Location is good. A supermarket accross the river. 1. Due to the availability, we were put into a disable room, which have problem with the shower room. The water leak through the door gap into the room, the carpet was all wet. 2. the room was by the road, it was very noisy when car goes by and we were waken by someone talking in the street. 3. after we came back from a day trip, we found the door was open. must be a careless cleaner. luckily there is nothing missing.

The room (comfort, facilities, cleanliness, space, quietness), the Japanese garden, the dining room, the decoration. We were sad we didn't stay longer... but this is not due to the hotel. Maybe the timetable of the Japanese restaurant should have been longer than from 19:00 to 22:00. It should be open starting 12:00 until 24:00. In fact, Brugge is a touristic town and visitors want to see as much as possible from it - not just to go to bed to get rested early. But - again- maybe this is a policy of the municipality of Brugge and not of the hotel.

This hotel was amazing. It is very similar to an upscale american hotel. The room was very large and immaculate with a grand washroom with a big tub. The hotel is beautiful with a central japanese style garden courtyard. Breakfast is lovely and there are many options. There are many services at the hotel but we did not use them. It is in an excellent location a short walk from anything in Bruges. I will definitely recommend the golden tulip brand.

Location close to the city centre The room where breakfast was served was dull and depressing with dismal music. Needs brightening up.

The room was very clean, large and comfy. The bathroom had an enormous bath which was perfect after walking around a slightly cold Brugge all day! The breakfast was great and the hotel was in a lovely setting down by the river. would recommend a trip to Brugge and certainly to this hotel!

The location of this hotel is great...easy to find by car from the Dampoort and easy enough to park on street in front of the hotel..it is less than five minutes walk up the side of the canals to van eyckplein. The bed wasn't great as it sagged into the middle. Not a massive deal...just not ideal.

The hotel is located about 5 mins from Bruges town center. Room was of usual size and quiet (overlooking the central garden). There is no real luxury here for a 4 star hotel, the carpets are worn through in some places, and parking can be a bit of a challenge.

Excellent service and staff, convenience to tourist sites, good breakfast, use of luggage room after checkout so we could tour all day before leaving in the late afternoon. Coffee & tea facilities in room. Excellent Japanese restaurant. Hotel decor is fresh & pleasant. Walking distance to all major tourist & shopping sites.Buses that go directly to train station stop just across the street. Everything was fine -- we had no complaints.

Location, style of hotel and rooms Staff didnt readily give out information such as the availability of free coffee/tea in the afternoon nor bath robes. Even though there was adverse weather conditions we were not able to check in earlier.

Nothing really negative to say - we were quite satisfied. Maybe just one (very small) remark: Parking possibilities are limited.

The location in the old part of Bruges overlooking the Canal is great and it is a lovely walk to and form the nearby Markt. The hotel is a bit tired compared to the promo pics on the website - good camera angles and nice work with Photoshop by someone! Not sure how they work out the 4 star rating but it wouldn't make it at home. The room price wasn't that competitive for the quality offered, and the service at breakfast was a shambles - no knives forks or plates - people were having to help themselves to hot food with fingers and manage with saucers! This took about half an hour to sort out with no sense of urgency by an of the staff, and ironically as we left the dining room towards the end of the breakfast session there were piles of fresh hot food (wasted) and cutlery but most of the guests had given up and gone by then. Too many basic mistakes for the price - we'd be unlikely to stay there again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, location quiet but central. Plenty of food for breakfast and comfortable cosy bar. Television would not switch off and there was only one music channel.

Location, car parking although not cheap at €15 per night, management of New Year gastronomic evening, size of room (junior suite), first class bathroom. Stains on floor of separate lavatory in room, luke warm breakfast buffet, understaffed reception desk, room furnishings in need of updating.

Good value for money. 24-Hour desk and parking were nice. The room was spatious and had a good bathroom. Big fluffy pillows available in the closet. Paying for WiFi. The heat in our room was turned up to the maximum and made it very hot - we only later discovered the knob to turn it down.
