It had all we needed. Breakfast was good. We think it good value for money ca 70 EU for the night.
kind staff and rooms quite big and warm. good breakfast(good price for night+breakfast)
old structure, not very well cleaned but ok for one night
Good location, good wi-fi, good breakfast
Old furniture, bathroom not very pleasant, facilities need renovation!
- Romanian staff - Location
- Smell of sewage in reception area - Dusty rooms - Blood on bathroom wall - Tatty furniture - Uncomfortable bed - No duvet on bed - No tomatoes etc in 'Continental' breakfast - The price
On close inspection the towels were thin and ragged, the floor stained, the chair upholstery very stained, the bedspread ripped in places and the blanket definitely needing replacing. The front desk person was unattached from the needs of the customers.
Good location, quiet but close to the centre, with a pretty canal in front. Wifi was pretty decent.
The room was much, much worse than the ones shown in the pictures. It was overall poorly maintained: old furniture, curtains and carpet, very bad lighting (one miserable light for the entire room), stained sheets (washed but clearly in need of replacement). Same for the bathroom: there are cracks and stains on the tiles, rust and dirt showing on the pipes... It simply needs major renovation. It was quite cheap but I'd still expect a minimum level of comfort and upkeep.
great hotel in an excellent location overlooking the canal and from a walking distance of the historic city centre of bruge. Great choice and very happy with the deal.
The location was great and it was a brilliant bargain.
Nothing to complain about.
location, good wifi
Bed was not very comfortable
Close to city center Staff was friendly Food was fresh on buffet, but not much more than the European standard of bread, meat, cheese, and boiled eggs
Trash still in room from previous guest Everything is very well worn and mismatched furniture No parking without a 20 minute walk from hotel
I made a mistake while booking a room, the stuff was very helpful and did not do any problems to change it. The room was warm and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and warm. The breakfast was nice. Perfect and charming localization.
We had a room with a view on a wall.
-Location location location -Staff very helpful and patient. After the check in without me asking the lady at the reception gave us some good advice on where to eat and where to go first, which helped a lot.Polite and to the point.Thank you! -Good wifi -Nice breakfast, though nothing special (included in the price of the room) -was last minute booking at a good price
-Room needed renovation (I didnt mind but I think other future guests should know)
Very good and very conveniently situated. Friendly nice atmosphere.
Rooms a bit small and tired looking but clean.
Located in walking distance from Grote Markt - Town square - in the romantic medieval town of Bruge. Cozy hotel.
Missing duvet - it can be cold in Bruge in December ;-)
Wifi was excellent. Location was very good. Staff were very nice people.
I paid half the amount for a much nicer hotel in Brussels. Prices for Europ Hotel constantly change like most hotels, but it's always pricey for an outdated 2 star. The reason being is because it's in Bruges. Breakfast was terrible, don't think I've ever had a worse one.
Great location, friendly staff
The room was dreary, the bed was uncomfortable, a lot of noise from room above, creaking floorboards, breakfast was poor.
Excellent in all respects.
Nice, clean, warm hotel only 10 minutes stroll to the main square. Decent breakfast too.
Walls are paper thin, recommend you take ear plugs if you want some sleep and the people in the next room are just talking normally or have their TV on. Bit disappointed that the toiletries were bath/shower gel, a small soap and a shower cap. Shampoo would have been nice.
Large room with good view of canal. Very quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Standard of cleaning of the room. although generally clean, some details were not attended to. I could write my name in the dust on the table lamp. Why still offer sheets and blankets? Surely duvets are better these days. The towels were old and rough. Breakfast was adequate but nothing exciting. The coffee was weak in flavour and luke-warm..
Location and service was excellent
Getting tired , limited plug points no tea and coffee making
Exceptionally helpful on the reception desk
The hotel was not too far from the main square so not too far to walk. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There wasn't loads of choice for breakfast but what there was, was good. I had booked parking which turned out to be the use of a garage, so the car was parked up when we arrived and stayed there until we left.
The hotel rooms were way too hot, we were up in the attic and had to leave the windows open and turn the radiators off. The decor is very dated and makes the hotel very dark. I think it could do with a face lift.
The location of the hotel is good, quite a short stroll into the centre. The staff - friendly and helpful and the breakfast reasonable, with good coffee.
We first stayed here about ten years ago and since then there appears to have been little updating or redecorating. Everything was clean but tired, for example a leather chair in the room had lost almost all its colour and the shower did not provide water of a constant temperature. It was not possible to regulate the radiators so that for some of the time the room was roasting!
Heating system, cleanliness, the classic looks, staff at reception, breakfast and surrounding area
No kettle in the room to prepare hot drink, not enough space to keep the luggage n hang the coat, parking quite far, staff in cafe not friendly, not really worth for money if we compare the price n the facilities.
Nice Breakfast Attention from the staff
Pay attention to the checkin and checkout time limit. The room had a strange smell... The wall and the florr were "speaking"
