The decor was very nice, the bedroom was comfortable, bathroom was good and it was convenient for visiting the museum, which was why we were there. It is also very near the old square and the cathedral, which is delightful. As we arrived quite late in the evening it would have been good if there was a restaurant, but in the event we went out and found a good one - in fact there were several restaurants nearby to choose from, and it was lovely to walk around the centre. |

It is a lovely well-appointed building with nice staff and a warm, welcoming reception lounge. After a very late night, being wakened at 8.15 am by a persistent chamber maid who wanted to clean my room and was not very apologetic. Then building works started up that caused my room to shake and rumble. The same happened to my friend in an adjacent room. Perhaps we should have been warned in advance about this. |

My room, although a higher priced one, was rather dark and pokey, as it was in an attic. It was, however quiet and comfortable, with a good bathroom. I liked the bar and the breakfast. As I mentioned above I did not like the rooms in the attic (ie on the 2nd floor) even though mine was a higher class room. |

The hotel is in a very attractive building very near the heart of the city. It is quiet at night even though the main night life is very nearby. The interior decoration of the hotel is modern and very comfortable. Breakfast, though expensive, consisted of a huge choice of different items to suit all palates and there was no limit on how much you could eat. There seemed to be a number of problems from the computerised keys not working on arrival to the fact that the hot water was discoloured. When we queried this we were told that it was due to old pipework and would correct itself. It didn't. We were puzzled as to why so much money had obviously been spent on the hotel whilst the hot water system had been overlooked. |

The hotel is located in the center of Lueven which is handy for the shops and other tourist spots The room which we were given was small compaired to other rooms in the hotel. Based on this we feel it did not offer value for money or comfort. The breakfast was also poor. |

Clean, friendly staff, the property was accessible to Leuven city center, and not very far from Brussels via train. |

Beautiful hotel and room, even better than we expected. Central location. Friendly staff. Recommended! Could hear some noise between rooms, but given the character and history of the building this is forgivable. |

Beautiful building, right in the center of Leuven. Modern design, room was good and breakfast excellent. And Leuven is an old but dynamic city. |

staff extremely friendly and helpful, room unique and comfortable (small for rate though), location, structural appearance, internet access in lobby, courtyard with outside seating, hot water plentiful/pressure adequate (would prefer actual shower versus shower head and hose but inconvenience minimal) limited parking, difficult to find and access by car (not unusual for quaint, boutique, major city/international hotels), discouraging price for breakfast (for 15 euros one can dine at more interesting and creative venues) |

Hands down, this is the best hotel in Leuven: I've stayed in several different areas of the hotel cloister, and each has been quite nice. The breakfast buffet is very good if you go early. Was sad to leave after a 5-day stay here. The unobtrusive and very reserved staff could be more attentive to the hotel's guests. During the week, there is a charge for Internet access. The computer terminal for guests in the well-appointed lobby is not connected to a printer. The breakfast is additional and the service varies daily. |

Great location near the Oude Market and the Stadhuis (City Hall). Very quiet and has understated elegance. In order to avoid the very expensive local taxis, was able to take the bus from the train station two stops to City Hall and walk less than 5 minutes to hotel. The hotel staff provided excellent directions. The self-serve breakfast is additional. The breakfast buffet is not re-stocked so we learned to go early. This could easy be a five star hotel if the staff provided more attentive service. |

Culturally speaking, this modern cloister provides extraordinary lodging. We stayed several extremely enjoyable nights here. Located near the popular nightlife spots in Oude Market, yet very quiet. The in-room fireplace and whirlpool bath were much appreciated amenities. The breakfast was a disappointment, distinguished only by the availability fresh berries. The scrambled eggs were third-rate. Be sure to eat early as the buffet spread was not replenished. Also, there is no ice machine. If you ask for ice, it will be served to you in a glass and you will be charged. |

Room was ready even at 11.30hr. Friendlyness off staff. Items finished at the breakfast weren't replaced so if you were late at breakfast you missed out. At least the first day. |

Spectacularly designed room, wonderful grounds. Nice TV in room and air conditioning was a bonus. The room was not quite clean; some oversights such as shampoo bottle on bathroom floor, cigarette box with butts in the office drawer. Not 4 star cleaning. Overall, not a big deal, though. WIFI too expensive. |

Wonderful staff who were happy to help, the huge bath in our room and very comfortable bed.Even though we were in the middle of town it was so incredibly quiet! The garden and building itself were beautiful. |

Spacious room, elegant furnishings, historic building. Central location. Low key welcome on arrival as staff serving drinks and had to wait. Street noise outside room (no 8 I think) kept me awake, phoned Receptionist and people moved along. |
