It is a very cosy, nice small hotel! Not expencive. We stayed there for 2 days. Its keeper - is a pretty couple. The wife knows everyone who stays there. Very nice and smily woman..=)) Tasty breakfast in a pretty breakfast room, with a pleasant music playing while eating. Rooms always clean. In bahtroom - shower and a hair dryer. Clean towels. Everything is fresh and new. Pay attention to the lift..=)) It is very nice..)) This hotel is situated not far from the center. It takes you 15 minutes to get to the central station. If you need - you may take an umrella when you go out free of charge.. In the brakfast room you may watch TV or DVD.. We've chosen cartoons about Tom&Jerry. It is a realy cosy place where you feel yourself like at home..))

Clean secure, friendly staff. I lost my room key and they charged me 100 Euros. This is such a huge negative that it ruined the whole trip and made it a very bad decision to stay at this hotel.

First of all, it is the cleanest and warmest hotel that you can find in the city center with a low price. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast in an authentic hall which is decorated with typical old European furnitures. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. One day after I booked the room, they contacted with me to suggest help about how to arrive at the hotel from Brussels airport. They explained everything in detail so that I could easily find the hotel although I have never been to Belgium before. The room and whole hotel was quite clean. For the next time, it is highly preferable for me to stay there with my family.

Very efficient and friendly welcome. Owners happy to supply local information. Generous breakfast. Quiet and very convenient location. Excellent value for money. Pleasant room and good facilities. Friendly owners. All satisfactory or better. The policy of charging for late arrivals from 8pm (not applied in my case) is intimidating and unnecessary. 8Pm is not late nor an unreasonable time. I have never met this policy before anywhere, and it could be off-putting.

The free wi-fi I did not like quite a number of things: (a) what we got was very basic and outdated room, so the price for what you get is way too high, (b) lights everywhere including the room were very dim, (c) the soap in the bathroom was served in a big bottle and diluted with water - no small pieces of soap available which would be more hygienic, (d) the elevator did not work properly, (e) I asked for an iron but was refused due to the "risk of fire I might cause", (f) after the check out we were allowed to leave the luggage in the pension strictly only until 2 pm, (g) the pension is somewhat far from the city centre, (h) the lady who received us acted more as a strict school teacher rather than a hostess welcoming clients.

Friendly staff, big room, comfortable lunch room The price was risen up for the late check-in without letting us know. The common bath room was very uncomfortable. There was no place to put the towels and you have to take a shower by holding it in your hand because the shower holder is on your knees level. The hotel is far from the city centre

The hotel is very nicely furnished and very clean and the staff are helpful. My room was not en suite but the bathroom was just across the corridor and it was very clean. The location is quiet - it is outside the city centre, . . which is about a15-20 minutes walk away, but there are good tram links to almost everywhere. A very pleasant hotel giving good value.

I liked the quietness, the silence and the kindness of the staff. My italian power plug was not suited to the socket of the hotel and they hadn't a good adaptor for me.

The atmosphere was wonderfully 19th century Belgian, with a cozy public space and garden, the breakfast was abundant (and an egg on Sunday, as well), The room was well-appointed but not overly so, The second generation owners helpful at every turn. The hotel is within 4 blocks of two major tram stops going City Center or the Railway station, and several local restaurants serve exceptional midday and evening food plus other conveniences (grocery, pharmacy, food markets). Iasked for and received: Clean & quiet, free WiFi, smoking, 2 blocks from friends. Perfect! I have limited mobility in and out of a bath tub, and the shower head is hand-held. It would be simpler for me, and others, if the shower was wall mounted.
