Location was central, ten minutes walk from Market square on a quiet street. Nice Deco and helpful staff. The quality of hot food on offer at breakfast. Lack of staff working in the hotels bar. |

Contrary to some reviews on this hotel I found the reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a typical help yourself affair with a wide range of choice both hot and cold food was on offer. |

The location: the holtel is 10 minutes walking from city center in a quite area and the room was really clean and spacious Even if the room was clan and spacious, the forniture, the bed and especially the bathroom were really old and not in line with a 4 stars Hotel |

Room service was fast and at a very reasonable price. The spa was also nice, although required a 15 euro fee. Japanese restaurant had best sushi we had since we've been in Europe (3 years). But no sushi on Saturday nights because it was fully booked and only serving teppanyaki. |

The hotel is located a little far away from the city center, so you can feel a quiet atmosphere of Brugge, seeing the beautiful canals and the buildings along them. I'm afraid I didn't feel good hospitality. Perhaps it's because of the fewer numbers of staff members. They are too busy to supply the guests with enough services. |

The location, on a canal just far enough away from the shops and tourist areas for a peaceful stay, make this hotel a great place. But ... read the rest of my review. This hotel is billed as a four-star, but it's not. The rooms are old, the beds look even older, the bedspread seems left over from the seventies. The shower design is a laugh, with the shower head pointing across the tub's width, not length. So water hits this small half wall, rolls down it, then floods the floor. No matter how hard you try (changing directions, lowering the shower head), you cannot keep the bathroom dry while showering. |

although not in the center of the city, it's close enough on foot. Great breakfast The elevator in the main building (above the reception) should be replaced by a hydraulic one, because it's too noisy. Otherwise, the hotel is excellent. |

The room was comfortable. Hotel appeared to be understaffed for reception and houskeeping. Breakfast Room too small resulting in poor seating arrangements, congestion and food replenishments. Hotel bar did not open until 16:30 in the afternoon. Lobby bar unwelcoming. |

Good location, nice spa facilities, clean and tidy rooms, restaurant Koto was a great experience. The hotel manager was extremely rude and inconsiderate. Level of service overall would be suitable for a budget hotel, not a 4*. |

This was my third time staying at this hotel, and I have not been disappointed yet. The staff are friendly (special mention to the night porter who cracks me up every time), the location is good (a very pleasant ten minute walk through some gorgeous scenery to the centre) and it is easy to get to and to park if you drive: just follow the ring-road to the Dammespoort bridge in the northeast of the city and follow the cobblestone road towards the centre: the hotel is on the left. The rooms are always clean and range from a good size to a huge size: ask if you can get one of the rooms at the front of the hotel overlooking the canal as not only do they have the better view, but they seem to be bigger. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of items on offer, with bacon, sausage, grilled tomato, breads, cereals etc., that are always topped up. The only disappointing thing about the breakfast is the coffee that comes out of the machine and the juices (which seem to be more cordial than fresh). Overall an excellent hotel, which I am sure I will return to. |

The check-in and out was very efficient, and the central garden was very restful I thought the breakfast was rather uninspiring especially considering the cost. I would have preferred a wider range of fresh fruit, cheeses and cold meats and the opportunty to order poached eggs |

The room we stayed in was very clean and well laid out. It was also nice that the bathroom had a powerful shower. (which you don't always get in foreign countries). We stayed for one night only, and the breakfast restaurant, and quality of food, were spot on. Highly recommend |
