We did not like to have to pay for parking our car

Having to pay for the car parking!!! It was extraordinary to have to pay for parking in an out-of-town hotel anyway, but the charge of 9 Euros was to me unacceptable!! The hotel staff seemed to have a poor knowledge of public transport to and from the hotel. On first check-in they didn't provide a photo-copy map of the area the buses went to. After requesting later, they gave a one-page photocopy, but seemed very vague about where to catch and where get off the return bus The location was VERY poor with poor public transport, particularly for returning on New Year's eve. In view of the time of year, I think the hotel could have organised a shuttle to avoid driving

Excellent value for money, hotel very clean, very confortable, rooms are very wide, coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast very good. I like it.

I liked the efficient check-in, the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast.

Did not have double bed in room as requested and staff nit very helpful on this. I felt that they were unhelpful because booking not made directly with hotel but by agency.

Nice hotel with confortable rooms, good breakfast

As a lone traveller, I always feel comfortable at hi Gent; the bar is welcoming and not too big and the range pf snacks is very good for people who don't want to eat in the restaurant.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and am very happy to continue to do so in the future.

Although several miles from centre of Gent it was simple to travel into by bus/tram. Hotel was very relaxing with good facilities and a restaurant which was both friendly and good value. Room was very comfortable. The directions given on your web site for finding the hotel by road was a little confusing.

Parking charges should be included while booking. Same goes for local tax as well

Good value for money, and easy location

Room was big and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Private parking available (9 Euro/day). Breakfast buffet offered a variety of food and was very tasty. We got to choose between soft and firm pillows. Even though there was no refrigerator in the room, there were ice machines in the hallways.

An comfortable stay, a fantastic room with excellent bathroom. The evening buffet was first class and a very reasonable price.

The personal and the hotel as well as the service was of a high standard. The location was perfect as it only took a couple of minutes and then you were on the Autobahn which was a conveniance for myself who was tavelling on further. I could not say anything negitive to the whole set up.
