Difficulty of parking
The location is really good, just a short walk from the centre. Staff were helpful and the price/ value for money is very good. Parking was easy with assistance from the staff. WiFi was reasonable too. Would stay there again.
Bar closed at 21.30 so we stayed out.
The location of the hotel is ideal. 8 minutes walk from the main square.
The room was dirty. The bed wasn't very comfortable.
The lady on reception couldn't have been more helpful and accomodate us with all our needs. Would reccomend this hotel as good value for money, a lovely little place.
I got wrong information at the reception desk.
Location and breakfast.
The ensuite was cramped and in need of update.
We had a lovely time in Bruges. The breakfast was nice, standard, but nice. The location of the hotel was brilliant, quiet but close enough to the main square. The staff were friendly, very very helpful, and very polite. The hotel looked lovely downstairs and from the outside. Lovely view.
The hotel room was on the 3rd floor, the lift only went up to the 2nd floor, which was an issue with baggage. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. There were no spare electric sockets for phone charging etc, a big inconvenience. There were some shoes left in the cupboard, and the furniture was very dated and not clean. The tv was tiny and dated and there were barely any channels, let alone English channels, which was an issue when my son wanted to watch tele. On the top floor the wifi was out of range which wasn't a huge issue for us except when my son wanted to play on his tablet (after he couldn't watch tv). I emailed the hotel to reserve parking and did not hear back. Incident lying when we got there I was told their car parking was fully booked and I had to go to a hoyel next door to buy a parking disc. It was only €3 but a bit inconvenient after a long drive and day. Also, the time on the parking disc had to be updated 4 hourly between 9am-7pm so couldn't go to far due to this needing updating. The towrls were very thin and ripped and there was no control over the heating so we were cold. A lovely trip. The hotel just needs updating a bit.
Good location and value for money with a good breakfast. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Rooms slightly shabby but OK for what we wanted - brief stay.
Location, staff, breakfast, cleanliness and basic comfort were all good. There were few frills but it was as good a 2 star hotel as you're likely to get anywhere.
Floors a bit squeaky but I could expect little else from a building of this age and type. Not a problem.
A little dust in the room may cause some problems if you have asthyma
No parking facilities, no restaurant
Well located for Bruges centre, friendly efficient staff and clean.
No tea or coffee making facilities in room and 3 euros per cup at the bar.
Location is great. Breakfast included. Helpful staff!
Sewage smell in the hallway once in a while.
The hotel is ok, you pay for what you get, considering the price range that you find in Bruges. - 5 minutes walk to get to the main square. - 20 minutes walking from the train station. - There is a canal just outside the hotel and if you get the right room you also have a view! - Breakfast is ok
- paper-thin walls: you can hear next door guests sounds while using the toilet, laughing, speaking or just doing anything else in the room. - standard rooms are a little bit small. (don't know about others)
Hotel is situated in a quiet yet convenient location close to the center. Good service, good breakfast, free parking at the hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff good breakfast good location.
not enough power points in our room (only one). It was also noisy at night with people going past.
The location is fine and the staff were helpful and friendly
Very few electrical sockets in my room and the two I found were nowhere near the bed or desk. Wifi was very poor. It was also very hot since I was in the attic.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a standard double room as it was all that was available but we were given a room on arrival that was very large, comfy beds (2 double beds!) a large bathroom with bath and a lovely view of the canal. The breakfast was fine, a good selection of things. Not overly luxurious but Good value for money, great location!
The wifi wasn't great but we didn't mind too much. Our only complaint would be there was no tea/coffee maker in the room but besides that it was still worth the stay because of the lovely staff and the distance to the central market (5 min walk!)
Excellent value, location, and service Great breakfast Nice big beds Room full of character
Nothing to dislike, other than the occasional mosquito biting you!
Clean, tidy and good location.
Expensive for what it is, but that's what Bruges is like...
4 hour limited parking I.e. No parking!!! Bed and pillows horrible. Room very small, dark and old and stank of cigarettes but don't open window as mosquitoes galore. Decore awful, breakfast very ordinary. Worse hotel I have ever stayed at. Shame because Bruges is so amazing.
Room was smaller than advertised, old, worn out and stuffy. Cost was outrageously high for what we got. False advertising. Do not believe the website description or photos. Linens were worn out, towels threadbare. No air, now window screens, many nasty Mosquitos.
