Very good,
Score from 183 reviews
“First of all, it is the cleanest and warmest hotel that you can find in the city center with a low price. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast in an authentic hall which is decorated with typical old European furnitures. The staff is quite friendly and helpful.”

Very efficient and friendly welcome. Owners happy to supply local information. Generous breakfast. Quiet and very convenient location. Excellent value for money. Pleasant room and good facilities. Friendly owners. All satisfactory or better. The policy of charging for late arrivals from 8pm (not applied in my case) is intimidating and unnecessary. 8Pm is not late nor an unreasonable time. I have never met this policy before anywhere, and it could be off-putting.

The staff were very considerate and friendly. We checked out very early (6:00 am), the owner of the hotel booked a taxi for us and also prepared a breakfast packbox for us, which we didn't expect at all. During our stay, the staff provided us a city map and some kind suggestions of where to visit and how to get there. Overall, it was very nice stay.

The two hoteliers were very friendly and willing to take their time in chatting and getting to know me. One even went to the trouble of getting me a map and drawing directions to all of Antwerp's sites and attractions. The buffet breakfast was quite varied and substantial and it really had a home-made feel about it. The hotel had a lot of character as it was set in an old building, which was representing the most by the old style lift with its door which you opened and closed yourself! Very good location too, just a short walk from the centre. They also found me a plug adapter for my UK phone charger.

It is totally crap hotel! They don't tell everything about the conditions! They force to pay advance because they know anyway you didn't stay there! This hotel is the shame of the city! Really not worth the price, it is better to you to go to a backpaker hotel. The receptionist was very kind before i payed, but after she was so arrogant!

It is a very cosy, nice small hotel! Not expencive. We stayed there for 2 days. Its keeper - is a pretty couple. The wife knows everyone who stays there. Very nice and smily woman..=)) Tasty breakfast in a pretty breakfast room, with a pleasant music playing while eating. Rooms always clean. In bahtroom - shower and a hair dryer. Clean towels. Everything is fresh and new. Pay attention to the lift..=)) It is very nice..)) This hotel is situated not far from the center. It takes you 15 minutes to get to the central station. If you need - you may take an umrella when you go out free of charge.. In the brakfast room you may watch TV or DVD.. We've chosen cartoons about Tom&Jerry. It is a realy cosy place where you feel yourself like at home..))

Clean secure, friendly staff. I lost my room key and they charged me 100 Euros. This is such a huge negative that it ruined the whole trip and made it a very bad decision to stay at this hotel.

First of all, it is the cleanest and warmest hotel that you can find in the city center with a low price. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast in an authentic hall which is decorated with typical old European furnitures. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. One day after I booked the room, they contacted with me to suggest help about how to arrive at the hotel from Brussels airport. They explained everything in detail so that I could easily find the hotel although I have never been to Belgium before. The room and whole hotel was quite clean. For the next time, it is highly preferable for me to stay there with my family.

Friendly staff, big room, comfortable lunch room The price was risen up for the late check-in without letting us know. The common bath room was very uncomfortable. There was no place to put the towels and you have to take a shower by holding it in your hand because the shower holder is on your knees level. The hotel is far from the city centre

The hotel is very nicely furnished and very clean and the staff are helpful. My room was not en suite but the bathroom was just across the corridor and it was very clean. The location is quiet - it is outside the city centre, . . which is about a15-20 minutes walk away, but there are good tram links to almost everywhere. A very pleasant hotel giving good value.

The atmosphere was wonderfully 19th century Belgian, with a cozy public space and garden, the breakfast was abundant (and an egg on Sunday, as well), The room was well-appointed but not overly so, The second generation owners helpful at every turn. The hotel is within 4 blocks of two major tram stops going City Center or the Railway station, and several local restaurants serve exceptional midday and evening food plus other conveniences (grocery, pharmacy, food markets). Iasked for and received: Clean & quiet, free WiFi, smoking, 2 blocks from friends. Perfect! I have limited mobility in and out of a bath tub, and the shower head is hand-held. It would be simpler for me, and others, if the shower was wall mounted.

- Nette tweepersoonskamer.
