Score from 8139 reviews Very good
Bedrooms charmingly decorated. mid way between centre of town and central station ( 10 minutes approx) so sightseeing plus arrival and departure easy.
Area bit quiet at night.
Very nice hotel, close to city center and to railway station, perfect for that price. We had a pretty view to the square..
wifi only in the ground floor
It is clean and location is quite good.
The neighborhood is charming, on the small square in front of hotel there is a flee market every day. There are some shops and bars around and it's 7-10 minutes walk from Brussels Zuid railway station. The bed in my room was huge and very comfortable. Did not try breakfast so can't say anything about it.
The rooms have NO heating. In February they used electric heaters to warm the rooms and I doubt how is it in correspondence with fire safety regulations. The wifi was poor and slow. Bathrooms are very small, even tiny, and there is no shower cabin, so you basically wash yourself over the sink. When I checked out at 6 am, elevator was locked so I had to carry the luggage downstairs - and the staircase is tiny, not the best experience - and why to lock elevator for the night??? there is no one at reception at this time of the day either so I had to simply leave the keys at the desk :/
dangerous at night
interesting neighbourhood; good value, Will definitely stay again
Todo estuvo genial.
the only minus is a real small bathroom. all in all good experience. great loaction walking distance from everything , nice coffee place under the hotel , .
Good location, nice rooms, and halls. Easy to reach the city center. Very delicious breakfast.
The breakfast is a bit expensive, but very good.
The people on the reception were supernice. When seeing my 204 cm boyfriend gave us better room with bigger bed. The location is great. 15 min walk to the centre and 10 min walk to Brussels Midi station. Everything was clean.
Good value for money and very nice stay.
Room a bit on the small side but well made.
Very helpful staff, good heating, excellent location, storage for luggage after check-out.
Weak wifi signal, good signal available only in the restaurant. Elevator goes only to the 3rd floor, you have to walk to the 4th and 5th.
Bed Wiffi clean
Rooms were tiny and very basic
Rooms were very cold as the Hotel has only electric heating, which was not turned on when I arrived. It took several hours for the room to warm up. On the second day we had several power blackouts, which was very annoying. The night before my departure I asked the receptionist if I could have breakfast at 7 am and if he could order me a taxi in the morning as I had an early flight to catch. He assured me that this wouldnt be a problem. But on the next day no one was at the receptionion, the breakfast room was closed and I had to order a taxi via my phone. I will definitely not stay at this hotel again.
The view from the room: right on the Vossemarkt (fleemarket)
no yoghurt for breakfast ):
I liked the breakfast
I didn't like that I was given a room smelling of smoke and then when I was given another room there was no WiFi.
- nice location, shops and station are very close - restaurant has good food and it is a good price - very clean
- Hotel manager was a bit slow - the tap of the toilet kept running and kept me awake all night. - no reception after 10 pm
Close downtown, nice Place....
If We got 2nd more floor, big problem brought luggage to upstair....
Nice people Cozy bedroom Great neighbourhood!
Expensive breakfast (I didn't even try it) Maybe wifi not working super good
-location -view over the square and the flea market -nice staff
-very small room -wifi working slow at the 2nd floor
Friendly and very helpful staff. Pretty good location only a 10 minute walk from the grand place and other attractions. Hotel was clean and warm. Overall pretty good.
- Great placement, 7 mins walk away from Gare Midi, 7-10 mins away from center. - good rooms, large enough, comfortable beds. - friendly personnel, free WiFi, a lot of tourist flyers to choose from, restaurant at disposal.
- Room a bit cold but this was due to a window that was left open. A radiator was in the room to solve this issue. - 4th floor room had a little problem with the plumbing, a tendancy to overflow.
It's a special place for who likes to feel where he or she is.
Don't go, if you expect a standard threestar treatment.
Blood spot on sheets, electricity seldom missing, smell of sewer in the bathroom
