This centrally located hotel is within 320 yards of Brussels' central Grand Place and an 8-minute walk from the Central Train Station. Hotel Opera has a 24-hour front desk, a tour desk and free Wi-Fi....
Score from 1012 reviews Good
The hotel is located in center, in the walking distance to the main attractions of Brussels and Central Bus Station. All the staff were very helpful, polite and hospitable.
I stayed in single room, that was extremely small.
breakfast concierge location wifi room size comfortable bed tea and coffee supplied
Friendly helpful staff. Very clean comfortable room. Just the right location. Will certainly go there again.
Half way between railway station and Grand Palace.
Family run feel to the place, very convenient to the centre and the Midi train station (connection to the airport). I have stayed before and will stay again.
A neighbour chain smoking through the night in a non-smoking room / corridor. Can't complain about the hotel though as I didn't contact reception about it.
The hotel is on a cute plaza and near a street with lots of bars and restaurants near the main square. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff friendly.
The shower water pressure was weak. The staff didn't have information regarding the city's bicycles.
Location, friendliness of staff, good breakfast, WIFI ok !
width of double bed maybe 140cm? , toilet on corridor....surprising in today's world in the center of Europe..
Location Helpful staff
Nothing since everything was as described on the hotel's site
The location itself couldnt be better. I was surprised how clean and tidy the room is. The staff was polite and helpful, plus there's an all you can eat breakfast for just 5 euros. All in all its a great hotel.
Welcomed in a very friendly way and offered advice on the local area. It is in a good location an equal distance from the railway station and the Grand Place. I was only here for 10 hours but the hotel was very clean and comfortable.
I was in a room near the lift and was woken by a few late night people coming back from night(s) out, it's not the hotel's fault but may be you could put a note in the lift to ask guests to be a bit more considerate if they arrive back late.
I Focus on parking because I specifically looked for a hotel advertising parking because we were driving through Europe. There was no parking as represented, and the desk clerk gave no help in that department other than to tell us we could look around for parking because spaces would open up in two hours (closer to 10 o'clock). No mention was made of a huge parking garage for 14 euro about 500 meters down the street. We got in the car and spent an hour looking for parking until we found the garage on our own. In the morning when I went to pick up the car and park outside the hotel to pack up, there was no mention that ticketing was prevalent and in the course of 30 min I ended up with a $25 euro parking ticket.
Location is really very good. Everybody was very fr9endly, efficient, discreet. We felt like visiting friends.
We had nothing to complain about.
Room was larger than I thought it would be, and the location is very convenient to the Grand Place and to Gare du Midi.
The man working at reception was not very friendly. I had included a note that I would be checking in early, which was approved by the hotel. But upon arriving, reception gave me a key to a room that was a mess -- obviously it hadn't been tidied since the last guest. I went back to reception about this, and was told that, of course the room wasn't ready, it was early. I thought that was the point of submitting my request, that I could check in early and have the room be ready? When I went back to the room later, I also wasn't sure if the bedding had been changed since it looked like the same bedding from when I walked in earlier.
We spent in a hotel three nights. The location is very good, close to the main attractions and metro station. The room was big, and we really liked the tea/coffee facilities. We didn't take breakfast in a hotel since there are some supermarkets just near.
The toilet reminded one in a plane (I mean, the sound is kind of frightening). You have to wait a really long time before you have hot water in a shower
Excellent location Comfortable clean rooms
My WiFi was poor
Large room, location
Problem with hot water in the shower
location,service,reciption and breakfast
Location. Comfortable room. Cheap breakfast.
Charged 70 Euro to my credit card despite the fact we had paid cash (520 euro) on arrival at hotel. (refunded after complaint) No bar!
The location was excellent - close to the main city centre and only a 15 minute walk to the railway station. Breakfast, whilst not included, was reasonably priced and well-presented.
Superb location, just a few minutes on foot from the Grand Place. Very confortable beds, huuuge bathroom. Very helpful staff. Careful though, the price of breakfast has gone up, now it is 10 euros, you will find earlier reviews that say the price was 5, but they increased the price recently.
Nothing, everything was fine. Good value for money.
very well located - a straight walk from gare midi, and a 5 minute walk from the grand place. old-style hotel - windows you can open, and keys left with the manager when going out...etc.in a little square with restos and bars about, too. i'd come back here.
no problems at all - staff respond well, especially when you speak french. also: be careful of the unseemly rash of beggars about the station.
Convenient location, walking distance from the Gare du Midi where passengers arrive by Eurostar. Buffet breakfast was €5 extra which was good value. Good flat-screen Tv and kettle, tea & coffee provided, free wifi in the room. Very good shower in bathroom.
Room smelled of smoke although it was a non-smoking room. Blankets on bed rather than duvets. Noisy traffic during daytime, but double glazed windows kept most of the noise down at night.
Excellent location, comfortable and clean hotel with delicious breakfast. Friendly staff! Rooms arr spacious and have good wifi. I stayed here for the second time and would recommend this to friends. I am certainly coming back!
Nothing negative to say. This is the place to be!
The room was clean and comfortable and had a modern and spacious bathroom. Soundproof windows shut out all street noise. We loved the neighborhood which had nice restaurants and a lively, multi-ethnic feel.
We had no complaints!
