The hotel is situated close to the train station and the Christmas market. Quiet room and very friendly staff. The cleaning of the bathroom could have been better, the mirrors and shower cabin was not as clean as expected. Breakfast was decent.

Friendly staff, they were very helpful and courteous. Lack of parking. The hotel should have paid or offset the cost of the garage parking. The free parking didn't feel safe to leave my vehicle.

Very comfortable bed and very clean bedding. Up to date tv and excellent shower. Breakfast more than adequate and staff great. Tom dealt with us more often than not and was friendly, courteous and efficient

Very good location, functional and good for a short stay. Although in the middle of town our room was quiet, no traffic noise. We had the priviledge of a flash deal and so very good value for money. The breakfast was even included, and offered a good variety of food choices. All around recommendable.

Helpful and freindly staff on arrival. Clean and tidy hotel with spacious rooms, plentyful breakfast. Slight smell of drains during the night, not sure if this was the hotel or the area it is situated in.

Good atmosphere in the hotel as it was over the weekend of the Pukkelpop festival. Easy access to the centre of town. Car parking is not included and this worked out at over £50 for our stay.

The location within Hasselt was great. In the midst of shops and restaurants. IIt was quiet. The free continental breakfast was amazing - better than many we have paid for. Website said 11 km from Tongeren but it was 30+. Still an easy drive but misleading. The beds were uncomfortable.

I have stayed there before and the same high standard prevails. The reception staff are VERY VERY helpful and fiendly, as are the breakfast staff. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Holiday Inn have managed to purchase the most comfortable mattresses that you could wish for, I experienced the same at a recent stay at the HIE at Poole.

The greeting. The friendly staff. The room appearance and cleanness. You have a choice of soft or hard pillow. In the room you could make an instant hot drink (tea/coffee/hot chocolate). The breakfast. The internet was available in the lobby area for free - just ask the receptionist. The sandwiches and drinks that you could purchase 24/24 in the lobby - this service was very useful, as we came back very late from a concert and we could grab a snack.

Staff were friendly. The room was fine and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the city centre and approx 10 minutes from the bus and railway stations.
