The friendlyness of the gentle whom looked after the hotel. The location was a small five minute walk to the city centre The owner gave us a map and explained some helpful tips of where to go and what to see.
Having to park car about 250 yards from hotel.
Free parking is on the street where the B&B is located, we were lucky to get a spot right at the entrance, otherwise you can drive along the street and find something nearby. It takes about 10-15 min to get to the centre on foot which is perfect given the free parking (it's not free in the centre). The host is very nice and accommodating.
It took us a while to figure how to get into the building - turned we had to push some button on the intercom and wait. Then the host answered and opened the door. Would be great to see any sign on the door or be informed by email in advance. Although this is just a minor thing and everything in general was great.
The breakfast, excellently served in the sunroom overlooking a lush garden on a cold day--homemade jam, homey. Nice room with everything needed. B&B.
Friendly and helpful welcomeälovely breakfast .nice shower room.
The very dark and gloomy room with dark brown walls very dark voile curtains in dark red and dark brown. Would have made such a difference to have pale walls. A bit claustrophobic in this colour scheme.
Location. Staff is very kind.Cozy bed.Reasonable price!
Wifi is a little bit weak.
Attentive host-Jean Pierre. Very helpful in acquiring information for me, giving directions, suggestions of things to do in the area, and for packing me a nice meal to go, since I had to catch a early train and was unable to stay for breakfast. Just a short - pleasant walk to all attractions and just around the corner from the bus stop that takes you to the train station.
Very friendly and helpful owner. Excellent breakfast.
The place is lovely!! The staff is very kind and the breakfast is very good! The room is clear, The beds are confortable and The wifi works well.
There are no lifts in The place, wich represent a dificult to The ones who had big suitcases. Is a little bit far from centre (but everything is near in Brugge, só this is Not a problem.
This was my favorite place to stay while visiting Belgium! A large room with a private bath! Great ambiance. The host was very helpful and friendly- the breakfast was excellent. It is walking distance to the center of Brugge. I just loved staying here.
This B&B is in a typical old home and the steps are steep. If you have problems going up and down stairs, ask for Rooms 1 or 2 (first floor).
Good location, easy to find, obliging host.
Can't fhink of anything.
very helpful and kind owner great location free parking breakfast excellent TV programs choice
janpierre is working very hard nice garden, good breakfast.
no one was there on arrival didn't feel like a b&b
One of the best hotel I've ever been. Thanks to host, Mr. Jean-Pierre Defour, you feel like home. I will stay in this hotel again.
Charming and friendly host, couldn't be more helpful. B&B ideally situated for exploring Bruges on foot.
Lack of parking in the street.
The shower!! The room and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with cheeses and meats, lovely bread and jam too with a bottomless cup of tea or coffee. The staff helpful, friendly and interested in making sure your stay was good.
Nothing - it was all very, very good
Located close to the centre of Bruges. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The charming owner gave us a map of the centre and information. Very nice breakfast served overlooking a nice garden. what a nice guy. Going back next year.
Absolutely it was the best hostel i stayed. Lovely staff, i suggest Everyone This hostel also brugge. Very Good plate to honeymoon...
The staff was very friendly and helpful with us. We need to leave early on the day of check out and Mr. Jean Pierre left a great snack (breakfast) for us at the door of our room. Certainly recommend this Hotel. We stayed there 2 nights in June 2014. Brazilian couple.
The owner is very nice, provided us with a map and explained everything to us. He made our stay very welcoming. Breakfast was good, it's you typical bread, yogurt and cheese. The room was clean. The location was great. Not far from city center, walking distance to everything.
The only downside was we both had several bug bites all over us. Not too sure what it was from. We did check for bed bugs and spiders but couldn't find any. Not sure where it came from but it still sucked waking up to several bites all over our bodies.
Great breakfast in a lovely garden setting
It was good value
Very nice (though small) room. Owner is very hospitable and poliet man. Breakfast is individually served, simple but very stylish. What else? If we will visit Bruges one more tome, we choose this place.
The room was quirky, clean and comfortable with plenty of room. Great TV very large, lovely bathroom and good shower pressure. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was divine and the host was very attentive and gave us a map of Brugge which was very helpful.
The wifi barely worked in the room but was ok on the stairs or near the door. There were also a lot of very steep stairs and we had heavy bags and were on the third floor.
Genial, amazing!!! Excellent breakfast!!! What a huge tv !!!
