I had a very bad experience with both the desk clerk and the evening manager. I asked why my room key did not open the sauna/whirlpool area and I was initially told that those facilities were closed for servicing. When I mentioned that I saw others who had been using those facilities, the clerk changed her story to say that since I had booked my reservation through Booking.com, I had not paid the 15 Euro service fee and was not entitled to use the sauna/whirlpool. I retrieved my reservation information (which did not indicate any additional charges), however, she continued to assert that I was not entitled to make use of the facilities. The manager was sitting at the counter at the time and he did not even look up during the conversation!! |

convenience to city centre I have previously stayed there, but it has gone very shabby and our room on the first floor smelled of the sewers below. It needs a makeover ! |

The location is good, Just outside of the busy city center. Not too much noise from the outside. Bed is soft and we liked it. I think the walls in this hotel are thin, because we could hear a woman talking in the room next door. Maybe because it was in the middle of the night ;-). |

The room was good and the bed excellent. Parking on street is convenient. The only negative thing about this hotel was the quality of products at breakfast. The cakes, bread, etc were fine but the jam was the worst I have ever had and the other preserves, etc. also looked cheap. |

All staff, especially those behind the main desk, were really helpful & carried a very friendly smile. The interior design for both the hotel in general & for the rooms is worth mentioning. Well done ! |

During our 2-nights stay in Brugge, we enjoyed staying at Medici's in Brugge. Breakfast is good. Good rates for value. Easy and very frequent access almost in front of the hotel, by city bus to Central Station. Hotel is within easy walking distance to city center. |

the hotel is basic to the point of spartan and although reasonably priced it is difficult to find any good points although the reception staff were extremely helpful and efficient. On the first night in the bar the sevice was so bad we did not go in again. The barman needs a lead injection. |

Its quiet location, just outside the heart of Bruges and still at walking distance from the center and market place. There was a disturbing noice all night long originating from the building's airconditioning system and from the elevator. We have booked one of the hotel's suites and would not have expected this. |

Very good location in a lovely town - ok breakfast buffet. Not value for money. Looked a bit shabby and the room had two single beds instead of our request of a double. Too expensive compared to quality! |

Enjoyed the full buffet breakfast, lots of choice from juices to meats and cheese. Always topped up fresh. Ryan Air of hotels, small amounts of coffee and tea given, would not give more than two cups per day. Sauna, gym, steam room and jacuzzi had to be paid for additionally. |

The helpful staff, the ambiance, the fact it was not in the centre of the city but the centre was accessible on foot. The street map to access it by road needed to be better I actually used a different website to get one. |

The room was comfortable and the reception staff extremely helpful. Breakfast which was included was also good. There was a problem with the bath seal which meant the floor flooded when taking a shower. This could not be rectified whilst we were there but we were given extra towels to mop the floor up. Also there was a smell from the plugholes after showerring. |

The staff were rude and unhelpful. Was charged for a parking permit when we thought it was free. Was asked to pay 15 euro to use the spa. Overall a very unpleasant stay. |

The staff was accommodating. The location was great--away from the center of town but within easy walking. You were in a neighborhood and across from a canal. It was for us a true Belgian experience. |

The Japanese garden courtyard was a relaxing area to unwind. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and a bright and sunny room. Attached to a Japanese, Teppan-style restaurant. |
