Food & beverage

Hotel de' Medici proudly presents our new fine dining experience in Restaurant The Orchid. You will be treated to delicious and innovative cooking prepared by our chef who has a wealth of experience and all this in a luxurious and intimate atmosphere.

In our restaurant Aigle Belgica we serve you an attractive breakfast buffet. Otherwise the restaurant is only open for groups, upon request.

The Japanese Teppan Yaki Restaurant 'Koto' is the ideal place for a pleasant conclusion to a business meeting or simply to enjoy the culinary tours de force which Japanese cuisine can offer us. You can enjoy an aperitif and a small snack in our pleasant lounge/bar overlooking the Japanese garden.

Please note: pets are not permitted in the restaurant or breakfast room.

All 101 rooms 6 junior suites)are furnished to meet the demands of today's traveller. For those who wants to relax after a busy day, the hotel has a fully equipped health centre.

It was very clean. Convenient position and had garage parking

The main restaurant was Japanese theme. This seemed odd and inappropriate because the last time I looked Bruges is in Belgium

location 10-15 minute walk to the centre of brugge. quiet apart from the bell. although it does not ring between 11pm and 7am.breakfast was good.

although the room was very nice,supurbly decorated and very clean, it lacked natural daylight as it was on the ground floor looking out into the corridor surrounding the garden. the church bell was a bit disturbing in the morning, a good alarm clock though.

Very nice room, good location a few minutes from the market square with free parking in front of the hotel (or in the hotel's car park for a fair price). Friendly staff.

Breakfast was served till 11am (weekend), but around 10:30 most products were no longer available.

lovely hotel to the north of Bruges but a good position to walk around all of the town etc.Pretty Japanese garden, nice bar area and a really extensive breakfast with lots of choice for a buffet including bacon and sausage etc.
Bedroom was spacious and very attractive with excellent air conditioning
Would speak most highly of this hotel to others and would stay there again.

Fitness room was only small and did not have running machines which we had hoped would be available

The hotel was first class all along. It was a really good break for us. the staff were friendly and plesant to deal with.

Even though we had requested for a smoking room, thye had us in a non-smoking room. We didnt realise it until it was too late and there were no other rooms available. A slight oversight on the front desk...but other than that, it was a great stay.

Location/Efficient, friendly staff/cleanliness of room

The only restaurant was Japanese which is probably not everybody's preferred cuisine, certainly not mine

For the most part, it was a beautiful hotel. It was not far from the City Center.

The room needed an air conditioner. We also had trouble getting in and out of the hotel as there was a triathalon event that we did not know about it. We had an issue on the day of departure - we left our items in the room before check out to visit the city and do some shopping and when we returned the maids were already cleaning the room. The door to the room was left open and unattended.
