the price/value relationship was good. the breakfast was OK but the big plus was the way Paul deals with his guests. It was nice enough but I believe that it is a bit overrated this is quite an old house and the rooms transmit sound so that you can hear everyone around you and those above your every time they move. Any time someone walked up or down the stairs it felt like they were in your room with you. This is really a green hotel and they conserve in every way, even on the heat. Just be ready for a "green attitude."

Location within the old city but away from the tourist centre; peaceful street; close to cafes and a good (but inconspicuous) supermarket; opportunity to hire bicycles from the hotel; general help and assistance Nothing not to like

The hotel is in an excellent location, an easy 10 minute walk to the main market. It was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have the option to pay a small fee for a private parking area. We would stay here again on a return visit to Bruges.

Paul is a fantastic host! The room was immaculate, and the location is perfectly placed. If Bruges is on your visit, this is the only place to stay! Paul is extremely attentive to your wants and desires in your taste buds I.e I prefer my eggs soft and runny. A.J. & Margaret Cooper

Quiet and friendly small hotel. Very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast great location just out of the centre in a quiet and beautiful area of Bruges. Perfect for our short visit - would definately go back again if in Bruges. Would have been nice to be able to make hot drinks in our rooms - I think it was because it was an eco hotel - but as a family it would have been nice.

Lovely hotel - the manager, Paul, was very helpful, friendly and also very hardworking!!! Breakfast was good and plentiful and our room was spotless and comfortable. The hotel was about a 15 minute leisurely, pleasant walk into the main Markt Square and there is lots to see and also lots of shops!!!

Our stay at Hotel Fevery was WONDERFUL! The owner, Paul Asselman, was incredibly helpful. He brought a thermos of coffee up to our room so that we had it and biscuits before we set out on an early am balloon flight. Paul organized an alternative route for us to get to Amsterdam on day of Belgian train strike and had breakfast ready early for us that day. The hotel is in a former home and is very comfortable. Rooms are immaculate. It's a short walk from central Brugge on a quiet street. Breakfast is included and there was always cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit or juice, cheeses, breads, cold cuts + a boiled egg made to order if you like. Tea/coffee are provided in the afternoons and there's a small bar from which you can order a beer or wine. We highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in an old building with steep stairs, which was not a problem to us. Our room was small and basic but clean and quiet enough (we have been disturbed by guests going to their rooms later than we did, but they went to sleep soon). The staff were extremely kind. Buffet breakfast was good.

Fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff, especially manager Paul! You can ask him anything and he will do his best to help. Hotel is situated in good quite location 10 min walk from city center. Good place to stay in to see Brugge and take a bike-tour to the nearest towns. Eco-friendly. Sufficient breakfast. Recommend to everyone! Can't think of anything.

Very polite staff! The owner does almost everything in the hotel including serving the berakfast and working on reception, but still all of them are very nice and freindly. Good location (just about 10 minutes within walking distance from Markt square), nice and calm neighborhood. There is also a small market near the hotle, so it`s very convenient. You can rent a bike at the reception (that`s very convenient to see this city by bike). Very cosy, stylish and suitable to Brugge interior. Good free wi-fi. Please, pay attention that reception is not 24 hours, so in case you arrive in the evening that`s better to send a message directly to the hotel to get detailed direction how to get the hotel (it can be a little bit complicated in those narrow, short and winding streets of Brugge) and how to get the key inside the hotel.
