Next Door Bed & Breakfast is situated in a restored mansion from the 1800s. Find yourself less than a 5-minute walk from the main Market Square and the historic heart of Bruges.

- very welcoming and friendly hosts - excellent breakfast with nice music :-) - beautiful building and home decoration
The shower outflow was blocked, by the time I was ready, the water was appr. 5cm ... The windows in the bath and bedroom were closed, you could not let any fresh air in. WIFI is working only in the hall, but absolutely not in the room. The bed was awfully soft - so if you are looking for a very firm mattress, this place is not recommended for you...
Great location, lovely house and fantastic service.
The Wifi did not work
I liked welcoming atmosphere and helpfulness with all questions and needs of the stay. Very elegant house, stylish decoration, large room. The house is close to the main tourist attractions of this beautiful town, very practical for anybody who likes short regular walks, but there is a bus stop too for anybody who wants to use public transport. There are parking facilities in ground closed for night and under supervision during the day, so you can leave your vehicle without worries. By the way, I nearly forgotten there is a lift installed in this old beautiful house to accommodate anybody with physical disability to climb stairs. It was a great long weekend in Bruge.
There are no negative aspects of my stay I can think about.
Nice an quiet place.
Don't take a room with a street view because is a little bit noisy.
Room was lovely and clean with spacious layout and great interior The host was very kind and helpful They cared very much your issue and tried to offer all kinds of solution especially directions truly enjoy their hospitality
If more warm food choices from the breakfast our stay would be terrific
A wonderful 100 year old castle With all comfort and a wonderful staff. Anne and Lieven did everything to feel myself at home. A perfect choice in the lovely Brugge 10 minutes walk from the Market Place. A real dream for those who love calm and silence in a busy and loud touristic city.
I loved everything
Nice old house
However, tenants are not reliable and the house isolation is not good. Our stay was in winter and the heating system was shut down during the night, thus room temperature dropped below 15C. Besides, we had issues regarding our 3-year old daughter. The house belongs to a mother and a son. Prior to reservation, we agreed by phone with the son that our daughter will not need a separate bed, thus no extra charges were going to be charged in line with the website (30 Eur / night for a child bed). However, during our stay the mother kept insiting for a separate bed to be added, which we refused (also because of the cold- night!). During check-out, without prior-notice, the son charged us additional 10 Euros per night for the stay of our daughter. Two weeks later, without pre-notice, an additional debit to our credit card of 20 Eur per night (total of 30 Eur, price for an extra child bed – which we did not have). We received an email from the mother informing us of the debit, only 10 days after the second payement (once it was already debited from our account). The tenants are therefore from our view, very unreliable and misleading and greedy to get more money out of anyone's stay. We certainly do not recommend this hotel. A shame experience from the lovely Bruges.
Wonderful breakfast, very nice hosts and cosy decoration :)
Very friendly and warm atmosphere. Room were nice, clean, comfortable.
Very friendly and helpfull hosts. Excellent location with an easy walk into the old town
We stayed in the top floor apartment, and the lift did not work
Everything perfect! All the stuff is great! The place is wonderfully!
There's no air conditioning and the rooftop apartment could be a little hot in summer days.
Our hosts could not have been more helpful. Spacious room.
We stayed for a week, but the simple breakfast had very little variation. No AC or hair dryer. The AC was no direct problem - temps were comfortable, even in August - but the bed duvet (probably normal in Bruges) was too hot at night, and too cold without it. And the thick roll pillows were impossible to use (also normal for Bruges?).
1. Very nice room in a beautiful house and garden. 2. Close enough to center of town.
The hosts seem a bit too mercenary, especially considering that the room rate is fully priced. They charge for parking when there is ample parking in the courtyard as well as in the street. They charge for bottled water. The laundry charges were on the high side for a B&B.
