I liked the bedroom the people and the breakfast was fantastic!
I didn't like the Tea. Unfortunately they don't do normal English Breakfast tea. The tea tasted like perfume, I think it was earl grey maybe
A fitting tribute to a beautiful city This b'n'b really captures the essence of the city
The stay was 100 points out of 100. Perfect location, perfect facilities, friendly and helpful stuff. Everything was amazing! We will definitely come back here!
I don't think any review could do this place justice. This is the only place to stay if you visit Bruges. It is total perfection....we did not want to leave! LOCATION: Perfection - right on the Bonifacius Bridge, on the canal, directly opposite the Church of Our Lady. B&B: Again, perfect! Lyne is the perfect hostess her B&B is beautiful. Spotlessly clean, full of beautiful antiques....the suites are also beautiful, with amazing whirlpool baths and brilliant showers. The mini bar in the room is free and is stocked with local beer, water and soft drinks. The roof terrace offers an amazing view of the immediate area. Lyne really has thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. On arrival we were presented with coffee and chocolates, given a map, Lyne took the time to sit with us, explain where everything was and make restaurant recommendations etc. BREAKFAST: In one word - amazing, no time constraints on when you eat. Served at tables overlooking the canal and the beautiful surroundings. Beautifully presented fresh fruit salad, baked eggs with tomatoes, bacon and mushrooms as well as fresh bread, cheeses, jams and patisserie. There are also coffee and tea making facilities at your disposal in the breakfast room throughout the day and night. THINGS TO DO: Climb the Belfort (8 euros per person), take a horse and carriage ride around the town (40 euros) and also the boat tour (8.50 euros). There are also a number of museums you can visit too. Or just wander around getting lost and discovering new places as we did - Bruges is such a beautiful place, very unspoilt and very laid back. We cannot wait to come back and stay again! Thank you Lyne for an amazing stay.
Nothing - absolutely perfect stay!
Excellent location. Spotlessly clean. Lovely authentically decorated rooms adding to its period charm. Delightful little roof terrace. Excellent breakfast served in a beautiful room. This is a special occasion venue, calm, romantic, stylish and well managed. Perfect!
Access to the roof terrace would be very difficult for an elderly person.
Absolutely wonderful. The owner, Lynn, anticipated and fulfilled our every need. Great location. Our room overlooked the canal and the St. Bonifacius Bridge. We couldn't give this remarkable place a better review.
Everything! The hostess Lyne was so welcoming there wasn't a thing she wouldn't do for us. She even carried our heavy bags up the stairs so that we could sit back and relax with a coffee when we got there. We even had our own secure parking space just down from the b&b. The location is superb, couldn't be better. Beautiful old building right on the canal. You do get onlookers and boat trips going past but this is fine, we quite enjoyed it! The boat trips don't start until 9.30 and finish around 6ish so no early or late disturbances. The breakfast was phenomenal! A plate of fresh fruit, croissants and eggs anyway you like them served every morning at whatever time we liked! Perfect! The b&b has a roof terrace which is stunning and is overlooked by a beautiful 16th century church. The bedrooms are very well equipped but still in a traditional style. The shower is awesome! The b&b is situated perfectly in the middle of everything so was a great base for our days out and at night the grounds around the area are locked so it's peaceful and undisturbed. 5* all the way and shouldn't be rated any less!!
Absolutely nothing. It was our perfect get away break.
Excellent is an understatement for this guesthouse. You are well looked after by the owner Lyne and the breakfast is amazing. We will definitely return for another stay.
everything about the hotel was perfect
nothing to dislike at all
There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, not to love about this beautiful establishment and it's gracious proprietor, Lyne. I can't recall ever staying anywhere where the standard of personal attention to the needs of the guest have been so high. First up is the building itself - perfect location overlooking the canal and the historic Bonifacius bridge, it has been lovingly restored to an elegant, tasteful and beautifully appointed guest house. With only 3 rooms, it really is an exclusive establishment but it felt like a home from home (oh, if only my house were so lovely!). On arrival, we were escorted to the owners private garage and she helped us lug our overlly stuffed cases up two flights of stairs to the room. Ah, the room!! We were given a free upgrade to what can only be described as the premier room of the guesthouse, overlooking the canal, with shuttered windows, a huge and sumptuous bed, a bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a complimentary minibar! Oh, and if that wasn't enough, you had access to a lovely intimate roof terrace with tables and chairs and sun loungers where you could admire the spires of Brugges and take in the sunshine. Gorgeous! Breakfast is tremendous - a beautifully appointed dining room with tables overlooking the canal, we were served a daily feast of the finest fruit, bread, croissants, cheese and hams, as much orange juice as you could consume and a fab coffee maker! You also had the choice of a Brugge cooked breakfast consisting of eggs, tomato, mushroom and bacon. Fabulous! Wi-fi connection speeds were excellent and never faltered. The bedroom tv received BBC1....oh I could go on and on! Brugges is a gorgeous city and we thoroughtly enjoyed our visit. But without doubt the high point was our stay at the B&B Bonifacius and the great personal care and attention of the lovely lady who owns it. I cannot praise it enough. It was gorgeous. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. But there is always next time!
Nothing - anyone who could make a negative comment about this beautiful establishment must be mad!
We have traveled all over the world and stated at many hotels & apartments, but this was the absolute BEST! Aside from the fact that the location is perfectly situated in the charming Brugge old town center, the B&B was as charming & comfortable as can be & Lyne was a perfect hostess! We would stay here again & again without question! We don't have a negative thing to say and were practically in tears that we had to leave. The pictures online don't even do it justice. It is really amazing!!!!!!
Fantastic staff, Lynne took so much trouble to ensure our stay was perfect, the beds were comfortable and the room well laid out, the views and roof terrace were amazing, and the breakfast is superb.
My husband and I were sorry to leave. We thought the stay was perfect.
Lynn was an excellent hostess. Breakfast is fabulous. Rooms are really ornate and clean. It is more expensive than most other guest houses but the location on the canal, the decoration and service are worth every penny.
Only thing that could improve the experience is having tea and coffee making facilities in the room rather than having to go down to the lounge first thing in the morning.
The breakfast was perfect and relaxing. I loved the room itself - comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. The perfect B and B.
Spetacular location, complete comfort and impeccable service
There is nothing bad about this place - honestly
Location was great. In historic part of Bruges. Service was excellent. Breakfast spot on. Real medieval feel to the guesthouse.
Lets start with Lynn who is the nicest owner I have ever met. She makes sure your visit is like staying in a 5 star hotel. I went to make myself a cup of coffee and she said " let me make it for you because you are on Holiday" The location is wonderful and we loved our breakfast every morning. We had to give her a hug when we left becasue we liked her so much! Looking forward to returning to Brugge and staying with Lynn again.
We liked everything!!
We stayed here for my husbands 50th birthday Treat and we loved every minute of it. When we return to Bruges we will be returning back here.. Lyne the owner was the best host ever.. The whole place was superb inside and out. Thank you for making us so welcome .
Lynn the owner is very attentive, there is attention to every detail and she cannot do enough for you. The rooms are unique, beautifully furnished and clean. Breakfast unusual but very nice. Right in the centre of Bruges but out enough to be quiet. Would definitely return.
Everything, perfect boutique guesthouse, Lynn the host was so welcoming and attentive. Perfect location
