Score from 47 reviews Very good
Surrounded by lush, green fields, this family-run bed and breakfast is set in a 17th-century farmhouse. It has a large garden with a furnished terrace and barbecue.
Score from 118 reviews Wonderful
Good food. Quiet. Fantastic views
Lack of air conditioning and very narrow steep stairs to bedroom.
Large room twin /double bed two comfortable chairs. Balcony and panoramic view. Quiet location Great breakfast selection. helpful staff and English was spoken
It was a little dated but the quality materials used more than made up for that.
The locatation for us was excellent. The room had a lovely view of the countryside, with a balcony. It is best to use the latitude/longitude location in your Sat Nav, given address not allways correct
The restaurant was closed on Sunday, even when i had precontacted the hotel to ask about Sunday even eating, they said nothing available or nearby, only after arriving we found three restaurants nearby open Sunday even, in fact two were next door. Receptionists appeared to have a very limited access to English language. We had room 909 lovely view over valley countryside, balcony, but you had to go upstairs to bedroom, not good if you had a mobile problem, also back down during the night for toilet relief , /Continental breakfast a bit low on choice. No night staff, late night you had to let yourself in with card key.
The bathroom was a bity outdated--Bath too high--a difficult to get out of;
The views were superb
Evening meal was terrible, I had duck-I think it flew from Australia. The toilet was smaller than a broom closet, but they put a bidet in the bathroom---perhaps they could swap the toilet & bidet
Views across surrounding area breathtaking. Evening meal very well prepared, presented and enjoyable, breakfast very good.
I have no complaints to make
Friendly staff, made me sandwiches after arriving too late for the diner at restaurant. Very accomodating when working the next morning before an afternoon business meeting in Lille Great view to work, looking down at Tournai. Beats the cubicle every time! Excellent wifi connection Will stay there more when going to Lille for business
Felt a bit outdated as an accomodation.
Good location with fine view from room.
No evening meal on Sundays.
Location, Peace and Quiet. Good selection of Meals and wine My companions first visit will not be their last.
Nice clean room, very good breakfast, wonderful view, only 15 minutes from Tournai. Good price/quality relation
Terrace and view over the terrain
Bathroom: out-dated; hair drier with broken tube; Breakfast: limited choices
Excellent views, large and very psacious rooms and balconies. A meal with a view in the restaurant with some very good menu choices, excellently prepared food and outstandingly courteous service.
Trying to find it based on the original booking.com address which has it at Place 2, Tournai - sat-nav takes you to the Place in front of Tournai railway station - over 3 miles from the actual location of the hotel. I used GPS co-ordinates to find it - thank goodness booking.com provides these as well. It is essential to use the Mont Saint-Aubert address.
Spacious comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the countryside. The hotel is located on the top of a hill and has a great view. Breakfast was good and dining room was a great find for dinner. The food was excellent and well priced as was the wine. There were other restaurants a few doors away but we weren't here long enough to try them. Much better to stay here than in Tournai.
"Coffin toilets". The small room next to the bathroom with just a toilet in it. Very claustrophobic even when you're not claustrophobic. A pet hate but otherwise was happy with everything at this hotel.
Suburb evening meal in restaurant.
Difficult to find. Hairs on the black quilt, otherwise clean
The half-board offer proved price-worthy. Dinner was not exquisite but good. The buffet style continental breakfast is OK.
Build in 1982 Le Floreal had its last complete renovation in 1999. The hotel is correctly maintained, yet it is on the edge of becoming outdated.
Lovely big room, amazing views from the full length balcony, very comfortable. Quite location. easy parking.
out of season does not make the hotel very endearing and the terrace cafe was shut down apart from breakfast. Very few guests and so quiet we chose to eat at a small local (brilliant) restaurant. Soft furnishings ned a bit of a clean / update - the bedspread had a hole in it! Put some background music on in public areas I am sure the ambience out of season would improve.
We loved the view as it's overlooking the countryside of Belgium. The food was good too and the staff at the reception were helpful and friendly.
