Hotel Groenendaal  

Friendly staff, spacious room, interesting location next to the forest - but far from city centre.

The noise from the passing trains, which is quite impressive, even though the windows are reasonable insulated, - but I managed to sleep quite well.

Room was basic but clean. Staff were friendly

To close to railway line, trains running up to midnight. A restaurant and club next door, creating loud noise until early hours.

Although the hotel may have seen better days and probably had it's prime prior to the global financial crisis, it is certainly a place with charm and a place that I hope will last as I without doubt will use it again in my next stay in Belgium. The big forrest next to the hotel is ideal when bringing a dog - and the hotel welcomes a pet.

It may look a bit worn and past it's prime.

When in hotels selected for their reasonable proximity to bru I'm used to small room, aweful beds and generally a lousy nights sleep. This hotel offers rooms of gwenerous size, very high ceilings, a nice mattress and fluffy pillows. The hand painted walls is a very nice touch.

Its right next to a train station, which is good and bad. The trains are noisey, but stop running at a reasonable hour. 10 or so maybe. But prior to that they are pretty loud, though not all that regular.

There is (almost) nothing to 'like' about this hotel ... apart from free internet and free parking ...

A jacuzzi in my bedroom ... ? Wonder what this building used to be (or better: was used for ... ) ! Breakfast was very poor, almost uneatable ... worst coffee ever ... yack !

Bediende was franstalig maar probeerde zich goed uit te drukken in het vlaams. Avondmaaltijd was beperkt maar zeer lekker. Kamer en badkamer was proper.

Kamer 2 had ernstige vochtproblemen. Lakens en oude deken mag vervangen worden door een donsdeken in zo'n hotel.

Zu Nah an den Gleisen gelegen. schlechte Qualität der Betten und alte Zimmerausstattung. Kein internationals Frühstück

Lage am Waldrand. Charmantes Gebäude.

Allgemeine Vernachlässigung mit ältlicher Einrichtung. Muffiger Geruch.

L'hôtel est à coté de la ligne ferroviaire mais des boule quies sont disponible à la réception... Lit très inconfortable, manque de discrétion du personnel et nous avons eu froid dans la salle de restaurant. Les prix sont surévalués tant à l'hôtel qu'au restaurant.

De badkamer van onze kamer was uitstekend en groot. Ligging is ook goed, vlak bij de snelweg.Van de trein hebben we minder last gehad i.v.m. logeren met oud/nieuw.

De entree/receptie is niet uitnodigend. Er staat een leeg aquarium met goor groen water op de balie. Het hotel is nogal donker geschilderd en de eerste indruk is nogal somber en dat 't niet schoon is, maar dat is niet juist. Hoewel de kamer wel een beetje muf rook. Verder was de koffie bij het ontbijt koud.
