Good location (close to Metro & pleasant park) Big room with nice furniture Helpful stuff Great for sightseeing trip (don't expect anything amazing but it will give you enjoyable place to sleep while in Brussels)
Steep stairs and small staircase
Clean, friendly, practical, well-equipped hotel in a lovely area at a cheap price. Friendly, polite staff, fast administration.
The walls between rooms have extremely bad noise filtering, we had to sleep with ear-plugs as the guests were shouting all night next door. I was missing a small common fridge to store foods.
- excellent free internet connection - good location
- no doublebeds
it is near the metro and the city centre, the room was very clean, the restaurant is nice
the bed was very uncomfortable, there was no soundproofing, every noise from both inside and outside the hotel was heard, it is a waste of money to pay 8e for the breakfast
The hotel is very closed to the center!the view from our room was fantastic!
Friendly, helpful staff, clean bedroom with comfy bed. Restaurant attached.
There wasn't a communal area, and a walk away from the metro
Good clean hotel, fair price for the hotel standard.
Just not enough pillows apart from that all ok
Nice building with atmosphere, easy to find. Amazing view to a beautiful park. Interesting lift!!! Metro 5 minutes walking from the hotel, old city 30 minutes walking.
Double bed was made from 2 singles.
Staff were all very friendly and the room was clean.
The lift was a bit dodgy, and the traffic noise was a bit much. I guess they can't really help that though.
Good value for the price. We took the Villo! bike and it was 15 minutes the center.
The bed could be longer.
no shower, only bathtub, very dirty. found blackhairs upon our arrivel on our clean towels and hairs on the floor everwhere. cleaning ladies start talking loud and working at 08.00 and impossible to continue sleeping. for the noise they make. the indication on booking.com website how to get there is WRONG, you need to take the metro at Gare Midi to simonis, NOT Gare du Nord. This mistake cost us a lot of time in finding it. no hangers available anywhere in the room or bathroom. Upon arrival the room smelled like sigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. I would not stay here longer as 2 nights and I will not come back. I prefer to pay 20 euros more next time and not having to sit in a dirty black bathtub again.
the area and the view from the hotel. the decoration of the restaurante was marvelus.
small room. 2 single beds allthought we asked for double bed more than 1 month ago.
warm and clean room，big bathroom. friendly staffs
The room is reasonably clean and big enough for 2. The toilet is good, with daily replenishment of toilet papers and shampoo.
It is quite far away from the city center (but I managed to walk there), and is 900m away from metro station. There is a tram station nearby, though.
Expensive breakfast... in other hotel 8 euro is an eat all tou can breakfast but here for 8.20 they will only give you coffee or tea or hot choco... croissant and bread plus butter and jam and orange juice...
Broken lift. No offer of help with bags to 5th floor
The cafe downstairs was amazing and staff are great
Friendly staff, position of the hotel, quiet neighborhood.
Lack of a minibar in the room.
Staff very helpful. Good prices. Excellent restaurant as part of the complex. Short walk to Metro through pleasant park (which was nice and compensated for the slight inconvenience of being out-of-town-centre). I stayed here last year, about this time. Whenever I go to Brussels, this will be my first choice of hotel.
There was more-than-expected road-noise, surprisingly early from refuse collectors and all night from over-keen police/emergency vehicles!
Close to a beautiful park Friendly and helpful staff
Extremely far from the city centre Very hard to find because of the location A bit far from the closest train station (Elizabeth) Room was super tiny and cramped although to be fair, it was modern Elevator can only hold one person with luggage and the stairs are very tight and cramped
the room are big and also the bathroom is very nice, the cleaning is made every day, the place is just 10 minutes on foot near the metro
the beds and the pillows are a little uncomfortable
It's above a restaurant, just to be clear. Bed is pretty used. Virtually no power outlets, and those that do exist are a fire hazard. But good price.
The shower was amazing!
Very nice breakfast Elevator
Pillows too thin Staff not very helpful English communication difficult
Not very far from city centre , clean and warm. Francis one of the staff was very nice and helpful. He carried my bag as no lift in the upper floor.
Wifi didn't work in my floor even that it was working on lower floors. I asked to fix it but they said not been able to do it. Floor in the room has no carpet. Very poor supplies for the shower
