We had the 'Giroflee' bedroom for two in the attractive barn conversion, and Danielle had arranged a delicious dinner for us as well as covered parking for our car. There was home-made jam and delicious yogurt made on the farm for breakfast and we will come back to the Ferme Chateau de Laneffe for a longer stay in the future.
The setting was beautiful and secure. The renovations to old farm buildings were very well done and comfortable. Breakfast was great, staff was very friendly and accommodating - even provided early mini pack of croissants, yogurt etcetera when we needed to leave before breakfast to catch a plane.
Nothing. It suited our needs.
We had actually booked for the wrong date but the owner changed the booking to accommodate us perfectly in two beautiful rooms. She was so welcoming and the service was faultless! Lovely breakfast too and a beautiful farm for the children to explore- plenty of animals and even a pony ride offered. Would definitely highly recommend this place!
I like it because it were in a quite area.
This is one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. Danielle was great. When we arrived, she was hosting a large dinner for a group but she took the time to make sure we were comfortable, had local food, and followed up to make sure all was well. Breakfast was very good. The whole atmosphere was just very relaxing. You would be missing out on a great experience if you did not have a night here. Such a great family!
Very friendly reception by owner, Beautiful setting, clean, nice light rooms, wonderful breakfast
Steep steps to rooms should be noted on reservation site.
Danielle the owner was superb and accommodated our late arrival with minimal fuss, staying up late to welcome us personally. The rooms were wonderful and full of character with high ceilings and a balcony.
We loved the historic nature of the Chateau and that it has been restored sympathetically. Danielle was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and more than ample. We had a continental breakfast with locally produce yoghurts and breads and jams.
The mezzanine bed in the triple bedroom is great for children however the balustrade is quite high so a young could slip through if they fell out of bed. The reception was not manned and we had to disturb someone to gain access to the hotel. Danielle did apologize for this though when she arrived.
Danielle, the friendly owner couldn't do enough to make our stay special.
