Really close to public transport. City centre only 15 minutes by tram. Quiet location. Friendly staff. Good size rooms. Breakfast too expensive. |

Tram was easily accessible to the city centre. Being out of town, with plenty of parking space I do not see why the hotel charges for parking. |

Near to tram stop so could get into town very easily Both my wife & I were very badly bitten by mosquitoes in our room during the night. The staff said that they were aware of the problem but made no mention of it when we booked in. We were told that we could have asked for a spray but at 2am in the morning it was too late as we had already been bitten. I have taken photos of my wife's arms and hands and sent them to Holiday Inn Head Office in London. The bites affected the rest of our holiday as we both felt unwell for some days after. It is unlikely that we would return to that hotel nor would we recommend it. |

Modern design, location close to the city but also to the highway, nice atmosphere, decent breakfast, very nice TV in the room, comfortable beds, guest choice of pillow stiffness and material, smiling staff room service left over of one of the rooms was left in the corridor during the whole day, Saturday breakfast was not as good as Friday's (the staff had difficulties to meet the demand), access road is difficult for use, parking is not free (and there is no other parking) |

Room was a good size, bed was big, nice bathroom The carpet in the room was stained. There was a charge for car parking. I think this should have been pointed out at the time of booking. I didn't expect to be charged for parking at a Holiday Inn at an "edge of town" site with a big car park. |

Easy access to the town and a very good price. The breakfast was too expensive for what it was. The cooked food was not appetising |

The breakfast was ok-ysh. The orange juice was really bad. Rooms were clean. The reception ddesk at Sunday evening was stuffed with only one female staff member who was very rude and unprofessional. Despite the comment sent along with the booking request, she put me and my friends (4 guys) into two rooms with twin(!!!) beds. In addition, despite the fact that she promised not to charge the room cost to my credit card, she did so without me knowing it. And she charged for both rooms! |

Very relaxed atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Location near the tram station was very good as it was so easy to catch the tram into Ghent and not worry about driving the car in. We knew about the parking costs beforehand. Very good value for money. |

The rooms were well equiped and tidy. My room was infested with Mosquitoes; although I managed eliminate most of them, some managed to stay undetected. As I react severely to their bits, I now have a number of large red swollen lumps. When I pointed this out when checking out; I did not get much reaction other than the advise to than make sure your windows closed by a certain time. As I arrives @ 2 am and left @ 8.30 am this was not much use. Also Directions to the hotel were poor it took me an hour to find it. Saying just follow the direction to the Expo site would have been useful |

The fact that the tram into the city is just outside the hotel so no driveing is required , and the cleanliness is fantastic. Could not fault it. |

very convenient for visiting Ghent. Ample parking, easy access to tram into City which was quick, inexpensive and convenient. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Difficult to find it first time as the sign posting is not very obvious. Took wrong turning a couple of time, our fault, then up to next junction and back to try again. |

The room was very comfortable and clean, especially the bed. Staff were frienfdly and helpful. Location was a big strange. Although on a regular transport route, the hotel was in the middle of a business park with no facilities. |

Warning - When checking out I was told the cost in Euros. However without being asked or told, they billed my credit card in Pounds Sterling. This results in a 3.5% loading (I.e overcharge) to their benefit. I have complained to Holiday Inn and am awaiting a satisfactory resolution (I.E. a refund of the overcharge). |
