb 5 storeys high with luggage to get to the room. But this was made known before reservation.
Cute little hotel, staff were amazingly helpful and gave us lots of good tips of what to do and locations in Brussels.
Need to have fans in the rooms and atleast a bottle of drinking water (complementary) when the guest checks in to the room. I have travelled around the world for the last 14 years and this is the only place I didn't get a bottle of drinking water even after I asked them.
I enjoyed the Hotel's ambiance. It was a lovely art deco building with many of its original features and the room was very comfortable and a generous size. It was so close to the city and since I traveled by train i was very convenient to walk to. Staff were helpful and let me leave my luggage in the lounge area when i arrived early.
I was on the top floor and there is no lift so I am glad I only had a small amount of luggage. This was a minor inconvenience especially once I saw the room.
