Floreal Le Panoramique

The dinner was excellent, much better than I had expected, the views were good, the local beer was excellent, the staff were efficient and helpful, and helped my poor French with good command of English in most cases.

It had a very odd and almost surreal atmosphere in October. I guess this is a summer holiday hotel, and in October, it seemed almost empty. I visited the bar 3 times, and three times, I was the only person there, apart from the barman. All bars in village seemed to be closed. They had only dial up internet connection in the rooms, and I could not get this to work. In 2009, I expect minimum of cable broadband, but preferably wireless broadband. However, I knew of this before booking.

We liked the place as being the countryside and activities all inside the hotel ground.

The rooms were spacious and had amazing views over the countryside. There were many outdoor activities at the hotel and walks to take from the hotel into the countryside next to it. A superb place for a family to stay or break a long journey.

The rooms were large and clean. Restaurant service and meals were excellent. The area is great for long walks through the hills. The hotel is close to the city of Tournai.

The room was next to the elevator, so there was some noise during the night.

Le parking, ca nous avons dû nous prquer assez loin et il pleuvait.

La présence d'un concierge la nuit ce qui permet de rentrer tard à l'hôtel en toute sécurité et sans attendre. Qualité du restaurant et du service à table

Difficulté pour trouver l'établissement dans la campagne depuis la sortie d'autoroute

Dat de kamer schoon was en alles netjes opgeruimd.

Ik vind dat de receptie wel nederlands/engels mag spreken en niet stug frans blijven praten dat vind ik ongepast voor een hotel.

La situation est extraordinaire, sur cette colline, une vue magnifique. Les salles à manger sont très agréables, car beaucoup de lumière naturelle. Le petit-déjeuner était très bon.

Je vais rarement à l'Hôtel, mais j'ai constaté : pas de poubelle dans la chambre; salle de bains vieillotte; odeur d'égoût dans chambre et même ds les couloirs. Rapport Qualité/prix : trop cher; c'est aussi l'avis de 4 autres personnes qui ont l'habitude de fréquenter les Hôtels.

Wij hadden 3 kamers geboekt. Bij aankomst was er één kamer geannuleerd. (niet door ons) En moesten wij bijna vertrekken. Wij hebben dat geweigerd. De directie was heel onvriendelijk. Zij hebben dan een oplossing gezocht.
