the room design,the peace & quiet,the view,the breakfast

Breakfast was excellent. Staff in the morning were friendly and welcoming. The place grew on us with time. Liked the Arts and quirkiness of the B&B. Lovely toiletries. Large, bright rooms (two bedroom suite)

Stayed in the two bedroom suite: Wireless was pointless - had to stand at the top of the stairs to receive it. 500M from a busy motorway with traffic noise day and night. Dirty cutlery and crockery. Out of date coffee in cupboard. Filthy tea towel and no sponge / scrubber to clean dishes. Stains on sofas and dusty floors. Asked for a cot; was told it was set up in room; was not there on arrival but found hidden behind a "secret" door in one of the bedrooms - should have been out and ready on arrival. Had to phone manager for entry to B&B. Greeted by a lady who gave minimum information and just disappeared without trace! The accommodation matched the saying, "All fur coat and no knickers!" - Looked nice and impressive on first glance but you soon see the imperfections underneath.

The B&B was very intimate and cozy great place to getaway and spend a romantic weekend.

If you want to eat out its impossible you have to eat in the hotel because there is not much nearby.

1) Grueling to find. Have your gps at hand with the coordinates. The address will lead you to nothing. 2) difficult to get the attendant. When you arrive (if you find the place) there is a note on the door with a telephone number, to call the attendant to assist you. If you don´t have a telefhone, you are freaked, for the gîte is in the middle of nowhere.

Hotel definitively exceeds expectation. Has a lovely atmosphere. Great building in a huge park. Nice owners came welcome us. Feels like being in a nice home and not in a hotel. Feels like you do not want to leave your room the next day. Really nicely decorated. Nice furniture and lights. Excellent bed, pillows, sheets. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, very quiet excellent place if you want to relax and chill out. Very close to the airport, easy to get there by car. We could not hear the noise of the main road. Generous and tasty breakfast, with ham, cheese, jam, fruit and yoghurt, coffee and fresh orange, with croissant of course. For dinner a nice little restaurant is in walking distance (3 minutes) with good food and also nice staff.

It was beautiful! The rooms were very nice decorated and well equipped. It was absolutely pleasure staying there.

A lovely B&B in a great setting. Large beautifully furnished spacious rooms, with everything you need. Excellent breakfast. The B&B also sells the Scapa luxury branded furnishings that are in the rooms, so you can indulge in a little retail therapy.

It is a beautiful 17th century house that has been lovingly restored. The owner lives next door, very welcoming and accommodating. Excellent breakfast, modern rooms, ambiance, elegance and style. We stayed for one night on our way to uk - a great stop over. Very close to motorway exit, so close that there is some noise from it, but in that peaceful setting, it doesn't really bother you.

-staff helpful once located -very quiet & relaxing --beautiful location

-checking in - no one was there and needed to call several numbers -mentioned BBQ facility but it was not there -may be difficult to get to without car

Es un lugar distinto, pero agradable, tienes que tener GPS para llegar, de lo contrario, elige otro. Pero como alternativa esta muy bueno un harás remodelado, con detalles del lugar,cómodo, y silencioso.

Nada , quizás el baño un poco básico.

L'Acceuil,la chambre "cozy" avec grand écran plat,belle salle de bain,petites attentions comme P.ex. Cafetière Senséo sur le pallier,bouteille d'eau dans la chambre.Il y a aussi la facilité de parking gratuit.

Nécessaire d'avoir un gps pour s'y rendre car l'immeuble se trouve dans le village au milieu de nulle part

Combinatie van mooi oud landhuis met gallerie. Gastvrije ontvangst in Frans Engels en Nederlands. Gezellig gedineerd en prima ontbijt. Mooie ligging en beeldentuin.

De douche

l'acceuil, la simplicité, la disponibilité, le soucis de tout mettre en place pour que le séjour soit le plus confortable possible.

le bruit de l'autoroute toute proche

le bâtiment de caractère, l'accueil sympa, la proposition de repas pour le soir d'arrivée, la déco de la chambre.

la salle de bains pourrait être améliorée: éclairage du miroir, sêche-cheveux, douche à jets...
