B&B Fish Market

the fish market was absolutely beautiful. an unassuming facade gave way to a truly wondrous interior; existing on a multitude of levels, the exacting and tasteful decor only surpassed by our host's warm and genuine nature. I cannot recommend this true gem more highly

although we had en suit shower facilities, the toilet was in the corridor

I like that it's spacious. We weren't cramped in a hotel room. It also has a full kitchen,so we could cook and save money. It's close to the Grand place; about a 10 minutes walk. Elisabeth was welcoming. She helped us with our luggage. She had some food items such as milk,bread, coffee,juice,olive oil etc to get us started. Whatever wasn't in the apartment that we needed, she got for us. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of clean towels and blankets in the closet. It's a great value for the the price.

On the third floor with very steep stairs. No elevator. We had our 14 months old, so it wasn't comfortable carrying her up and down the stairs. We also has a stroller ,which wasn't easy to carry up and down too. Not recommended for those who would be challenged without elevators(lift)

Great location in easy walking distance from all the sights and public transport; lovely, clean, comfortable room; delicious breakfast; and wonderful hosts with lots of great advice. We loved staying here!

Excellent apartment and facilities. Host is very friendly and helpfull. We really enjoy our stay in BB Fish Market apartment.

TV is tiny and outdated. There is no lift to the 3rd floor apartment.

Fantastic place, very good atmosphere, breakfast and friendly owners of the place. Felt like home, but with special touch of belgian design. Very central location, quiet surrounding, far from ghetto quarters. Very comfortable bed with a fantastic mattress - slept like in heaven! Very clean, smart, has a terrace by the dining room - good for having a breakfast in late spring and summer.

We've had a toilet outside in a hall, but still had shower with washbasin with direct entrance from the room, so I can't really say it was something that distracted.

Very nice staff, clean and nice decorated room, good breakfast and service in general. Good location close to the city center and with many restaurants nearby.

The WC was outside the room, but it was not far away and was very clean.

Beautiful maison de maître, refurbished in beautiful modern design. Huge bedroom and very comfortable bed. Very convenient location for visiting Brussels. Will return.

Excellent location, host was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Brussels sights, restaurants, etc., large comfortable room, delicious breakfast...would definitely stay there again.

If I had to say one thing negative, it would be that the breakfast room was quite chilly....that's my only negative.

Elisabeth and Thierry are excellent hosts. They were incredibly helpful in suggesting sights, restaurants, making bookings and ordering cabs etc. The building and the rooms are very charming and the location is superb, being very close to the city centre, but still enjoying the quiet- and cosyness of the old Fish Market quarter.

I liked the interior of this b&b and of course the hospitality of the owners. So, if you like small, but stylish places to stay, go to fish market.

Poor sound isolation.

Elizabeth was VERY accommodating. The room was very large and both she and her husband helped us in making decisions about where to go.

The toilet was outside the room and down stairs. There were no tissues in the room.

The proprietoress, Elizabeth, was very welcoming. The apartment (which is a short walk from the actual B&B) was quite a surprise, furnished out with vintage. It was clean, light and airy. The walk into the town centre was not even 10 minutes so very ideally located. I would certainly recommend staying there if you want privacy and do your own thing!! We will definitely stay there again.

The B&B was really excellent. Great central location, amazing building, friendly and accommodating owners. The whole package was also great value. We would definitely return if we went back to Brussels

We stayed at an apartment separate from the owners home, therefore this was an apartment rental and not a b & b ( no breakfast was given). Also we were told to leave the apartment keys inside when we left as the doors lock behind you. Upon doing so, we shut the apartment door, walked down three flights and another door to outside corridor, but this door was locked (we could not get out). Fortunately there was a resident in apt 2 who was home and could unlock the door. I don't know what we would have done because this long corridor led to another set of doors to the outside street, no one would of ever heard us knocking and our Internet would not have worked so far from the 4th floor apt. Very scary actually. The owner should be informed of this.! Should not be advertised as a b & B. Would be nice to receive a partial refund due to this.

The set up of the B&B was very unique and beautiful. The staff were very helpful and it was in a great location.

I couldn't have stayed for more than one night because it is expensive but well worth the price.

Elisabeth was a great hostess - very polite, sympathetic and helpful. The place is amazing - huge and comfortable room. Good taste and dedication is noted all around the house. Very clean. Delicious breakfast. Everything was so perfect that we asked to stay for one more night and, fortunately, they were available.

Le stanza era davvero esteticamente soddisfacente.

房間很大，有客廳、餐廳、浴室裡有浴缸、也有設備齊全的小廚房。在這裡就像回到家一樣，非常自在。走路到聖- 凱薩琳地鐵站很近，樓下轉角就有小雜貨店，可以買到雞蛋與一些蔬果。住的是三樓，窗外風景很美。下次若再來- 到布魯塞爾，仍然會想住在這裡。

沒有電梯，如果行李很重很大的話，可能要斟酌一下，搬運行李將會是一個挑戰。

3 étages , sans ascenseurs avec un escalier très étroit.

Excellent accueil, très belle décoration. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et s'il fait beau, possibilité de le prendre sur la grande terrasse. Très calme.

La salle de douche est minuscule ce qui n'est pas pratique.
